    Friendly advice, Your perch decoy is sitting uneven in the water (not level as all fish swim). That’s why fish are turning around at the edge of the hole. I guarantee there are more off camera that won’t come in. Add some weights to the head or re drill the attachment point a little further back and you will see more fish come in and they won’t spook as easy. Good luck✌️

    • @trevinoutdoors8956
      @trevinoutdoors8956  11 месяцев назад

      I appreciate it thanks for watching. Water was about three feet deep. when they got spoked I believe it was the live decoy it keeped swimming up hitting the ice. I will take your advice Into consideration though thanks.

    Over here in Mass.,we bowhunt for carp. or suckers, some have super elaborate boat setups, but I've read about spearing like, in outdoor life, and field and stream,, but this is the first time, I've ever SEEN it!!!,,been fishin my whole life, and it,looks like a blast!!!!!,,so different,,,,you should do a vid on set up, and how you do it, cause most of us have no clue,,,and its WICKED INTERSTING,,,,like the decoys, and hole cutting, and where, and how to set up,,,looks way exotic,,but it's been around forever ,,extremely INTERESTIN, FUN, vid,,,DEFINITELY wanna try it,,,but they wont let us around here,,,GREAT VID!!!!,,,,,,( by the way, I was born in Muskegon, should never have left, my Dad was in the navy, so we moved to Boston, when I was way young,,,,,had no idea. you could spear,,,but on the other hand, we got Cape Cod Canal, and 60 pound stripers,,,check my 30s, on my channel, but we cant spear em!!!!,,,,,,,,that's it,,,I'm comin back,,,LOL!!!!!!!)Thanks bro!,,,,!too cool!!!!!😎

    U should attach a sling to the end of your sphere. Where I live in Hawaii. I used to go spearfishing and we would use a three-prong spear with a sling attached at the end so it would give it more power an accurate. Try looking up spear fishing in Hawaii. It's something to think about.

      I'm not sure what your looking at probably the decoy on the right it's a wooden perch decoy with a spinner hanging off the tail for attraction. The sucker live decoy on the left has a weight to keep him below the Ice about a ft above him if you don't use one he would just swim around the hole.
