The same happened with DEAD KENNEDYS, just less people included. When I think of California in the late 70s I’m not like everyone else who suddenly starts humming Hotel California. I start humming nervous breakdown or any of the tunes from group sex. And we have to thank Keith for that for wiping out the image of the feathered-haired peaceful easy feeling trope that was prevalent in California rock ‘n’ roll at the time.
