I've heard a lot of people call him an asshole for suing the FLAG guys, and for ripping off many bands on his labels. If there's any hyperbole to that I guess I missed it.
The Mister Rogers of Hardcore
7:57 wut lol
Yeah haha super weirdo
duuuuude, i almost shit a chicken after that little moment of spazz. lmfaooo
🤪🤙
greg ginn cat rescuer - fuck ya
I agree.
Me too.
:)
Rollins said near the end of Get in the Van that Ginn told him that "he didn't like him."
I don't think Ginn likes anybody.
Ginn likes the herb and that´s about the size of it.
Delhi Delirium nothing wrong with weed!
Stuck in a van with Rollins for years, yeah I probably wouldn't like Him either.
@Mastodon1976 As are you. Totally different relationships, so how would you expect anything else. It was Greg's band, so he had to have more of an authoritative relationship with everyone. Henry was just a vocalist, so he could have, and should have, been more of a buddy to the other members.
He seems a lot nicer than what so many say about him.
41bmc You never worked for or with him.
That’s because he’s talking about himself
@@BarronVonSchnoot If ya listen to what he says - he doesn't disparage anyone involved with the band.
He created a lot of suffering to a lot of people he worked with. He knows what to say here and is coming off as “nice” because he knows legalities
Fucking riff master
Prime example of don't smoke weed every damn day of your fucking life lol. Great guitarist and he wrote so many amazing punk songs though. Now if he'd just pay the ex members what he owes them i'd respect him.
Why don't you8 ask why Husker Du haven't been remastered and re-issued or released tp spomepme who can?
oh in around 03 i saw mistfits with jerry only n ramones drummer. they played a few ramones songs n the they sounded great. i got to sing in the mic n stage dive n do a lot of flips. so much fun. 🍻
It's weird my favorite guitar player and I share a love for cats. Cat men unite! Lol
He's....become......a.....cat.......guy....................
Greg Ginn is the man!! Love his guitar playing and his attitude. Plus... anyone who hates Henry Rollins as much as I do... is A ok in my book!
“Yeah!....uhhhh...umm...uhhh...yeah.”
Bs. He is very well spoken
Ginn is an aspie cat lady.
Most savants are.
I think labeling him a savant isa insult to the savants out there.
ThisIs Slammin it was meant to insult Ginn by calling him one ironically.
I consider savants people with extraordinary gifts. He's just an odd dude.
FoldingChairSA ...Yup.., Well said brother..!! ..😈
who sang on jealous again? i liked that era.
Ron Reyes
Megadeths dave mustaines 1st project was called panic
Nice get Eric..you don’t see Ginn interviews anywhere
wonder what it was about the music scene that caused him to break up bf?
Wish he'd asked about violence at bf shows, and police
what is the "samson" in the credits?
greg ginn IS black flag.
Yeah he always was!
JFC...he turned into the old lady
Oh Greg doesn’t care about “other people” playing “his” music and getting paid for it? Hilariou$
Greg never liked Henry but watching old rollins interviews I wouldn't like him ether according to Henry book Greg was a musician through and through just sit and practice scales for hours and hours it's crazy he started so late he is considered one of the greatest players in punk history 19 wow that is late most greats start 14 that seems to be the age
Henry is hard to like. He has moved to Nashville which is hilarious that all these woke elitist and Hollywood yahoos are moving to Nashville. However I saw some recent footage of some of his spoken word stuff and he was doing question and answer with audience. He was super relaxed, personable and friendly so maybe moving South has done him some good.
@stewartwilbanks4294 crazy ya he would be a hard person to be in a band with honestly I think greg would be hard as well henry no matter his downfalls did become a icon in the 90s he was straight part of pop culture and that's pretty amazing down south honestly if I was American I'd love visit California and l.a but I'd rather live in the south I'm not saying i having anything against hip hop but me personally I would want to be in a place were hip hop isn't the dominant force not many of those left Nashville has to he one I bet henry moved for that reason because he hates rap
Man, Ginn seems pretty normal and clear headed here. I just came from watching his much more recent interview with Nardwuar, he seems so burnt out and loopy there. I wonder if he was high during the interview or he’s just really burnt out.
99% sure he was high. I dont agree with the all the shit in this article but: consequenceofsound.net/2014/12/black-flags-ron-reyes-accuses-greg-ginn-of-rampant-drug-use-and-child-abuse/
That’s the whole gag with nardwuar with all his interviews
Keith Morris was THE best singer in Black Flag
of course
I think so
Disagree. I liked Ron Reyes' sound.
Elmo Blatch Ron was "prime period",no doubt, and his energy onstage was perfect for the band. Mugger asked me what I thought about Henry coming in and I told him I preferred the west coast vibe that Dez nailed pretty well, for a Jersey guy.
I think Morris was better in Circle Jerks. Personally, I think Rollins was the best singer for Black Flag.
God i love that guy..
What the heak why all the cat stuff?
His solo stuff is pretty awesome.
What is UP with this guy and cats? X)
cats rule
Cats are fucking cool... what more you need?
Much agreed but this guy is creepy with it :p
@@remains_BS lol I think he prefers cats over humans
.....and Dale Nixon play bass.....
SST was rather a slippy company. Lots of "other" great shit has gone out of print because ?
