Shell will continue to invest in its Upstream business. It plays a critical role in providing the energy the world needs today and it generates the cash to support our dividend and fund Shell's transformation. Our Upstream pillar will become more focused, more resilient, and more competitive to sustain material cash delivery into the 2030s. At the heart of all this will be how we conduct ourselves, safely and ethically, continuously raising the bar on responsible Upstream operations.
Our Upstream business is well positioned to reinforce Shell’s compelling investment case by doing our part to generate shareholder value, power lives, respect nature and achieve net zero emissions by 2050.

The Dutch part is investing in renewable energy .. But it has become fully English after a USA Hedgefund Activist and invester voted for a split up in a Uk part for Oil and Gas and a Dutch part for renewable energy .. New clean energy from hydrogene will come from nuclear fusian ..And you now how the USA is investing in keeping it all in USA hands . In the Netherlands we've had nothing but earhquakes the last few weeks .. Shell wants to take as much away of this country as it can before it leaves . Look it up !
