Great interview with Ferron, nice guy with an interesting story. There are so many Filipinos in some parts of the USA now. In California, Filipinos are the second largest immigrant group after Mexico, followed by China. In the SF Bay Area City, where I lived for more than twenty years, 21% are Filipinos. There is Filipino markets, bakeries, restaurants, and, of course, a Jollibee. When my Pampangan wife moved to Vallejo, it helped her transition because she could still get food from home, and lots of folks looked just like her (Not as pretty, though!). Ferron's house looks great. At church, the English mass was probably 60% Filipino. Ferron- if you do want a Filipina who is a bit older, they are out there; you just need to create and use a network to find them.
You go to Mac Donald's in Mount Isa outback Australia and most of the staff are Philippines. Its to do with working in remote areas to get a permanent residency if not marrying an Australian. There were Thais at a mechanics shop.

This was a great interview. Faron is very open and honest. It seems like his life took a real change when he went to a "clinic and got a medication" almost immediately his life went from yrs and yrs of pain, slept all the time, unhappy, bored.....to being happy, pain free, feeling "normal", losing weight, gaining muscle, feeling great. Following that, he decided to get a divorce and move to the Filipins, travel, live alone and date 22 to 29 yrs old thin, short, petite Pinays. He says "I've had a good amount of filipina's". More power to him! I can read between the lines and he did the right thing by getting divorced. My question is, what was the medication the clinic prescribed? Testosterone?
Rob ive heard you mention you use a Medicare supplement plan. im 68 years old and have a Medicare advantage plan. do supplemental plans have underwriting requirements? are supplementals private insurance coverage? what are the monthly premiums? i would appreciate any info you can provide. thanks again
I believe you can only sign up for supplemental plan at 65 (inception) and if you take Advantage plan you have 1 year to change your mind. Not positive so double check. I pay 234 month $250 annual deductible
@@FlyMeToThePhilippines I think you can always switch from standard Medicare Part B to an Advantage plan, but then its almost impossible to switch back. Many of the Advantage plans have gone a bit overboard with their benefits and are reporting significant losses over the past year. Expect some reductions in benefits and/or increases in monthly cost, but will be variable by carrier.
I will say this if she stayed with him for 10 plus years that is more than I would say most younger Filipina women would stay with an older husband in America.
The ex-husband wished for a more laid-back and relaxing life in the Philippines. However, his ex-wife has a good job and life in the USA. She doesn't want to go back to the Philippines. They decided to part ways for the best of both of them.
I don't quite see it that way, I'm an former law officer who knows how to ask questions and to me Rob was Trying to pull it out of this guy ,He just either didn't know how to answer or was a little evasive but Rob try's to get to the point
IMHO I don't believe it is not a fly by night marriage as it lasted for over a decade. At the end, she got her wish to stay in the US and because of her, he was given a chance to live where he is happy. Money is important but if we reach maybe the last stage of our life, time is more valuable to spend on what make us happy.
Keep them at home remember you fell in love with her because of her genuine wonderful pina ways, had my fill of western women and i'm still in shape but tired of a western woman.
Does divorce work different there? Can't she just divorce him and take it all or half like in the U.S.? Are there cases where Filipinas marry an older foreigner and then divorce him shortly thereafter to talk half or all? Would she get 1/2 his social security, house, etc.?
I don't think so in this case because because if that was her plan she would have divorced him asap. Nor would she have worked so hard at her job if her intention was just to mooch. I admit it's very rare but I think this was one of those rare cases where they were both decent people.
I believe that she did not want to live in the Philippines and he wanted to move out of the states so their ideas were not in sync anymore, thus they agreed in what they settled. It looks like they had wonderful life but did not fit anymore. It's nice that they had a good trade off. Personally when I marry it's for life but i get it!
I will say this. I knew a couple where the wife treated her husband well at first glance made sure he ate well cleaned the house but was still cheating on him with other guys. I’m not saying it’s the same in this case but it could be similar.
Great interview. Very smooth. Interesting introduction of his work history helps us understand his character - hard working and smarter than average. Seems like a good guy. Wish him the best in life. Edit: My gosh. What a nice house. Never dreamed someone could do that for $40k.
@FlyMeToThePhilippines Yes. Well, he really made a bad deal for himself. He gave up a paid off house in Las Vegas and gave it to her she's basically getting this one too and not too far in the future. But he admits she got the better end of the deal, of course. Apparently, he doesn't have any children or anyone else he wants to leave it to, so that's fine. I just think that I wouldn't advise this for anyone. And whether that divorce decree that says he can live there would hold up in the Philippines. I don't know he should have had more of a solid lease agreement.
@KutWrite Probably. But he didn't say he had a lease. It was noted in the divorce agreement. In the US and may hold no weight in the Philippines. So, an element of risk that he could get tossed out
How did she afford to be in the US with her friend and in a bar at 20? Seems like he caught her when she was maybe with another who sponsored her visit. But I'm more interested in what the drug was that cured the chronic back pain. I no the symptoms very well.

Delightful story telling. I actually didn't expect to get hooked but this was just so interesting! I've been researching the psychology of men and women and when he told the part of her knowing "how to be appreciated; knowing how to be happy" I understood what happened. Men want to do. Through doing they validate the reason for living. Women are nurturing because they already are; what they seek is one who can recognize this and appreciate it. "But there is a 'but" there" ha ha and the story takes an unexpected turn. NGL seemed tragic to me but he just lives true, focused, without fear. He is a relaxed giver. I hope life continues to be kind.
Interesting interview & story. WHAT is the medicine that helped him so much? It might help others among us, too! Chrissie has become such an asset to your show, Rob... and you guys are color-coordinated, too!
I think a lot has been left out of this story. Who would divorce a GOOD pretty filipina for such a reason and then roll the dice on another filipina? But I do wish this man the best.
My lovely Filipina wife and I met on Filipina Cupid. That was ten years ago. It was a lot of work sorting through all the inquiries and profiles. I probably spent at least a hundred hours on the site over three months before finding the "Right One" for me. Be discerning. Provide a nice full thoughtful profile. You would be amazed at how many Filipinas (At least back then) had short profiles that basically read, "I'm religious and family-oriented. Looking for a family-oriented man to marry." Figure out your criteria on important things- A. Must she be unmarried. divorce doesn't exist and annulments can take years and thousands of dollars? B. If you are older, are you willing to/want to have kids? This is a huge priority for many Filipinas, so if that's a big "No," then say so, and it will save you and everyone else lots of heartache and time. C. Are you looking for her to join you in your home country, or are you planning to move to the Philippines? If so, when? D.) her language skill expertise with English or your other language. This is a big one for lots of us who want to have full-fledged, thoughtful conversations. E. Does her Education matter? For me it did so I was explicit about looking for a partner with at least a bachelor's degree. F. Think carefully about the age range. You will find hundreds of young women in their twenties with sexy bodies, smooth skin, a cute laugh and a coquettish style. It's like a drug for us older guys, but if you are 50, 60, 70 what will you have in common with her? Marriage is hard enough without adding built in communication issues. As it is there are already cultural differences and the dreaded "Filipina "Tampo" behavior. G. If she is unmarried , but has a kid or two is that ok? If that's a hard no, then say so in your profile. You will still have women write to you that have kids, but there will be fewer of them.
Pathetic story. If you can find the truth, then you're a supersleuth. I'll continue to order a nice porterhouse and dispense with his unending drivel here. However, this is no reflection on your channel. Your content is always great. Best always.
Thomas thanks for the positive feedback about our channel. Most of the feedback about this story has been positive. We appreciate you sharing your honest feedback.
@@FlyMeToThePhilippines Always great content on your channel. But I have to seriously question the decision of this man to abandon a relationship wherein his partner has faithfully stood by while he otherwise lived a life in debilitating physical pain. And now that he's free of it, especially at a considerably older age, he decides is more important to move on and see the world. There's something missing to this story, even to the untrained eye. Just my opinion, though. You and Chrissy always exemplify the best of character and good judgment. Thanks for the courtesy of a reply!
The 💯% reason (in my mind anyways) for his divorce was the fact that his young, sexy 20 year old turned into an aged, not so sexy middle aged 35 year old‼️ She aged out. Hence his move to pretty 20 year old heaven (Philippines). Now he says (I was typing while the video was playing) late in the video that after a year and half in the Philippines he's went out with a lot girls. My point exactly/confirmed 💯. 👏 Good Good, man he just keeps talking and confirning... "I like a small girl, thin girl, very feminine." ... "I just like a small, petite girl. I don't like big girls." The dude is almost 70 and is acting like he's in a College Frat. 😂. Which is great, more power to him! Live it up fella! I just wish he was more honest with himself about the reason for his divorce and moving to the Philippines, and on it with us. 🤷. It's glaringly and painfully obviously that he prefers 20-year-olds. 😁 (Edited for a typo)
Im not buying this story. I wish him well. A young filipina in the US with no greencard meets a 50yo guy in a bar....i got beach front property in las vegas for sale if anyone is interested
@FlyMeToThePhilippines what girl who is 20yo goes to a bar in the US? She can't legally drink. So she over stayed her visa and is underage drinking? Not making any sense
@@tonyoglesby3337Exactly mate. And all 20 year old Filipinas look much much younger. No way she would have gotten into that bar without ID. So yeah I agree with you. I call BS too.
It actually makes perfect sense. He wanted more from life than living in crazy town Las Vegas, and instead wanted to live in the Philippines, and she wanted to stay in Las Vegas. Being apart, and lonely, makes both people unhappy. Many Filipina who dealt with lots of hardship in PH don't ever want to go back, other than to visit. Many decent guys, like myself, want out of the USA. Sometimes you have to decide what is best for yourself, if no kids involved, instead of staying unhappy for the rest of your life.
HAHA! I love PF Chang's! How did he cold call on a 30-year age gap in USA? Even I can't do that lol! But, Chrissy, to your comment - - - no, age gap relationships are absolutely NOT rare in USA - - - but 30 years would be big!
Yes, correct and I’ve been Davao and I felt very safe. In fact most Filipinos would consider the safest city in the Philippines because the former president was the mayor there.
Very nice guy, i also find it a bit unusual for a man his age in the states to hook up with a girl 30 years his junior, even if she is a Filipina. love the decor in his house. I live in Dumaguete and I have yet to find anything close to his taste, did he decorate it ? I would love to know where he shopped. Tnx. BTW I don't doubt his story for a minute.
I’m wondering: let’s assume he finds and marries another Pinay and they live in his current home, so what will happen to the wife in the Philippines after he passes? Maybe I missed this part.

Please email
Haha! I think "High T" was a side effect of no more pain.
My guess is kradum. It must be controversial or Rob would divulge it here.
Expect some reductions in benefits and/or increases in monthly cost, but will be variable by carrier.
hey rob send me the pdf .

I will say this if she stayed with him for 10 plus years that is more than I would say most younger Filipina women would stay with an older husband in America.
I’d say you may be right
The ex-husband wished for a more laid-back and relaxing life in the Philippines. However, his ex-wife has a good job and life in the USA. She doesn't want to go back to the Philippines. They decided to part ways for the best of both of them.
👍
Every answer this guy gives is “open ended”! Either the interviewers aren’t asking the right follow up questions or this guy is being evasive.
Which do you think it was?
I don't quite see it that way, I'm an former law officer who knows how to ask questions and to me Rob was Trying to pull it out of this guy ,He just either didn't know how to answer or was a little evasive but Rob try's to get to the point

IMHO I don't believe it is not a fly by night marriage as it lasted for over a decade. At the end, she got her wish to stay in the US and because of her, he was given a chance to live where he is happy. Money is important but if we reach maybe the last stage of our life, time is more valuable to spend on what make us happy.
Rick very insightful thanks for sharing
Come on, tell us what the clinic was and what kindve medicine. Many people listening might want to do the same. It obviously drastically helped you.
Lenny, please send me an email. It’s in the description box.
Keep them at home remember you fell in love with her because of her genuine wonderful pina ways, had my fill of western women and i'm still in shape but tired of a western woman.
Try your luck in the Philippines
Old man/young filipina.. how long does the filipina has to wait before she inherits everything? until he dies..
Isn't that true of any marriage?
Oh, except in the US, where the woman can get it all as part of the divorce decree.

Good point
Does divorce work different there? Can't she just divorce him and take it all or half like in the U.S.? Are there cases where Filipinas marry an older foreigner and then divorce him shortly thereafter to talk half or all? Would she get 1/2 his social security, house, etc.?
@@denniscarr-home-solutions no divorce currently. Annulment expensive especially if challenges
guys let's be honest. He was an easy mark for the young Filipina to take advantage of. If it is too good to be true then it is guys. Don't be a fool.
Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts. I’m not sure he would agree with you, but we appreciate you taking the time to express your opinion.
I don't think so in this case because because if that was her plan she would have divorced him asap. Nor would she have worked so hard at her job if her intention was just to mooch. I admit it's very rare but I think this was one of those rare cases where they were both decent people.
It’ll never stop older people in general are more vulnerable
I believe that she did not want to live in the Philippines and he wanted to move out of the states so their ideas were not in sync anymore, thus they agreed in what they settled. It looks like they had wonderful life but did not fit anymore. It's nice that they had a good trade off. Personally when I marry it's for life but i get it!
It was good and unselfish of him to let her go. Now she can live her own life 😊
I will say this. I knew a couple where the wife treated her husband well at first glance made sure he ate well cleaned the house but was still cheating on him with other guys. I’m not saying it’s the same in this case but it could be similar.
🤔
Great interview. Very smooth. Interesting introduction of his work history helps us understand his character - hard working and smarter than average. Seems like a good guy. Wish him the best in life. Edit: My gosh. What a nice house. Never dreamed someone could do that for $40k.
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for the positive feedback
Omg he takes the that house that he doesn't own the land???
Patrick, he has a lease for life on the house, but you make a good point it’s really difficult because of not owning the land
@@patrickmelson4745 I suspect there's more to the story than his side.
@KutWrite Probably. But he didn't say he had a lease. It was noted in the divorce agreement. In the US and may hold no weight in the Philippines. So, an element of risk that he could get tossed out
@@patrickmelson4745 I did hear him say he had a lease. Rob clarified with Faron that it was a lifetime lease.
good attitude and proactive thinking makes for a idealistic future. Wishing him the best
Will put Albert as always happy to see you here
It's because of money, she's desperate and he has a pocket full of money. Desperate times desperate measures.
Heidi, I didn’t quite get your point
How did she afford to be in the US with her friend and in a bar at 20? Seems like he caught her when she was maybe with another who sponsored her visit. But I'm more interested in what the drug was that cured the chronic back pain. I no the symptoms very well.

Thanks for sharing Jeffrey and thanks for watching our video

I think a lot has been left out of this story. Who would divorce a GOOD pretty filipina for such a reason and then roll the dice on another filipina? But I do wish this man the best.
She probably got a younger model, ha ha.
🤔
Perhaps, I found them to be a very nice and interesting man though
@@FlyMeToThePhilippines I don't disagree that he is a nice man.
Hi what's a good dating site I've tried tanta it's no good
We met on filipina cupid
@@thomasc4777 Thomas I don’t disagree. Thanks for your feedback
Pilipinas for any foreigners money.
🤔
9:41. It's vagas man, they don't care.
Vegas baby
The 💯% reason (in my mind anyways) for his divorce was the fact that his young, sexy 20 year old turned into an aged, not so sexy middle aged 35 year old‼️ She aged out. Hence his move to pretty 20 year old heaven (Philippines).
Now he says (I was typing while the video was playing) late in the video that after a year and half in the Philippines he's went out with a lot girls.
My point exactly/confirmed 💯. 👏
Good Good, man he just keeps talking and confirning... "I like a small girl, thin girl, very feminine." ... "I just like a small, petite girl. I don't like big girls."
The dude is almost 70 and is acting like he's in a College Frat. 😂.
Which is great, more power to him! Live it up fella! I just wish he was more honest with himself about the reason for his divorce and moving to the Philippines, and on it with us. 🤷.
It's glaringly and painfully obviously that he prefers 20-year-olds. 😁
(Edited for a typo)

Im not buying this story. I wish him well. A young filipina in the US with no greencard meets a 50yo guy in a bar....i got beach front property in las vegas for sale if anyone is interested

Interview made Zero sense! He divorced his wife to make her happy? Honestly.. this made zero sense.
It was unique
