Seeing and observing how you as a ‘good’ filipina approached online dating as well as some of your motivations, expectations, fears and worries about how certain topics may (or may not) be received or interpreted by both parties is very enlightening and insightful. I find this whole concept of online dating fascinating as an impartial observer. I am happily married man (37 years in October), father, and grandfather of a very close, loving, immediate and extended family. However, I also dabble in psychology and enjoy observing social interactions of people from different cultures and that is kind of how I ended up watching vlogers from different countries on RUclips. This is a great video Chrissy, and should be very helpful to those who take the time to process and incorporate the information you presented into finding a suitable partner of their own. It’s important to be yourself so as to match with a mate that is on your level. If you mismatch, nature has a way of correcting it soon enough. Know your value realistically first, then spend time improving that and all the rest follows

My husband and I have lived in the UK for the last 10 years until 15 months ago, we moved to Philippines and we're loving it so far, it is humbling living here unlike in the west where you've got to keep up with the Kardashians. I miss my fast cars and ordering in restos without getting 'out of stock Mam' haha but we love it here in Philippines.

Rob there is absolutely no reason to purchase a car when you are automatically going to be the one blamed if there is a fender bender. Your tricycle is efficient, inexpensive and much safer than a motorcycle. Warren Buffet was the word's richest man for several years and he drove a fifteen year old car which he purchased used. He just recently upgraded himself to a Cadillac that is nine years old. When it comes to vehicles always be Cheap Charlie unless you are compelled by asset depreciation.

I must add one more thing. It sounds like as an American, I will be constantly walking on eggshells there !! How am I going to enjoy my life there if I have to watch everything I say and do ?? It sounds exhausting!!!

What does a man do who can NOT speak?? Even here in USA, there’s some difficulty, I can use hand signals but most people don’t know that , so I keep a writing pad around my neck or top pocket and a lot of times have to use that, So are women there kind enough and patient and compassionate enough to love a man that can hear but can not speak??

I've been medically retired from the military since I was 32. I am now 55 and will be "retiring" in the Philippines within the next 5 years with or without SS. I will claim SS at 62 but it's nothing I am counting on. My SS will only be around $800 a month since I stopped paying in when I was 32. The one good thing about my VA benefits and my SS is neither will be taxable. SS isn't taxable for me because I won't being receiving enough annually for it to be taxable. I will land in the Philippines debt free so I think 60k should be more than enough to live on per year.

I had a conversation with my girlfriend today about her fears. I am 65 and she is turning 41 in a couple of days.
