Great episode, Chrissy, as always. I wish every woman in FC is like Marisa. Youthful and yet matured in the way she speaks. Attractive yet smart and educated as well. Congrats to both Peter and Marisa.
Great video Chrissy and nice to meet you on the consultation call with Rob yesterday, I'm really looking forward to my trip and appreciate all of the support from you both. All my best
Knowing what you need and what you can not accept in a partner helps to eliminate a lot of concerns. The challenge is to not compromise your individual needs, wants, and standards. Patience is the key. Sexual compatibility is important, but it can not over rule the other 90% of what will make a great relationship and communication.
Marissa, as university graduate in a scientific field is very well educated and we can assume that she was a working student, so twice the achievement. Of course she speaks excellent English, and can have deep conversations with her partner. A 24 y.o. in her situation is likely to be mature and self-assured than the average filipina in her 20s. Best wishes for her and Peter.
@@FlyMeToThePhilippines Thank you! Do you think social sciences (History for exemple) are as valued as "hard" sciences in the Filipino university system?
I started to watch your blog with your husband Rob recently, some of the videos you showed .... I just noticed its a little bit sided. The issues and advices are mostly favored for expats...... how about the other way around; ie, some of these foreign guys are lying to these Filipinas, giving them hopes then disappear. What can you advice to our "kapwa filipina" who were just dumped by these people? I'm also a filipina and married to my American husband for 14 years 🙂
In the first sentence of video, what age does Chrissy pose to her guest, that a lot of people say, not to date Filipinas under?? I couldn't make out the age. I looked for the video transcript, but didn't see one.
Agree. Even a 14 yr old a 100 year ago in the west was more mature and marriagequality compared to a 28 yr old western woman nowdays. Its impossible to describe how useless todays western generation has become. There will always be exceptions, but those are like unicorns.
Met my Filipina wife when she was 25 we got married when she was 26. We have a 6 year old son and have been married for 8 years now. I'm now 64 and she is 34. Age does not have anything to do with maturity. I think age more to do with what you're looking for. Do want to party or do you want a stable partner who is home enjoying time with the family doing family oriented activity's?
I'm guilty. I listened to the vloggers and bypassed this young lady Marissa on Filipino Cupid, because I thought she was too young. I later found our filipinas in thier 30's have way more "life experience" and thus more baggage. Big mistake. I'm now going for the 20 year olds, or at least give them a chance.

Peter is one lucky dude. I wonder how feasible it is to find such a beautiful genuine woman as this in the Philippines?
It is very feasible but requires some patience and perseverance
It’s feasible just takes patience and perseverance
Not Easy
But it is possible

It's important to be aware of both sides of the story and I'll try to do a better job of that.

In their 20’s. Thanks for watching John
YES SEE IS, BEAUTIFUL. GET PIC PETER ♥

❤️👍
20 yr olds in Asia are not anything like 20 yr olds in the west….i should know, my wife is 22. I am not😂😂

Hello ladies
👋👋
24 is young. She will want to have 2 or 3 children. That's tough for a retired man and his future retirement plans. Good luck Peter.
sounds wonderful.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts

OFW helps they seem to hold a conversation. Otherwise I get bored a little too quickly 😊
You are wise to see your mistakes and learn from them.
