- We're going through the secret note collection. This is something you can start in winter after a short cutscene that leaves you with the magnifying glass. This allows you to find secret notes from rocks, trees, monsters and all the usual places. There are a total of 23 to collect and some simply give you information while other give you some amazing items! There is so much new content with the multiplayer update that I'm having trouble finding it all!

I also found that with the Krobus cutscene, so long as you trigger the scene where he runs, you can find him behind the Bush no matter how long it’s been. I forgot to follow him and found him still behind the Bush halfway through Spring

I found this out while is was on year 7, Krobus ran away but i couldnt find him so i just walked my cares away. I accidentally interact with the bush he is in and get his magnifying glass in YEAR 12
I never really understood the whole Marnie and Lewis secret love affair thing. They're both single, they're both adults, there's nothing scandalous about it. I guess it's one of those 'hiding it from everyone else makes fooling around more exciting' kind of deals.
its more of an inside joke on this channel.
there's a cutscene where Lewis says no one can knows about their relationship because it could ruin his reputation as a mayor or something. marnie is a little sad about it but says she understands. it doesn't make much sense for me tho but it's the game's explanation for it.
I think the "boning in the bushes on the edge of town" thing gives a lot more credence that they're keeping it secret for the thrill, at least on Lewis's part.
Maybe Marine is the worst person in town to everyone, and Lewis loves her for her (blah blah blah), but considering she's so hated his reputation would get fucked if anyone found out.

I think it's because he isnt supposed to shoe favoritism and as an owner of one of the many shops the fact that he could give her special treatment is why he cant do it. That's what I always took it as

#23 after the bear event you wallet includes bear knowledge that lets you kill some unkillable things in skull cavern

DF! For the mermaid show one, that wasn't the Easter egg. That part in the show happens anyway. You have to wait until the show is completely over, then press the shells in order. It will give you an item, but I won't spoil what it is!

I was also going to comment on the mermaid show. To add to this, when you press the shells right click not left click.

and if you're having trouble picking up the junimo statue hit it with a pickaxe, that's how i got it

1. The bear in the secret woods cutscene was with Emily (Leah and Emily are hard to tell apart I know)
2. I think the bear had the hat mouse write the note it, notice that it had the same broken English as the mouse.

I see your point ^_^ I guess I remembered that they were a mouse specifically because in their little letter, that's one of the few things they actually spell correctly xD Although I verbally call them Hat Maus, because they spell house as haus.
Maus is also the German word for mouse and during ww2 the Germans designed a heavy tank known as the Maus so Imma imagine the hat Maus as a Maus that sells hats

You missed the mermaid cutscene. That was the show. After the show Eds you do 1-5-4-2-3 and it gives you a pearl.

For anyone curious, the mermaid song triggers upon entering the room, you have to finish it and then do the code to get a pearl, which sells for a lot of money. It only works once, but you don't need the note. You've just got to be patient and let the song happen first.
I keep it to make my wedding vail.
The pearl you get from the mermaid show,along with the golden pumpkin from spirit's eve are universally loved gifts(everyone loves them)

[shrugs] ... it's just chatter. but yes, she Says her folks died and Shane was left to watch over her. sucky parents leaving that bum in charge but there you have it.
though honestly, if you ask me, i think the poor little ankle biter was lied to. i think Marnie & Lewis are actually her folks and she was just Told that her folks died to cover the fact that Lewis is a dick. could also kind of explain why shane's always drinking... he knows the secret and it's eating at him and making him drink to bury it, maybe. could also explain why a dead beat is allowed to sponge off Marnie with out paying room or board. she can't kick him out because he know too much.

The person on the left looks like it is Marnie. Her hair and face are very similar to her ingame ones. Also, the background includes a portion of her ranch, and Jas lives with Marnie. Also, if that was her deceased mother, why would she have brown hair instead of the black Jas has?

There should be a secret after completing the game 100% to trigger one last event. It would be cool if a extra character was added who became a traveler after losing his/her farm and is only visiting the town for a year. He/she can be great friends with Pierre, be found around the beach, center of town and after 8pm the bar. If befriended up to eight stars, the player can get a unique item or recipe only obtained from him/her and something to show off on multiplayer. If up to ten, he/she can help with the chores chosen by the player to either feed the animals or water the garden until its time for the character to go.
the game cant end..... sure there is 'end game ' items but basically there is no ending,
but its pretty good I like it

If you put the statue of mayor lewis in town, the next day he sends you a note with 750g enclosed and is very angry about the whole thing. The statue will be replaced by a rotten plant and so far I haven't figured out how to get it back.

There is a cut scene in the game that was put in for this discussion.
Linus does not want a house. He mentions this more than once.
Not sure if someone already mentioned this. Special charm will give you max daily luck on 80% of all days. The other 20% is randomly determined per usu.

For secret note #14, you cannot get the reward if you side with Joja, but if you go to the community center without Joja, you get a stone Jumino statue, if you hit it with your pickaxe.

It’s a stone Junimos statue. It is just decoration that can be put anywhere. Just find the secret note then keep looking behind the center. Also hold your picaxe out and spam it next to your person

We already knew of the relationship with the mayor. He gives you a quest early on in the game to get his purple shorts back, which is just basically his underwear. And their in Marnie's room iirc. So it's pretty telling. I hope we can get them hooked up eventually as an official thing.

For the one about something hidden behind the community center, I found something by walking behind the community center all the way to the right and using a pickaxe facing the right. Hopefully someone sees this!

hidden by the roof, against the wooden fence to the right there is a Stone Junimo statue which can be obtained with a pickaxe. Note that there will be no statue if the player has opted to purchase a Joja membership
Secret note #14 go behind the community center and walk against the wall in the back, the white hand icon should pop up then grab your axe (I don’t remember if it was an axe or pickaxe) and you’ll find a Junimo garden decoration
Also you need to wait for the mermaid show to end before you can enter the code. What you saw was just part of the show. After you put in the code you get a pearl

I used the Tractor Mod in the Skull Cavern to get all the notes.
wernt0 did you get the tractor mod working? currently there is a known bug where the tractor won't actually spawn when buying the tractor garage
I was playing in my 100%~ farm and already had the tractor garage since I had it before the Beta so all I had to do was go up to it or just press the hotkey to spawn it and it was there.
Whats the hotkey? The old hotkey doesnt work. I dont know whats the new one.

For secret note number 14, you have to go behind the community center where you were standing and swing your pickaxe a couple times. It gives you a statue.
BEHIND THE COMMUNITY CENTER: I found it on my current game file. Behind the community center, on the righthand corner up against the wooden fence and the back of the community center is a Junimo statue. I clicked like crazy and using all my tools around that area and finally found it!
You did the one with the mermaid wrong. You have to wait until the mermaid show is over and then try the code, if you do it correctly you will ger a pearl
I have the magnifying glass but have been taking them all to the museum on ginger island! I thought that was my magnifying glass. I will now know to try selecting it like a tool.
You mentioned having trouble finding the Dinosaur Egg in another video too. You know the dinosaurs drop them now right? They were pretty easy to get in Skull Cavern. I tried digging them up in the mountains too and no joy.
My (green) strange doll wouldn't appear which panicked me as I was going for perfection but luckily with the dangerous mines switched on and hoeing up dirt in the mine over and over, I dug one up first day trying and completed my own museum collection!

Behind the community center, there is a junimo holding a star, it's a statue so you can put it in your house!
And for the quest from the blue house, you need to go all the way to the direction till you hit something, that's why they have rocks embedded in the floor. (You can put the statue in the town center and Lewis will send you money)

If you are looking for the thing behind the community center go to the left side and if you start tapping you will hear the little think sound like when you hear when you hit a chest keep hitting it and you will get a little junimo statue

The thing behind the community center is a junimo stone thing. I found it and it's now on my farm. It's really nice
You press the code after the mermaid show you will know when it works because the shells will turn orange or red when clicked on and you get an item I'm not gonna spoil it though

With the community center, it's behind the center exalcky next to the fence. There you hear a sound of a stone where you slap on, and do that often on that place. Then you'll find something nice :D
I don't know if you found it yet but Secret Note #14. If you go behind the community center and bump into something. Hit it with your axe and you get a Junimo statue that is holding up a star. I just got it myself. It's an all grey statue. When I hover over it it says, "Stone Junimo....Garden art for your farm".
