- I bought a wrecked Mclaren 720s from Amsterdam & then took it back to the UK. I decided to reveal the car at a car show before taking it back to my unit to begin working on it. But its worse than i thought.

I’ll be honest, I wasn’t going to watch it as I’ve seen the Mc on the other Chanel and the tattoo Chanel, but, while I was waiting for my pasta to cook, I did indeed watch it. And…loved it. Great mix of content, different vibe, awesome.

Freddy (@tavarish) did a full engine rebuild. Based on the issues highlighted from his vid, would definitely suggest at least the rods. It seems to be a serious weakness that could turn into a new engine later on if not addressed. This especially since we know you love to do a remap and push the cars after the repairs! Love your content, do keep it up!

Awesome video Mat, love the van and how you always push yourself to the limit, no one else would have taken on that McLaren. However no one else would have done their research into it and found that a new tub is relatively cheap. The 720s is just a phenomenal car (when they work) I don’t think there is a better supercar out there for the money (like I said when they work) if you speak to any McLaren owner they will say when reliable nothing comes close to performance handling and comfort. With the fact you are rebuilding it from the ground up, hopefully you can remove those gremlins, in which case you will have IMO the best supercar bang for buck. Smashing it as always Mat.
