I almost rebuilt a wrecked McLaren 720s and ex F1 team boss Guenther Steiner inspected it. He wasn't so sure on it.. I also attempted to drift a 1000bhp Nissan R35 GTR! Thanks to @BaggsyBoyUK and the team for trusting me with his car.

I feel so bad for Guenther, comes across a genuinely lovely bloke and it’s a shame Haas got rid of him, gonna miss him in F1 for sure

Guenther’s not really out of a job he’s part owner with his friend of quite a big company in America that makes carbon body panels it was the the F1 podcast on Spotify
Yeah, nice guy but team run by him was simply awful. Not saying it was entirely Guenthers fault, but as team principal he was the first one to blame.

@Racing_Dude if you can drive, you can drift a car build for drifting. As proved in this video. You can not argue with your own eyes.

matt is a celeb now. but he is the most down to earth celeb that loves his mates and spoils his family with no holds barred. Love the fact that ur a real dude Matt. Dont ever change mate.
Guenther is from all angles a strait shooter you get no bull from him and I know he has had a difficult time running the team on a shoestring budget with minimum investment on actual make your own parts, just buying what you can from Ferrari is never going to give you a fully competitive front running car.

I actually walked to the live action arena after missing all the live stuff (paid for a paddock pass ticket and missed the whole thing, yes I am stupid,lol) but had the chance to sneak in and saw Matt and Baggsy drifting the car when everything was closing, what a sight. Plus Matt I don’t know if you remember me but was the lad who asked you how to be more confident when working on cars during your showcase by your stand. You’re an absolute legend dude and the merch is top quality❤️

I went to that car show on Saturday and it was a great day out. I saw the Gallardo and 720s and they look amazing in real life. Keep it up Mat!

I love how each project your not afraid to try something new you didn’t know about. If the new car in n/a you should do a turbo add on with you doing all the work yourself. Maybe not the exhaust but you hooking it all up. Add another thing to the list of more things you can do. Would be a fun part to watch on a build playlist! Cheers!

What a Gentleman Gunther , he is a true legend. He had time for Mat and asked questions , it’s what it’s all about. Formula 1 will miss him and fans even more. What Haas thinks he has is a joke. Love you Gunther never change and congratulations to Mat for having him on the channel , these guys go where they want so it’s definitely a sign Mat that you are going up and up in the car world

the fact that Haas didnt let Guenther be able to say goodbye to his fellow employees just makes me even more sad. Haas is going to suffer greatly

Decent job drifting there tbf. Just remember the is very slippery surface and makes it easier to get sliding but more tricky to control.
The next car is an Aston martin, you can see the rear light just parked behind that beautiful Porsche
