- In tonight’s video, I am joined by my amazing friend Goldie in her beautiful apartment in central Paris (I filmed this on my recent trip to France). The area where she lives is very lively and there is always a lot happening outside. As someone who finds city sounds comforting, I decided to leave this video very raw and mostly unedited. I know many people prefer a quiet atmosphere, but Paris is really magical at night and I love the sounds. A lot of time in Paris is spent with friends and loved ones - eating, drinking, and taking time to enjoy good company and conversation. We filmed on a Friday when the city was coming to life. I also chose to include candid moments because it felt real and natural. Goldie is such a beautiful, kind person and I loved filming this, I hope you enjoy it.

PSA: Tonight's ASMR is a bit different - just a very casual, very unedited video with my friend Goldie that I filmed in Paris. I did not give her any direction on what do while filming and she is not very familiar with ASMR, so I thought it would be an interesting experience for both of us (and for you guys!). I have so many great things to say about Goldie, because she is really that great! Truly beautiful inside and out. I hope you enjoy! 🌹

I think it’s so cool that you openly talked about and acknowledged your feelings of envy towards Goldie at the beginning of the video and were able to re frame it within the context of a positive. Hearing you say that was extremely validating and humanizing, at least for me. I think the more we acknowledge these uncomfortable feelings and air them out with honesty and transparency, the less likely they are to become negative forces that guide our decision making processes and how we view ourselves and others. Another wonderful video filled with calm and self reflection. Thank you so much for all your work Julia!

Lots of people comment this and there are three things that come up in my mind: 1. Pretty people attract pretty people 2. Conventionally Pretty people are more open to being filmed because nobody is denigrating their looks or being jerks to them 3. Julia is on social media, her bf is a musician, she has lived in a lot of places, travels, etc so I think she has made many acquaintances through these life experiences... A lot of them are going to be conventionally attractive. Most female musicians put effort into their appearance because they’re so heavily judged by others as performers. My boyfriend is a musician too and that’s just my own opinion. Personally, I think MOST people are “pretty,” but as a friend once shared: (VERY loosely remembered!), “beautiful is in your personality, otherwise it’s just congratulations on your face.”
She also might have friends that look less conventionally attractive or have skin flaws but they don't want to be filmed or have the confidence because of that.
All people are beautiful, but I think it's clear now that Julia and her friends exist in some other level of aestheticism never seen in humans before..
Because they are naturally beautiful. Julia rarely seems to have hardly any makeup on and she is gorgeous. Same with this women.

Normally, the open eyes distract me. But this was not exactly a normal video, as Julia said. I actually enjoyed her keeping her eyes open.

Goldie was struggling to keep her eyes open. A longer massage or minus the bsttery change & I guarantee you she falls all the way to sleep.

I try to explain ASMR to people around me. They get so confused and associate it to being something sexual or thinking that ASMR is just crunching food 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ I have yet to find a ASMR fanatic like myself 🤷🏻♀️

I really loved how it seemed like when Julia spoke about how brushing a girl friends hair reminded her of being a kid at a sleep over, Goldie gently grinned and closed her eyes like she connected with that in that moment. I feel like all us girls have a warm feeling around that, even just watching these videos remind me of being a kid and taking turns brushing my friends hair. ❤️

I needed this. I've been going through some quickly flickering and tough emotions lately. I am still unsure what has lead me to feel this way but it's being pretty stubborn and my usual approaches are not working. I'm irritable, I'm sad, I'm frustrated, I feel guilt, I'm unmotivated, I find myself frozen now and time is passing me by. I am desperately trying to ease myself back in to the everyday of life but it all gets too much too quickly - it doesn't take much too unsettle me.

I will be going to see my GP and I know it's time for change (specifically my career) but watching this, to be surrounded by people like yourself - I want to help heal and to be healed with these kind of lifestyle choices.
