- In today's video I am joined by my friend, Donna Missal, who is also one of favorite people of all time!!! Donna is the definition of a great friend and person. She is fun, funny, + always there to listen no matter what is going on. Being around her feels so easy and I am very lucky to have met her. She is also incredibly talented. When I was in elementary school and if it was a rainy day and we couldn’t go outside for recess, we would sit in the cafeteria and do hair trains…or we would tickle each other’s backs, of course, switching off so everyone would get to experience this incredibly relaxing treatment. In fact, I’m going to get the girls at work to start doing this. It’s such a fantastic way to get rid of stress. Thank you so much for mentioning “hair trains”! That brought back such great memories!❤️

I have been sitting on my bathroom floor with my service dog trying to pull my self out of trauma flash backs. I picked up my phone for the first time in hours and saw the notification for this video. I finally got relaxed and out the flashback enough to crawl into bed to sleep. Thank you 💕

Yes! I remember the hair trains or we would take turns scratching backs or spelling out words on each other’s backs and trying to guess the word.
It really sucks that as teenagers and adults we stop doing activities like that when really we need it more than ever dealing with more stress as life progresses

I don’t know about anybody else, but I actually like the background noises. I grew up in the inner city and most of my ASMR experiences happened with city noises. The beeps and cars, airplanes etc, actually give me more tingles!Sometimes I feel like the pressure for ASMRist to try and make it so prefect is not necessary every time! These soft spoken videos are simply wonderful! It would be interesting to hear a video like this with the air conditioning on. For those of us with chronic tinnitus, sometimes the white noise in the background is an extra layer of soothing.
I like outside ambient sounds. Traffic, airplanes or just random sounds don’t bother my asmr experience at all.
