I don’t know why people say that ultraviolence it’s the saddest album off her when honeymoon exist. Guys did you listened to The Blackest Day? Terrence Loves You? God knows I tried? I mean........ I think the songs on Ultraviolence are actually sexy songs
Honeymoon is the saddest i think because it’s the most desperate album, but UV to me is how depression feels like when you accept it. I don’t know how to explain it, as if depression was your blanket and your comfort.
Honeymoon is 100% underrated and deserves more credit than it gets, that being said its not my favorite album, ultraviolence will probably be my favorite album forever and always.
Watching you go through Lana Del Rey discography is the best thing ever I’m so happy you’re doing everything and the Deluxe versions of all albums. Seriously Lana is something else, she’s so poetic, deep and storytelling based with her music that it just paints a story in your mind! She’s. Not afraid to talk about any topic. Plus her vocals omg! The fact that she has a poetry book out also is insane cause she’s so talented!! Ultraviloence has a very different sound from Born To Die but it’s also super deep with lyrics so idk listening at night to it might set the mood even more.
Her albuns are aesthetics with the times of the day, like she said one day Born to Die it's the Morning, Paradise it's the Afternoon, Ultraviolence it's the Night
React to her short film "Tropico" if you wanna feel super sad :) it includes "Body Electric", "Gods & Monsters" and "Bel Air", with some poems by Walt Whitman. Its a whole half an hour journey.

"Gods and Monsters" always makes me thinks of The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde. The imagery and the references, and the message of the song makes me think of it.
