Yes. The judiciary is a joke. There are 5 crore cases pending. There are criminals roaming free outside and many innocents at jail without being guilty.
The actual survivors and victims of crimes waiting for justice. I recently remember reading a journalist who was robbed and killed by her robbers. The parents of the journalist fought for their daughter for 15 long years for justice at the Supreme court.
GDP per capita is low, women's objectification is the culture,HDI is low, peace index is low....this country is underdeveloped. PS: That almost goes for all the governments in the country...not only Modi.
Every rape got these layers behind it. 1. Objectification of women in our movies 2. The common role our actresses are offered is to support a man emotionally or to earn his love as her prime goal 3. The iniquitous 'item songs' 4. Men never told to not stare at a woman rather women are told to dress properly 5. Lack of proper sex education 6. Prostitution and pornography 7. Patriarchy causing men to feel superior 8. Alcohol, drugs As long as we don't address all of these collectively, we'll only erupt now and then and won't find a solution.
Sezual desires nature ka best gift hai...isse ke wajay se hum sab paida hue...isse appreciate karo, celebrate karo...isse ke wajay se humanity chal rhe hai.... ....Movies mei item song, objectification ka reason yeh hai...hindustan mei log sexually deprieved hai.....pehle child marriages hote the ab nhi hote....
I agree with all of your points, except 6th one. Prostitution has saved a lot of Wives - because beasts called men do much worse with prostitutes that they dare not do with a wife. Though Prostitution should be systematically abolished from our society with safety nets for these women, as they say Prostitution is the oldest employment so I don't know whether it's possible. As for pornography, yup it should be strictly monitered because this too can't be Fully abolished from existence. Since men and women learn "sex ed" from these faked videos, unless taboo is lifted from sex, this will be attractive evil from men

Not trying to undermine your comment or anything.. just adding to it that it's equally shameful when a citizen is raped. It's sad that this only affected people when India's name was maligned.
I did my internship with a NGO & I personally attended to a rape case of a 14 yr old girl. The girl went missing & I was shocked to see that the police dept was not ready to write an FIR. Ms Yogita, you definitely make a point that the police dept have become insensitive, for whatever situation they are facing in the dept. Why do they do that 🧐 I am genuinely curious. Even in nirbhaya case, they were making them roam around from police station to another police station instead of filing the case. In hopes that she'll d!£ early. And they also call them fake case, if they don't feel like investigating it and blame the victim. It's feels most police are grapist and criminals themselves and they see nothing wrong with what grapist are doing.

Totally. And this is not new. Since Bollywood started - rubbish is depicted. Zero reality. Zero responsibility for causing positive change. And such a massive gap between the haves & have nots. Screen pE women and men are sexy, free to do what they like, privileged backgrounds etc. The viewers are largely underprivileged people- they step out of the cinema hall & back to their starkly different reality. Leads to a lot of frustration, helplessness & anger. Earlier it was abala naari Saved by hero male. Then 70s 80s - rape etc being shown in cheap & titillating manner. I do think movies currently have become more realistic and address social issues every now & then . Of course there are really awful violent movies like animal . India is divided into a small minority of super rich disconnected from reality. Majority at the other end - always struggling to make ends meet. When the govt decides to use our massive GDP (5th richest country in the world we are now) / for basic rights like safety, freedom from poverty & hunger, complete availability of clean water, electricity, free early education… Job creation, educational institutions. More police jobs. Reforms & decent salary for security personnel. And we will never see that day. Where is the money going ? Nobody will ever know

Every male should watch this video, regardless of their respect for women, as everyone needs to understand how to respect women, starting from their own homes. My plea to every guy is to educate others on how to treat every girl with respect. Change begins here. It's crucial to prioritize education over spreading hate for political or religious gains, as this only holds us back and leads to increased crime rates, unfortunately, this is the reality. Our government should prioritize women's safety, child protection, and education more.
Everything begins from home, parents should inculcate good values, also how to respect girls and women to their darling sons. Parents change your mindset. Your sons are no gods.

Completely agree. First, the Central and State Governments should completely ban all types of Pornography in India without any exceptions. Nobody of any age should be allowed to view it or consume it. More later.
@srangavittal7435 its not about porn, can't even be educated between sexual act and something inferring a gender as a sex object. Movies, songs , teachings, view of women in society and their status in backward regions of india which is 90% unfortunately, since most is still in 19th century.... are the biggest root causes. Education alone wont fix shit. Not trying to say u r wrong but before porn its not like rape didn't happen. Teach men n women more sex education so they can understand and control their urges. Stop being stuck on just religious hypocrisy and hide behind glass castle cultural values.

Shame to the system. Not just police. We are part of the problem too. So many cases,so many people in this picture. *Criminal 's mentality *Criminal's parents who try to whitewash their child's crime. Many times by threatening victim herself/himself or even murdering the victim. They failed to give good sanskar to their child * Friends ,who urge the criminal ,even take part in crime (those guys who talk derogatorily about a girl whom their friend is attracted to, insisting him to commit crime) *Men and women who molest young boys and many cases where women also also molested young girls(a case where one lesbian woman molested a college girl who lived as roomate in a flat)using a strap on-toy,2 years old ago) *Our textbook 'moral value' which was removed from curriculum long ago.or biology book which don't have statement "concent is must" at the end of reproduction chapter. The school system which shy away from giving sex edu to Students. Those teachers who skip biology classes because they think the chapter is disgusting, especially the mensuration part. (Remember that news when a guy in his 20s killed his young teen sister by shooting at her because she got her periods and her bedsheet was stained? He thought she had intercourse with a guy so he was angry. Imagine this! A grown ass adult. Part of gen z!Today when education is free, having 0 idea about periods. Seriously? *Another problem is us,the society which still consider women guilty and impure if she's abused. An unfortunate event happens with her without her concent and yet people find her guilty ,or when they ditnt find her guilty, they pity her and consider her impure. The pride of family resides in women's vagina, what load of bullcrap. Men aren't safe either. When same assult happens on men. People laugh. As if he don't feel hurt. Both men and women target men sexually as well. There are cases where men have trauma from childhood because old aunts and random older guys abused them. A lot of these young boys end up doing same thing to a girl because they had unfortunate childhood and they ended up believing that whatever happened is right thing and they should do it with someone else. This is how older teen/adult boys who are friends with younger boys, teach them how to catcall a girl, how to molest her ,how to abuse her on road. Whistles, comments, inappropriate touches in overcrowded places , specially buses , trains or even classrooms. This thing ,i have noticed firsthand. *Our relatives or parents who gossip about such events and either feel pity for girl and think her as impure or found her guilty. *Our relatives who are part of authoritarian system. We all have one or two distant relatives who are part of police, or a relative who is lawyer, or one who got a nice adminsitration job but he never gave proper exam because earlier back then, you can get job with just "sifarish" if you have connection with politician. We all are part of problem not just police. How many of us help people in need? When there is accident on road, when someone is beating someone, when someone is abusing animal on street, when someone is molesting a girl, when someone is touching anyone inappropriately, when someone is shouting or drunk on road and abusing someone. When someone is doing domestic violance. When some abusive guy/daughter in law slaps their parents. Or when a husband or wife slaps, beats or abuse each other mentally or physically, when a child is beaten badly. When someone pours their frustration on someone else and slaps them. For example a frustrated guy after work or a angry mother. How is police only part of problem?

She has witnessed many such cases, shaping her into a tough woman, evident in her frustrated breaths, reflecting her disillusionment with the system. Raj's questions, may be crafted for content, but stem from genuine curiosity. In conclusion, it seems impossible to curb these inhuman criminals. Protection remains the only recourse for safety. I urge all brothers and sisters not to venture out late at night. While it may limit your freedom, it could shield you from these 'wild animals in human face.' If necessary, restrict yourself, but prioritize safety. Pray, perform Puja, meditate daily for protection. For those working far from home, consider returning or relocating your family for safety. Stay safe. Please be safe and careful 🙏🏻
In short, go to dark ages. Pallu me sar chupa ke ghar me underground ho jao. Kyunki society to badalne se rahi. Aur ghar me agar unke saath kuch galat hua to kya hi farq padta hai. I completely agree. Unfortunately, little has changed for many underprivileged women and children, including young boys. It is crucial that we continue to address these issues and work toward educating more people. A key element in this effort is increasing the presence of women in the workforce, particularly in powerful and decision-making roles. Women face challenges beyond financial struggles; they also need the power and independence to make thoughtful decisions for themselves, their families, and society at large. Although progress may come in small steps, each step is essential. Just as we teach children about appropriate and inappropriate touch, we should also provide formal education on respectful behavior towards women. Furthermore, mandatory physical training for all children and women is important, equipping them to protect themselves and others in need.

"I respect this lady from the bottom of my heart for her great work." 🙇
This work requires great courage.
India can become 30 trillion economy but if justice is delayed and denied at this rate we will never be developed.
So true
GDP per capita is low, women's objectification is the culture,HDI is low, peace index is low....this country is underdeveloped.
PS: That almost goes for all the governments in the country...not only Modi.
Justice delayed is JUSTICE *DENIED*
Thanks
👏
Every rape got these layers behind it.
1. Objectification of women in our movies
2. The common role our actresses are offered is to support a man emotionally or to earn his love as her prime goal
3. The iniquitous 'item songs'
4. Men never told to not stare at a woman rather women are told to dress properly
5. Lack of proper sex education
6. Prostitution and pornography
7. Patriarchy causing men to feel superior
8. Alcohol, drugs
As long as we don't address all of these collectively, we'll only erupt now and then and won't find a solution.
Since men and women learn "sex ed" from these faked videos, unless taboo is lifted from sex, this will be attractive evil from men
@@shreyajanga9296 Oh hello...Why are you insulting men like thia...

Personally, the rape, murder cases should have a fast track system so that the fear should be there before doing this act!!!

If they don't file an FIR, they should be put in jail

Earlier it was abala naari
Saved by hero male.
When the govt decides to use our massive GDP (5th richest country in the world we are now) / for basic rights like safety, freedom from poverty & hunger, complete availability of clean water, electricity, free early education…
Job creation, educational institutions.
More police jobs. Reforms & decent salary for security personnel.
And we will never see that day.

More later.
@@srangavittal7435 so you think 🤔 porn is reason of rape but do you know girls are also big consumers of porn

Men and women refuse to rules of shastras now they are own their own in this world. Why shall God help ?
Respect for this lady and shame for police who work for only money. 💩
Shame to the system. Not just police. We are part of the problem too. So many cases,so many people in this picture.
*Criminal 's mentality
*Criminal's parents who try to whitewash their child's crime. Many times by threatening victim herself/himself or even murdering the victim. They failed to give good sanskar to their child
* Friends ,who urge the criminal ,even take part in crime (those guys who talk derogatorily about a girl whom their friend is attracted to, insisting him to commit crime)
*Men and women who molest young boys and many cases where women also also molested young girls(a case where one lesbian woman molested a college girl who lived as roomate in a flat)using a strap on-toy,2 years old ago)
*Our textbook 'moral value' which was removed from curriculum long ago.or biology book which don't have statement "concent is must" at the end of reproduction chapter.
Tu kya muft main kaam karta hai 😂

In short, go to dark ages. Pallu me sar chupa ke ghar me underground ho jao. Kyunki society to badalne se rahi. Aur ghar me agar unke saath kuch galat hua to kya hi farq padta hai. As long as, ghar ki baat ghar me rahe, sab changa si. We can go back to pretending ki hum auraton ko devi ki tarah poojte hai.
@@garimakilledar5810 I can't say about other's 'ghar' but I can assure my safety and my family's safety in my home. I'm a common man and I accept that I can't fight with the evil in an unknown place far away from my locality. I prefer protection better than cure and these incidents are incurable... The evil flashbacks stay for life. I can't bait my family for societal change. This podcast really scared me. it showed actual image of society, law and overall system. And in my home no one forced me to wear dhoti and pallu saree to my sister. Enjoy your freedom ma'am but stay cautious 🙏🏻
India is so backward in terms of rape cases this interview makes us realised. 😢
@prathameshadsul8700 thats because of indian males lol. This society is made by males

This is the best podcast on RUclips . My respect for you and this lady has touched peak. She’s such a strong woman . And the questions you’ve asked are so sensible and with civility and gentleness. We definitely NEED more MEN LIKE YOU. 🙌🏼
U should definitely make more such episodes. It was very impactful.
Thank you so much 🙌🏻
I will definitely try to spread more awareness, more guests to speak on this topic. Need of the hour.

The town where my brother lives, a principal of a college killed the rapists of a student from the same college. And the most shocking part is that, the victim's female friend helped the rapists. The principal is in jail and college is shut down but he is the most respected in his area. This is the reason why some people take law in their hands.
Poor guy wasted his life.
@@gurunaveen2647 Meanwhile they can't send RG kor principal to jail.
