The woman who ‘Fights for men’s rights’. She likes to call herself an ‘Equal Rights Activist’. She is a popular Indian Journalist, known for her documentary "Martyrs of Marriage". Her documentary was screened in 22 cities in India and later released on Netflix for 2 years and is now available on RUclips.

She shares some really shocking stories in India around fake rape allegation cases due to false promises of marriage and the percentage has increased from 21% to 51% over the years is only rising. Being a woman, I just thought we are unsafe, this podcast was an eye opener.. I salute to such women's who are not just thinking but working and fighting for mens and their rights..
Its extremely sad that women have to be told and shown the sufferings of men, as if its not even visible. It clearly shows most women only care about themselves, men are mere utilities in the society and everything is about women and children. No wonder so many young men are staying away from women, relationships, marriage and kids. I live in the US and I thought this trend is only prevalent here, but unfortunately India is no less. No offence to any woman, but I guess zero interaction with women throughout life is the best way to go for men. Nevertheless a few women like Deepika keep the flame of hope burning that perhaps all women are not the same.

After 16 years of marriage, i had to go through all these false case(498A, DV the complete catalogue). I fought. I had no idea what these sections were and how the judicial system work. My advice is to gain all the knowledge about the laws and have solid proofs. You never know when you might need them. And maintain your dignity and spirit because to fight for your innocent with the one you loved for so long in court is very difficult and painful.

Don't want to sound pessimistic but getting aware about these incidents occuring in mammoth magnitude, sadly shake one's faith in institution of marriage in current times. It just feels like taking a leap of faith for either getting a right partner or watching your entire family suffer for false accusations. A choice I don't think I'll be ready to make anytime soon.
i would recommend "run far" from marriage otherwise you will get package deal of 498a, 125 crpc, DV act etc

I'm all for it and not dismissing male rights but i believe for long time women have been asked to live safely ..like not wear certain clothes, don't go out after certain hour, like be careful of men...they can blackmail you with personal pictures or etc. we have always been taught to live safely. I think men should also learn to live safely in the current environment. We never said all men are bad or rapists when the times were different back in the days. We didn't stop marrying or dating men right. Laws are difficult for both genders in this country we should fight but the problem is if law supports men then women will be oppressed and if law supports women, lots of men will get oppressed. There will be no balance. So men should now learn to live safely and be more cautious and careful while choosing partners or going in sexual relationships. Men should be more mindful of their actions.

Men don't need to be in a relationship in order to get charged under various provisions, like Deepika said in this video "A woman don't even need to know you if she wants to accuse you, you both may not even meet yet police would be obliged to frame charges"
Women suffering is overestimated both by society & judiciary (with an example given in this video itself where a 15-year-old is registered as an offender whereas an actual pedo 23-year-old woman gets Scott free!) these cases are then used as a tool to manipulate the general population into believing men as perpetrators whereas women as victim
This 15 year old boy who was actually graped would be used as a part of statistics in parliament to further frame laws against him and his gender!

In orissa also several cases have been reported where women trapped innocent men by calling them to their home and taking objectionable pictures of them to extract money by threating them to post the pictures on social media.
Out of fear most people give the money to hush the matter as public shaming is something that everyone can't handle and may even commit suicide.
There have been cases where victim commited suicide because of false charges.
It's sick culture that is evolving especially in cities where they target innocent people. Pure Evil!
Just stick to traditional arranged marriage with a clean, pure girl. Leave all this western garbage of dating, gf/bf etc.
