I'm 69 years old and I am rebuilding my body with whey protein (unflavored), leafy greens, sweet potatoes, chicken and turkey. No seed oils and virtually no processed sugar.
You are on point as in thinking and knowing the benefits and feelings of eating healthy. It can be done. It takes focus, discipline, self-control, consistency, and patience to see desired results.
At 58 y/o, I basically "Keep It Simple Stupid" (KISS) and intermittent fast 3 days out of the week (Mon, Wed & Fri water only) in which I have no problem doing and this maintains my fitness along with some strength and cardio training. The day's that I'm not intermittent fasting, I'm eating OMAD. I remember as a youngin first ever reading about the benefits of lifestyle fasting by reading "How to eat to live." by the Honorable Elijah Muhammad and trust me fasting wasn't that popular and talked about like it is nowadays, he was ahead of the times.
Not a truthful statement. Ppl have been fasting since before "biblical" times, they just didn't taking about it. Fasting is mentioned all throughout the Bible and other "holy books". No disrespect to The Honorable Elijah Mohammed tho but fasting has been a practice for 1000s of years or more, both voluntarily and involuntarily. The most important thing is that we all have different goals with a myriad of ways to achieve them and KingPrime is sharing one perspective of many.
I do a lot of distance running and my diet is similar. Love Icelandic yogurt. Organic eggs, blueberries, sweet potatoes, wild caught salmon, quinoa, avocado, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, kale, wild rice, asparagus, garlic and evoo. Also drink banana milk instead of regular milk and have switched to plant based butter with avocado oil.
Video was very helpful to realize what I need to eat but however it's very hard for me as a truck driver but I recently been eating sandwiches like turkey and cheese tuna sandwich I know bread is not good but what other foods should I not eat. I have loss weight before and gain it right back very stressful not reaching my goal.
Appreciate your response and your transparency. Is Ruff being on the road and trying to maintain healthy habits. I know it as a frequent traveler, but I think being a truck driver is perhaps even harder. It sounds like you know what to do but discipline is an issue asked for items to eat, You can make it a habit to often have fruit, nuts, protein, bars, water, and lean meats. Surely you will eat other things along the way, but eating 90% healthy stuff, ensuring that you have a good workout routine and discipline is going to be key..
Great info.... I make my own yogurt, either with L Reutori or take two tablespoons of store bought and make 1 cup size jars in my yogurt maker. If you take some chili powder and small bit of habanero peppers and mix them into a blended (or hand mixed) Avocado for some delicious guac to add to omelettes or even regular fried (in animal fats) eggs. Be careful with the green veggies because some of them are very high in Oxalate and can cause unwanted inflammation. Except Arugula which has none at all, plus is a great source of Nitric Oxide. For people with insulin issues, I would not suggest Quinoa as the carbs contained in even one cup will spike blood sugars several points.
Hey King your right, I agree 💯 unfortunately for me I have forgotten more than I can remember. I'm 68 and is trying to get my six pack back, struggling with it but just those friendly reminders of yours helped tremendously! Hey Thanks King !(
Thank you! I like oatmeal, (without sugar), but with Jif natural peanut butter and one sliced apple. Grilled chicken salad (tossed). Baked chicken with fresh or frozen spinach or mixed vegetables. I have to start cooking salmon at least once a month. Hot water with lemons. Green tea. Today I bought, (for the first time Turmeric & Ginger tea). Snack: sunflower seeds. Raw mixed nuts or just almonds (no cranberries, they are too sweet). Seasonal black grapes. I'll have to add Quinoa to my list. I love avocados (guacamole and on a breakfast sandwich).
This is fantastic! And kudos to you for enjoying oatmeal with nothing in it 😂😂😂 turmeric and ginger tea is one of my favorites and I hope that you enjoy your very first batch of it. Keep living, strong and stay healthy. Appreciate your support.
New subscriber I really find this helpful since i was so confused if chicken and meat is okay to consume. It been three weeks of consistent discipline. Tho i don't see results i feel lighter and good.❤❤❤ thanks so much
Hi Linda! I’m honored that you hear and look forward to serving you with quality videos and information. I typically come out with my audio podcast on Monday, followed by the video on Tuesday.
I am gluten intolerant. I love baked, grilled or air fryer foods. Trying to lose 10 more pounds. Plus I don't have my thyroid since 2018. 55 yrs of life and pushing through. I work out 4 days week 30 mins to 45/ 1 hour.
Thanks. I'm definitely trying. I don't eat fast foods. So I'm trying to see what's best to eat to shed these last 10 pounds and tone up nicely? What to avoid??
I always have eaten a balance of opposites....love greek yogurt, raw veggies, green veg, leafy greens, fish, chicken, beef, was born & grew up on the orient eating street market food
I make my own protein shakes everyday for after i work out. Plain greek yogurt was one of the things i put in my shake for protein. After doing research & finding out dairy causes prostate cancer, i cut all dairy products out. Its a fact that the more dairy products men eat, they have a higher chance of prostate cancer then men who don't eat dairy. My dad had prostate cancer but they caught it early but the radiation messed him up inside. I just chose to stay away from things that can make you have a higher risk of prostate cancer.
Thank you! When you said greek yogurt I said I love me some greek yogurt. Then you said, I love me some greek yogurt. Hahaha. And chobani is my fav. I add thawed Blueberries/raspberries/blackberries (the juice from the thaw, yummy), walnuts, dark chocolate and collagen. My fav lunch.
Air fried foods can cut calories significantly!! However it’s still fried, but a better version. It really comes down to how it’s prepared.. it’s perfectly fine if you’re not using the usual suspects as coatings when as one would when deep frying

I also eat Guac, green apples, Jif peanut butter, kale, salad, watermelon, lemons, grapefruit, and hard-boiled eggs. I drink water, not soft drinks or soda--I do make an organic lemon-pineapple juice and add ginger and tumeric. Salmon, broccoli, tuna, rotisserie chicken, stewed turkey. That's it!

Hi Tony, thanks for turning in here. I definitely get it on the avocados. It took some getting used to for me and there are certain foods that I frankly make myself eat… Lol.
