Word of advice Alex, never let your fuel level go past 1/4 always trip plan of where you're going to fuel. Never guesstimate the next fuel stop. Plus it's bad for your fuel filters
10:31 should’ve parked forward against the wall. That way when the other guy leaves, you can swing in and get his dock.

@@jackkonings5856 Jealous! Being 24 in 2024 is a big deal...lots of technology and medical advances. Something @truckinfam2207 didn't have in 1977. I am 37 but feel like am 25.
I'm not sure why age is relevant on the thumbnail, or title. Age would be relevant if he was 16 or 80+. But what's the point of saying you're 24? I would assume a great deal of drivers are around that age.

Check engine light is probably for injectors. Paccar engines are known for that in there new trucks
I was that age when I first started trucking back in 2000. I was using maps to get around before gps.
I just drove 621 miles today. 10 hours and 14 mins of driving and I click on this video to watch Alex drive for 15 mins... What's wrong with me. Haha

He does it to himself that's the thing. Was watching him for awhile and he hasn't gotten better at all. He still makes common mistakes, he trusts the GPS WAY too much, he complains about everything and worst of all he is overly cautious to the absolute extreme. Of course he was on the news. Well, the company gave him a new truck and made an entire video about him being a trucker. So clearly, he's not a bad trucker, some truckers have bad days. No one is perfect

Its just a sensor most trucks have them come on for no reason.....as long as it has proper fluids and no def issues, itll be fine.....also Cummins are notorious for bad sensors...

If you follow him , he says frequently he is a loaner and have nothing to go back home to, and he wanted to live out of a van and travel all the states , but instead chose trucking so he prefers this lifestyle

Do truckers have a bathroom in their trucks? Also, if a trucker gets ill, do they call in and the assignment due can get lengthened? How does all that work?
Some drivers have an emergency bucket. Technically a trucker will get shutdown by DOT if they look to be ill, but I am sure most drivers keep on trucking
No most trucks don't have a bathroom, with GP if we are ill and don't feel safe to drive we let the company know and they get it taken care of with either a reschedule or if another driver can relay it and deliver
@bovandiver9588 there has to be an innovative way that will incorporate restrooms within trucks, for a truckers safety. I'm sure this has passed someone's mind
