My wife's family is from western NY and somehow related to the Fox family, cousins of her grandmother or something. We have some silverware somewhere with an "F" engraved on it. I've always been interested in this stuff anyway. We drove by Lily Dale one time, but didn't go in because there's a gatehouse.
Summer season in Lilydale and there is a gate fee only during the summers.
Thank you. I have read all your books and appreciate your videos.
Thank you for your support!
I had of the “rapping” but didn’t know much about it. Very interesting. Too bad that the “art of the swindle” seems always to be with us. Thanks
Fascinating! I'd heard about the sisters' toe routine, but it was great to learn about the movement as a whole. It's downright terrifying how easily millions of people can be deceived by simple conjurer's tricks!
So sad that conning people has been around for so long, but thank you for the education on it!
I have no idea why this video ended up in my feed but I'm glad it did. Commenting to feed the algorithm
Thank you for your support! :)
Thank you Sarah. I didn't know anything about the spiritualists. This was very interesting!
Ohh this was interesting!
Your Kitty Cat was almost upstaging you with their antics. They were cute, and thank for that interesting history lesson.
Thank you! I always learn something interesting on your channel.
A very interesting topic. I enjoy your books so much!
That was very interesting. I always knew it was the people you have to watch closer.
Another great video!
One of the factors that gave rise to the movement in the US was the collective trauma of the Civil War. (but I suspect you know this already). The whole obsession of the era with death is fascinating.
So cool, Sarah!! Which book of yours, tales of cheztsamoka has supernatural elements? Also I know some information about spiritualism in the Victorian times, particularly before and after the civil war. Plus seances were popular too. Among the people I know indulge in this is Sarah Winchester and Sarah Helen Whitman.

What is the name of the museum? It looks interesting
Like a lot of my videos, this one contains footage shot over the course of about seven years: it comes from five different museums (in two different time zones), the Iowa state library, my house, and a rural cemetery.
Is she a young woman who looks old or an old woman who looks young?
In another video, she says that she has been married for 19 years
Great video! Thank you soo much for sharing! 🙏🏽🌸🌞
