Just got the game and am in CH 4. I’m currently running the glaive blade with baton bottom which seems to work well. I’ll have to try the wrench head out but I like having the extra range on the glaive. Great content!
I've been using it since my first race. No other weapon comes close to its damage, I have countless weapons at maximum level and I made all the combinations. 6 playthrus down here: actual best weapon combo for electric blitz is circular saw on the electric baton handle. You lose generate, but the saw blade is just all around superior. As for the other elements, the black steel cutter blade/handle is excellent as is, but if you prefer range at the expense of speed, you can use the electric saw handle with the black steel blade for a hilariously long polearm. For motivity builds, I much prefer coil Mjolnir to the wrench. It allows you to equip stagger grindstone, so you get elemental damage and even more stagger. You can use this on the police baton handle, or, when you reach NG+ and beyond, the far superior option is to use the dancer's curved sword handle with any of the elemental buff weapons (mjolnir, exploding pickaxe, and acid sword). The dancer's curved sword is primarily a technique weapon, but once you soft-cap your motivity scaling, this handle actually has the single best split scaling of any hand in the game of a non-boss weapon (C/B). You can put a motivity crank on it to make it B/C, but once you roughly even out your stats, it literally doesn't matter. My motivity build is no NG++ with 60 of each motivity and technique, and these 3 combos hit like an absolute truck, and have good range, as the dancer's curved sword has a nice forward leap with the charged heavies (not quite as good as the booster glaive, but close, and it comes out faster and has a 2-hit combo, which in my experience seems to deal much more damage and also apply the elemental effect faster), and relatively quick basic attacks, given how heavy the "blades" are. You also benefit from the fact that you can get any of the 3 elemental bonuses without the grindstone, meaning you can opt for even more utility (I usually prefer increased stagger, as previously mentioned, but perfect guard would also be fine against Nameless or Laxasia, especially at the start of phase 2). edit: just learned that for some inexplicable reason, grindstones don't actually stack with the mjolnir/exploding pickaxe/acid sword fable art elemental buff. Which makes 0% sense, given that the perfection grindstone and the grind fable absolutely DO stack...
Hey man you know Lies of P. Are u still playing? I'm on NG+ Area 9 as 40/40 Tech/Adv and was wondering if I switch to a 30/30/30 balance build plus any weapons you recommend? More in the motivity range since I have used most Adv and Tech weapons, want some big damage build. Thanks
@@TheEru88 aight, this gets complicated. If you're using an adv handle (which you should be), pump to 50. Iirc, that's when the returns become pretty dismal. Adv builds struggle a bit in the late NG+ and early NG++ because of the poor return on investment due to split scaling, so your goal should be to mitigate that as best as possible. Once you hit NG+++, and start nearing the hard caps, the damage on advance build starts to outscale because you have a 3rd stat to pump. I would prioritize using the S-scaling adv handles until you can no longer justify putting points into advance (50-60 or so). At that point, you have choices to make, as your damage stagnates a lot. What I did for my NG++ run was put adv cranks on nonelemental handles with better movesets (booster glaive is great for circular saw and black steel cutter can also use it or the dancer's curved sword handle, and city longspear is actually incredible with acidic spear blade). This will hurt your elemental damage a bit, but given the better movesets and mot/tec scaling boosts, you will likely be better off. By the time you are sitting at like 60+ in all 3 damage stats, it's time to go back to adv handles, HOWEVER do not use the S-scaling ones. You want the ones that had B-scaling (A when upgraded) in adv so that you also have either motivity or technique rating of C to max your dps. Electric baton handle + circular saw, acidic curved sword handle + black steel cutter blade are the best, imo. Acid options are lacking, because the acidic crystal axe blows. I actually kept the city longspear + acid spear combo for the range, but the base acid spear is still good.
@@NPC_maga First makes sense with it gets harder cause I'm kinda soft cap. After getting ever boss first try. Pro tip: booster glaive handle + black steel cutter blade will give you an amazing technique scaling + inherent fire damage and long range for a melee weapon. You dont need to buff it always does fire
Bone cutting saw + brambke curved sword handle just finished getting me through my first playthrough. I kept trying all kind of combos, but i just kept coming back to it, because it was just so strong, the fable arts were both great, and that charged heavy feels like it jumps a mile, and even flinches most elite enemies.
My personal favorite weapon combo is currently the heavy blade you get at the start of the game if you choose the strength build with the booster glaive handle. With both it makes it a Dex weapon so you can just spend the lvls later to make your character have a Dex build or simply put a motivity crank on it.
A great tech/advance combo especially for early game is the electric coil head on the slander dagger handle, gives you very fast, blunt electric damage only downside is fairly short range.
My favorite combo is the screwdriver head+blind man spear handle, has decent damage, crit chance, blocks on heavy attacks so you can defend, heal, and attack at the same time, its buffable, and i don't know if its just luck but it tends to get perfect block more often when using heavy attacks so its pretty safe to spam as long as you're mindful of your stamina, and this also means it works well with the hand of god and conquering amulets
City Longspear handle + Tyrant murderer's Dagger blade Both fable arts cost one gauge, one of them increases critical hit chance (which is ALREADY present thanks to the blade), and the other increases damage The DPS is godlike, and the only downside is low staggering potential

I love the puppet sword blade with the salamander handle. I also enjoy the glaive handle with dancing curved greatsword. I also use the Salamander dagger on the spear you mentioned quite a bit. how did you get short grey hair?
I used the wrench head and the baton handle as my primary weapon for a motivity build my first playthrough and you're pretty much a walking delete button with it. It shreds boss healthbars
I use the electric coil head with the military shovel handle. Can use generate for the head and also increase range and damage with the handle, the charge heavy is a double hit posture smasher, and normal heavy is a decent poke. Puppets don't like it one bit , it's simple but it works
I have been using Booster Glaive + Great Sword Blade along with puppet string and they work so well! Nothing fancy just your basic stuff but it actually slaps. The range is massive and with maxed out puppet string+fable art combo you can kill the minibosses before they even understand what's happening lol
Same here! The charged R2 has great range and one-shots most normal enemies. Those that survive usually get stunned so you can back up again or go to town on them.
I still can’t find one better than Greatsword of Fate blade with Wintry Rapier Handle. It’s fast, easy to use and has a long reach. I thought I would switch to Dancers but this weapon is just too good.
Yo Id just like to say, that for a technique build the Tyrant Murder's Dagger Blade + City Longspear Handle is a pretty fast and heavy damage combo if you put some stuff into fable art effect duration perks in the p organ stats, especially if you add the crit chance grindstone.
I don't even notice the lack of range on the wrench head/Baton combo. You get used to positioning pretty quickly once you see how effective the charged heavies are. If you build for heavy attacks and stagger windows, it's probably the most OP set up in the game. Again the range might be an issue for those used to longer weapons, but you don't need that crutch anyway. :)
Been using the booster glaive handle and Bone cutting saw for my first playthrough and it carries, having rang, a sweeping attack, a good charged, fully charged attack to close the gap and do good damage not the mention the fable arts go crazy but seeing the live puppet ax on there makes me wanna give it a shot lmao.
I figured all these out of my own and my favorite is the acidic dagger ,not fire, and the acidic spear, for pre organic and the dancers sword handle with the bone cutter for puppets
fire greatsword + acid greatsword handle acid mace + circular handle bone cutting + dancer handle and i like to combine the dual handed physical damage blades/heads with the cursed knight handle
I don’t think it’s particularly busted, but my personal favorite is Bramble Curved Sword head with the Exploding Pickaxe handle. It just lets you chain charged attacks with ease.
The city long spear + wintry rapier is OP.max outthe rapier if you can 😮The quickest jab you can get and most distance you can cover. Its good for fighting on ledges and tight spaces.
Have you considered Live puppet axe + police baton? I just finished my first play through and used that, and breezed through the game. It felt like all the good things of the wrench but with more range and more base damage.
In my second playthrough I've been swapping the bramble handle with the saw and the live puppet blades, but I can't really make my mind in which one I like the most. What do you think? Live puppet sure has more damage, but the saw feels a little lighter and faster.
I know I'm late but I was happy to see bonesaw with bramble as that was a weapon I made myself. I also was thinking of dancer handle? What are yalls thoughts?
Take the Electric coil handle & salamander dagger plus I believe I put a motility crank on the handle it’s like a light saber when u pop the fable and do a running attack than pop the fable it does a powerful slam looks cool to I use it and fun to use
I know its stats are mid, but having a hard time getting away from the wrench + glaive handle for reach. Tried the baton but the reach let me down so many times, while the glaive handle is more forgiving in terms of being outside of where mobs usually take initiative over you.
Disclaimer: this is my first souls like game that I've put any significant time into and i went into this game completely blind. Only just now after beating victor did i start watching videos on it. So don't flame me for not knowing anything becasue, well, i don't Sword dancer's handle + great sword of fate blade. It has good reach with lunge step slashing attacks that come off very quick. And the charged attack has two strikes with the last one putting enemies into fatal attack. So even if you miss the first one the second will still put them in the fatal attack state. I use this to my advantage because you can start the charge as the enemy approaches you. You miss the first strike and they'll walk into the second and go into fatal attack state. With the relatively high attack speed you can get a few hits in before performing the fatal attack. I've yet to try and push my luck with how many i can get off exactly but the most I'll do is 4.
Am I just boring for doing my entire first play through with the starting "Greatsword"? lol I love that weapon and that perfect guard fable ability is IMO super clutch during some boss fights.

Piston Handle and Baton. The Penetrator.
Any Dagger Handle plus the Baton. The Pleasure Master 3000
The electric coil head and handle come together 😆
In my second playthrough I've been swapping the bramble handle with the saw and the live puppet blades, but I can't really make my mind in which one I like the most. What do you think? Live puppet sure has more damage, but the saw feels a little lighter and faster.
I know I'm late but I was happy to see bonesaw with bramble as that was a weapon I made myself. I also was thinking of dancer handle? What are yalls thoughts?
Exploding Pickaxe + Booster Glaive is just God tier
Where did you find the bone cutting saw, and bramble handle?
My favorite weapon combo is Rapier of Winter head + Crystal Acid Spear handle it looks cool😎
Live puppet blade and the handle of the chef’s knife is my go to weapon
Take the Electric coil handle & salamander dagger plus I believe I put a motility crank on the handle it’s like a light saber when u pop the fable and do a running attack than pop the fable it does a powerful slam looks cool to I use it and fun to use
Try out the coil mjonir hammer +with the clock sword handle it gives the glowy red arm animation that increases attack power.
Murderer's dagger + acid spear handle. Its my first playtrough, is this combo any good?
How about Wintry Rapier's Handle + ELECTRIC COIL STICK HEAD ?
I know its stats are mid, but having a hard time getting away from the wrench + glaive handle for reach. Tried the baton but the reach let me down so many times, while the glaive handle is more forgiving in terms of being outside of where mobs usually take initiative over you.
Good video!
my fav is the live puppet blade and the booster handle
Booster glaive handle and salamander blade goes crazy ngl
hi do you have list for top 5 fun weapon combo, i dont really care about strength just looking for something fun or cool
my fav combo was booster handle + bone cutting saw
got me through most of the game
The saw blade with strength and stagger everything
Big Pipe Wrench + Booster Glavie Handle
Good for damge and stuff
Booster handle and Dancer Blade. It has range/ attack power and its light weight!!
Disclaimer: this is my first souls like game that I've put any significant time into and i went into this game completely blind. Only just now after beating victor did i start watching videos on it. So don't flame me for not knowing anything becasue, well, i don't
Sword dancer's handle + great sword of fate blade.
How are you jumping up in the air and attacking them from above like that?
The puppet string arm 👍 one of the upgrades lets you attack in the air
@@ColdBwoyywonderful okay thank you for responding I’ll definitely be using that
is the final upgrade of the string arm
I love puppet axe with exploding pickaxe handel
how do you do those combos? what are key combinations?
My favorite is the brambleblade and the exploding pickaxe handle
Circular saw + pistal rock drill handle = bloodborne cutter, literally same heavy, and does continuous lighting damage
For a sec I was like, wait this guy sounds like the same guy I got my Elden Ring build from.. turns out IT IS THE SAME GUY! ❤
Thanks for supporting the channel 🙏🏻
@@ColdBwoyy Happily! I love your content and reference it often.
Tyrant murderer dagger + city longspear handle.
Broken af
Im doing a technique build and used the rapier blade with the salamander dager handle
Am I just boring for doing my entire first play through with the starting "Greatsword"? lol
I love that weapon and that perfect guard fable ability is IMO super clutch during some boss fights.
live puppet handle and wrench go clunk smash!
Fire axe handle with electric chainsaw is basically a better fire axe but with scaling eletric damage
Ive been using the electric boom stick since i bought it lol
I’ve been using Glaive Blade with the Saber handle. Very solid.
Which one is the best for nameless puppet
Bone cutting sawblade + coil mjolnir handle
Mjolnir head + booster glaive handle
Ranged bonk
Is it crazy to think the bone cutter saw with police baton handle is super OP?
Funny thing that I sold all these weapons 😁😁
Giant saw blade with police baton handle is OP
nuh uh,live puppets axe and bramble sword handle, straight up stupid
Geatsword of fate + Master Chef's knife handle
Booster glave and bone cuting saw
Puppet axe and bramble curved sword handle works for me
I'm running wrench head and baton handle, amazing dmg
although the lame scalings, curved sword handle for me is the best moveset in the game
Mine is the acidic sword + the bramble handle
Bone cutting saw blade + Bramble curved sword handle 🤌
