"Oh! Oh-Oh! Come on! C'mon c'mon c'mon! HOT! What a hot beat! AWWWW YEAH! YAHOO! WHOOHOOO!"
Best zelda comment!❤
Bring on the beats brother! Let those Goron hips roll! Lmao
Love that part xD
Magnifique 😂
Always wondered how an ocarina could create a hot beat but NOW I KNOW
Taking the wrong turn wouldn't be so frustrating if the music sounded this clean.
you can see a faint white light in the tunnels that will warp you
😂
If you are lost in Lost Woods, you lost the light of childhood.
Actually tho
Very good
As a oboist I am finally happy to see the oboe in the thumbnail. It is such a unknown instrument but very distinct in certain ensembles due to it's unique sound.
I play the oboe as well😁
I think oboe is so cool. I've been trying to learn it recently. It's just so hard are people who play it are very talented.
If I didn't pick up flute back then, I have been a Oboist today.
@rhynemusic4101 I mean, i play flute aswell so it's never too late to pick up a 2nd instrument
yess
I'm so glad to the see the recorder featured in this song. It helps raise its reputation of being a children's instrument.
Also what model is your soprano recorder? It seems to be a moeck but the exact model would be great to know, it sounds lovely :)

@@jhonviel7381 What does that even mean?
@@RetroJack No idea. Maybe he does?
@@InkByt3 Well, if so, then that's at least one of us! 😁
Great arrangement!
Thank you Alina! 😭♥
Ого, привет Алина!
Damm you are better than me I was Attempt to play it with my alto saxophone 😂😂😂
oh shit, Alina what you doin here!
I totally agree
i love how whimsical and carefree this song is
Yes!!!, 1 of my favorites. 😃
Me too, It is so whimsical!
This is the Lost Woods as it was always meant to sound. Koji Kondo would be proud! Very nice.
he would be proud. Nintendo wouldn't.
Love it! So uplifting!
JOE
OMG JOE COMMENTED
Thanks Joe! Loved your kids show themes vid you just released ☺️
You should have joined
You!
I love how true to the original this is and at the same time it adds a lot of depth with the original instruments. I think the bassoon especially gives it a nice dynamic range. I would prefer if it didn't loop so many times, or had a bit of a narrative arc to it. I love how restrained the sound is, like every sound is intentional. I think that serves the arrangement very well.
It’s like being re-introduced to an old dear friend
Luke, you really are remarkable, taking on all of these challenges with all of these instruments. The oboe is harder to play well than people realize, and if it comes easy to some, they’re just lucky. Many can sound the instrument but few actually have the ability to make it sing, which is what it is intended to do , not shriek, which many do. You have my respect. And yes, I play oboe.
oboe is a tricky one for sure!
I was astonished the first time I heard oboe played well. Such a beautiful sound! Unfortunately the oboist thought I meant they were bad when I said this to a friend and looked daggers at me. I avoided them for the rest of the weekend in embarrassment 😳
@@InstrumentManiac love the cover but i would of loved if the part was played with a Clarinet and the recorder in opinion I think it would of sounded a lot better but that's just me being biased towards the clarinet but respect for the oboe because it is hard to play and I'm already happy with my clarinet and flute.
I also love the field of hopes and dreams cover i have been listening to it alot plus Hip Shop.
Edit when i get my allowance im signing up to your patreon for some help on some Tears of the kingdom music plus i would love to get ahold of your music sheets.
Once my relative who is playing in orchestra let me play her oboe, and it was much, MUCH harder than i thought, because i just didn't have enough air in my lights to play it for a while! Just how do people play these?!
@@Bot-vl7ppthe original used oboe lmao
this man is the musician all our parent wanted us to be.
God...I hear this song and I'm back in the Ocarina of Time...what a game. Beautiful arrangement!

That basoon caught me so off guard holy cow. The noise actually startled me! Your covers are legitimately just so wonderful. Thank you for making these. I'm sure you love to do it, and make them for that love... but seriously. You are so incredibly skilled at what you do. I never cease to smile when one of your songs plays
Haha sorry to startle you! Thank YOU for listening to these, ppl like you keep me doing this crazy muisc thing 😊

F A B, F A B, F A B E D, Lord I love this song, I have learned it on all instruments I have.
As a bassoonist I can appreciate the tone in your bassoon skills. People tend to underestimate how good the bassoon is at what it does. It’s nice to hear it blend the music in such a magical way. I wish the bassoon would get more recognition.
Isn’t it just a chonkier oboe? Can an oboe player learn it easier than someone starting from a different instrument? Or am I tripping?
@@triden1172 The fingering for the notes is a whole lot more funky than the oboe. I personally have never tried playing the oboe but from what I have heard from one of my colleagues who plays the oboe, the bassoon made no sense to them. I don’t know if it would be the same for everyone it’s just what I’ve been told.
@triden1172 from my memory (I used to play bassoon) transitioning to bassoon from an oboe is not like say...going from a clarinet to a bass clarinet. It's a whole different thing. Maybe you're thinking oboe to English horn? Not sure since I already was 1 of 1 playing the bassoon at my school and nobody played English horn. There were a few oboe players tho
Wow, and right when I’m getting into Ocarina of Time! An awesome arrangement, but honestly the additional instruments really floored me. That piccolo was genius, rounding out the woodwinds and giving us that fun tinkly sound that almost feels reminiscent of the fairies, and the accordion quietly bolstering the oboe’s melody was such a unique addition! Love your stuff as always, man!
Edit: also I would love to hear your take on the Fairy Fountain Theme, people tend to cover it in very similar ways so seeing how you decide to add to it would be amazing (unrelated but it’s always reminded me of that one part in the middle of Claire de Lune)
Good ears Jess for picking out all those lil nuances! Those are exactly the thoughts I had when putting together the arrangement 😊
And fairy fountain for sure! Definitely on the short list 💙

Wow this was amazing. Every second had a different melody or instrument that kept me engaged. So much packed into just 2 minutes. I need an extended version.

I love Ocarina of Time so much and this is such a beautiful and tranquil cover! I love how you incorporate different instruments and explain their usage, it's both entertaining and educational :)
I love this song as it is, but with my favorite RUclips musician I know it'll be spectacular

bro this brings my childhood all togheter
I love the editing showing each added instrument! It really doesn't let you forget each supporting instrument under the melody.
I was just going to comment the same thing - it both highlights I.M.'s hard work and adds to the wonderful wonderful sense of musical ASMR he creates!
🥲❤️
The most accurate remake of the song. Good job!!
It's amazing how many instruments are required to capture the magic that was is the Lost Woods theme.
It’s so cool to see you bring out other instruments. Usually you only play a few in a video but I love it when you bring in rare ones like bassoon and mandolin. It sounds so good!
bassoon works so well with these zelda covers
I love how your covers always manage to keep the essence of the song together with your particular touch

If there's ever another OoT movie, I want this to be part of the soundtrack.
Thank you so much for carrying this tune into our presence and preserving it so well.

I’ve never heard such a well-integrated orchestration of this melody - the blending of your choice of woodwinds is masterful.
Thanks dude! OOT music has a special place in my heart! Was getting massive goosebumps listening to you!
This took me right back to childhood. So many good vibes from this arrangement. Bravo! 😭
Some say that he's still lost playing in the musical forest to this very day
This was frickin amazing dude! GREAT JOB!!!
Great arrangement! It sounds so much like the original! I also love that the Bassoon is getting so much screen time!
The passion that you have for not only your craft but recreating this classic tune is amazing . Well done dude !
thanks Jacob!
Day 3 asking for Hollow Knight ost
A Hornet cover or a Mantis Lords cover would be historic
Yes please
That would be very cool
Lace🤌🏻
I'm ready to hear an amazing cover of this song 👍❤
The oboe and bassoon goes so hard 😭
This gives me so much of "The Legend of Zelda Link's Awakening" (the remake of course) vibes from the choice of instruments, and i love it!!
i don't even know how to say this well, but i mean it in the kindest way i possibly can - your music is so autismically perfect. it is a really vast and kind sensory experience and it is exactly what my brain needs. thank you so much
That makes me so happy to hear! 🥹🎵
as a certified autism haver, 100% agreed.
@@planet_person9753 my autism is high fiving your autism
For sure. These arrangements always tickle my ear and brain in the best way
ohhhh I wasn't gonna say anything but then this comment!!! The articulation on the first line in the B section is different than I usually play it... so in that regard, my autism has found at least one problem with it. XD Seriously no offence though! I love this channel!
This is about to be FIRE 🔥🔥🔥
wowww!
This scratches my brain in a good way
That song make me so happy :)
Thanks you for this handsome adaptation ! I love it 💖✨ Great job!
Like I always say, Thank you so much Luke, that was awesome! Honestly, Saria’s Song is my only favorite song from Lost Woods/The Legend of Zelda. Like I said before, I used to have a friend named Saria.
Thank you Saif!
Reminds me of my childhood I Love It ❤
it makes me happy to see stuff like this because theres so many people who dont know about that wonderful game
Zelda fans! Don't get this song confused with the Lost Woods from BotW. Those woods are completely different.
Un deleite para los oídos, excelente canción 👍
It’s perfect…! Every little nuance, just right.
Maaan, this is amazing! I don’t get to see the bassoon on RUclips often, it was a great addition to this arrangement!
Absolutely amazing! Listening to this while doing my homework
I really liked Gerudo Valley. I have no doubt that it will be an amazing cover of Zelda!
I had to send this to my 30 year old son for his birthday! GREAT!
Thank you for bringing Koji Kondo's music to life! Sounds great
You have no idea how long have I waited for your interpretation of Lost Woods. The day has finally come and you certainly have not disppointed, far form it, you exceeded our expectations. This is my most favorite piece of videogame music and I am really glad that this version exists. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Luke.
Ahh thank you for listening Ricardo!
A masterpiece. Again and again!
each repeat containing a new instruement makes this so exciting to watch lol. Love the use of the finger roll on a snare drum
"The flow of time is always cruel... Its speed seems different for each person, but no one can change it... A thing that doesn't change with time is a memory of younger days...
This song will always stick with me until the end of time
Simplesmente perfeito!
I'm so happy you are doing more Zelda music now!! keep it up :)
Brings back great memories.
the bassoon and english horn are like my favourite sound. the clarinet comes close after.
I Like The English Horn As My Favorite Oboe
i immediately smiled
that's a really nice tone on that recorder!
edit: i just wish we got more than 21 frames of it at a time! it's so hard to track what your fingers are doing when i get less than a second to see!
This song looks just as much fun to play as it is to listen to.
I love the bassoon❤
Me Too
De las mejores canciones y de los mejores covers de esta hermosa canción
I love it!!!
My childhood summed up in one song thank you.
This theme is a huge old classic!
О Мой Бог!!!
Это шикарно!!!❤❤❤

5 días esperando a que salga y valió completamente la pena, QUE HERMOSO HERMANO!!!!
My absolute favourite song from any zelda game
This is my go whistle song at work. Been stuck on this song for years.
Vale a pena vc esperar, pra vc escutar essa bela obra, muito bom. Parabéns.👏👏👏❤️❤️
NICE 👍👍
That bassoon warms my heart
Wow the mandolin playing is so well mixed, it's such as subtle addition, love it.
OMG, if you are keeping with the Legend of Zelda's songs, please consider doing the Song of Storm and the Dragon Roost Island theme.
And as always, thank you for those fantastic covers!
Thanks Astor! those are both near the top of the list for future ones actually 😂
@@InstrumentManiac haha you have excellent taste (which is not even into question seeing your content 😉). My only disappointment was that this song won over the dark world theme in the pole. I hope you still plan to do it at some point (a jazzy version would be super neat)
Of all of the instruments you played, I think your best one was eyebrows.
👀👀👀
I don’t hear oboe enough. What a beautiful reed sound
Let me just congratulate on not only your excellent arrangement and playing, but how cleanly this is mixed! So well balanced, great job!
Please Hollow Knight OST...
I've been listening to it recently... so good!
@@InstrumentManiac :)
That marching band snare roll instantly got my hackles up because I'm so used to it being from the OoT/MM enemy music. Just chilling here bopping along to my Lost Woods jam and then OH NO, ENEMIES
Goosebumps.... that is so beautiful....
Tenor sax to the one! Electric bass to the one!
Always a delight to see how you add depth in instrumentation, even to a simple piece like this. You really showcase your ability to know just the right instruments to use without going over the top. It sounds so clean and so rich every time. Keep up the great work!
Best Lost Woods cover I've ever heard, cheers bro! That' was really amazing.
Loved the little harmonics
Marvellous performance. I forgot how beautiful orchestral music can be.
I love this! It's 1:1 With the percussion and separate instruments. You nailed it!!!
this is completely flawless
That was really pleasant :) "Lost Woods" is one of my overall favourite overture themes from the LoZ franchise, and this was just perfectly executed!
I found your channel recently, I'm already a subscriber, your channel is very, very good, these songs bring happiness, sometimes peace, and I wanted to be like you, I wanted to learn how to play all the instructions.
Look at all those different varieties of trumpet!
the bassoon was a primary instrument in the OST. I havent found a cover with one. THANK YOU for bringing it into the cover.
This pays homage to the classic! No muss, no fuss
Make a full version of this, I loooove the arrangement you made of this! So beautiful and whimsical and fun!
This song brings back sooooooooo many pleasant childhood memories 😊
