- Hi everyone
Guess what, Fay’s back! Like Andrea, Fay and I see each other a lot and eat together so we see each other without masks a lot and she’s in my bubble. That’s why I’m not wearing a mask in this video. If you work in a salon then please wear a mask.
We’re going to start by sanitising and then removing the crystals, I’m then going to use my electric file to remove the Acrygel and Top Coat from the nail and thin the back to help with adhesion for the new acrylic. I’ll then use a tapered bit to push back and exfoliate the cuticles. To prep the natural nail, I’m using a sanding band but you can use a 240 grit file.
I’m going to prep and dehydrate the nail before applying a really thin layer of Clear Acrylic and then extend the design of each nail over the regrowth. I’m also going to rebalance the apex at the same time - you could also do the design and then cap with clear. I’m going to refine the shape of the acrylic with my e-file and a hand file.

We totally understand that Fay is family you don’t need to wear PPE when doing her nails♥️ I am a nurse in the US and I don’t wear masks when I am with those people in my bubble either. But I do when working, shopping and such. I protect others and myself to help this be over sooner. Thanks for having videos for us to pass the time too! Thanks Fay and Adam too♥️♥️

Watching Kirsty remove the crystals from Fay's nails _almost_ hurt *me!* Someday when I'm a bit more financially stable than I am right now, I'm going to send a package to Adam. Lots of grape flavored stuff for Adam and a gift for Kirsty, too-- a special crystal removal tool that was _designed for that purpose._ I have one and it works really well! My Dad always told me to "Use the proper tool for the job!" It's not made by Naio, so the odds are we won't ever see it in videos, at least until Naio creates their own version, but it really would help Kirsty and her handful of clients a LOT!
As far as I can tell, Covid 19 hasn't figured out how to infect people through the WiFi, so don't worry about us! Love you, Fay, and your creativity!
Love that you guys discuss the Covid and everything that goes along with it. Wishing that the US was a bit more stringent about things since our numbers are on the rise again.

Same. We need a national mask mandate. States rights, yada, yada, but sometimes you have to do what is right and act as a WHOLE, not as fifty individuals running in different directions (for instance my count had *30* cases right up to the end of lockdown, when ONE person came to our area and bumped the number to 150 in a weekend
I personally soo over it being in California and still lock down and no Halloween, no thanksgiving, probably no Christmas. I couldn’t do much of a birthday for any of my kids. It’s really doing a number on my family mentally.
@@littleblueorchid So glad we're in WV. I have friends in CA and I feel for you. My county was the last county in the the last state to get it but we're still doing well. Our restaurants opened on my birthday in June and it was awesome. Our county only got cases a few weeks ago but so far everyone has been alright.
Stringent or not - it’s the people who aren’t following the recommendations that are causing the spread. People who are still holding parties. People who use “medical reasons” as an excuse (not talking about the ones who truly have them) for not wearing a mask. People who refuse to stay home when they aren’t feeling well etc.
Suicides and mental health have risen since all of this and I think an actual lockdown would make those numbers far higher.
If people would stop being selfish ass-hats and only go out when they need to, stop having parties, stay home when sick and actually wash and sanitize their hands - it wouldn’t be this bad.
I work at a convenience store (more of a small grocery store than your standard convenience store) and when we were advised to go out only when needed, I had people coming in everyday for beer.
Oh yeah, alcoholism and substance abuse in general has risen too.

Where I live everything is closed by 8pm, face masks are mandatory, restaurants are open but only a small number of ppl inside. A lot of ppl aren't wearing face masks either. I stay in my safe bubble with my family. Better safe than sorry, I always say. Love these videos, Fay is sooo amazing. Yall have a great time and its really fun to watch. 😅🥰💖
I’m disabled, so I rarely leave my bubble, but it's also for the safety if others, I would just be slapping people upside the head until they put a mask in (I am als high risk so it's important to me not just as the right thing to do, but they are actively putting me at risk).
Thankfully, everyone in my bubble wears a mask (my roommate butches, but she still does it because A. Lives with me and B. RIGHT THING TO DO).

I am obsessed with those chrome flakes, they're so pretty! And I totally agree with Fay, doing cuticle care with an e-file has been a complete game changer for me. Just being able to really buff down the skin around my nails has made them look SO much better. Can't wait to see what these look like finished!
Oh, and I watched Adam's Rode Reel film and it was really good! I watched a bunch of the other comedy entries (not all, though, there were way too many!) and was able to vote for Adam's in good faith. I really did enjoy it most out of all the ones I watched. Good job Adam!!

To be honest you have a very weak bubble, if a bubble at all. Because unless Faye and your other friend live alone and contact no one, they are breaking your bubble. A bubble consist of a group who are only in contact with each other only. But that being said, you are being so much more careful than a lot of people and I give you huge props for that
Yeah, it's a bit like those old STD warning adverts. You're not only sleeping with that one person, but also sleeping with everyone they slept with. But Kirsty defiantly seems to be more careful & conscious of covid safety than a lot of people.

Current guidelines for Stoke as of today (it’s in Tier 1): You can meet in a group of up to six people from multiple households. This includes children and applies indoors and outdoors, including private homes. There are exceptions, for example if your household or support bubble is larger than six. Meeting in larger groups (with certain exceptions) is against the law, with fines up to £6,400.
So Kirsty and Fay’s arrangement is fine.
Yes, you never get waxing or anything a week before your period or on because its more painful for sure. Nippers, you can get them sharpened. However, I use them the dull ones for this as well.
I absolutely love your videos and and it inspired me to get qualified and I do many of your designs on my own nails 😃🤣 I would like to say to just be careful doing videos as a registered care manager a have to keep up on the guidelines. as from September we can not visit others in their homes, a bubble is your immediate family who live under the same roof as you, you can add a single adult household to this bubble but only if it does not exceed 6 people. Fay does not count as a single adult household as she has a husband so should not be visiting your home. But we can meet in the pub, crazy 😜 keep safe all and keep up the great videos 😀

Currently in south africa. We're on level one. We went from jo 5 in the list to 10, so our numbers r definitely dwindling, but there cud b a 2nd wave bcoz the Christmas season is approaching and it's almost summer here, places r open and everyone is so over the lockdown here. We've been on lockdown since end of march, masks are mandatory in every public space, we hv screening at shops, churches gyms basically everywhere u go as u enter ur temp is taken and ur hands are sanitized. I hope u keep safe and healthy.

I feel like we need to tighten things down again here in Michigan, USA. Too many relaxing their guard and our cases are rising. I'm a hairdresser and it's scary. I've got to trust clients are being safe outside of our appointment. We have alot of mask pushback from Trump supporters and we just refuse service or simply explain we are trying to keep working and we can't keep any distance. So it's either wear the mask covering nose and mouth or no services.

My nails always lift after a week and a half to two weeks. I am an artist so I’m a little rough on them but there has to be a way to make them last longer. Can you suggest anything???? Love your work so much

Can you use the crystals again after removing them from the nails or do you throw them away? Some looking so shiny and in best shape I would cry if I had to put them away.
I reuse them on myself or when I make Christmas cards or Birthday cards I stick them on there! 💖💅🌸🇿🇦
In a professional environment no due to hygiene I know some places have set zip lock bag with name on of regular customers with there set tools like file brush etc

The whole bubble thing though....when you read the rules on the nhs track and trace app.....You’re only allowed a bubble if you’re on your own....so example you Kirsty I’m guessing it’s just you and the girls who live at home ....therefore by Rights you are allowed to form a bubble with one other household. But only one. Like we can’t go in and out of my mam and dads and vice Versa cause I’m not on my own I live with my husband and out kids....but my grandma is on her own so she can form a support bubble with only one other household.
With regards to the mask thing....if someone is in your bubble then I would say yeah don’t wear one but by rights you should only have a bubble with one other household. xx

Im in Victoria Australia and we are in stage 4 lockdown and we arnt allowed to travel more than 5km from home excet if you have a work permit we arnt allowed anyone in our homes and no nail salons are open we have been in this lockdown since may we have to wear masks only petrol stations and supermarkets are open
