I honesty love when they file the nails manually instead of using a drill. Filing is more relaxing and enjoyable but very time consuming. I have only found one salon where I live that only does that every other salon will use a drill and sometimes it burns cause they’re rough. Tho I have since found a place that does it gently but I stopped getting my nails did cause it’s too expensive 😢
when you mentioned she was an art teacher I understood her style soo much more. I kept looking at her do the nails and I kept thinking her technique felt familiar haha.
I don’t wear artificial nails, but I would DEFINITELY try something similar on my natural nails (for a vacation or wedding). It’s not practical for everday life, but it is absolutely stunning. 💅☺️
That's sucha clever idea to press the nail tip edge down with the flashlight and then curing! Saves so much hassle of trying to perfect it before even picking up the light!!
I actually also use jewelry for my nails and would recommend it to everyone since you have even more options in terms of design and style and size as well!
Are you able to reuse pieces? That's the first thing that came to mind when she was customizing the jewelry to fit on the nail--if she's doing that for each customer it seems super wasteful to use jewelry that would otherwise have a much longer lifespan.
@@mollyapteros I am not a nail tech so I just use them for myself but yes I reuse them as best as I can. If you coat the metal parts nicely they won’t tarnish ☺️ I can imagine that it would be difficult to reuse parts on clients since it can be unhygienic and in terms of cost the clients pay for the part and application so there should be no deficits
The fact the the nail tech even paid attention to the camera so that her hands wouldn’t get in the way of video is just crazy, she’s really great at her Job!!!!
I’m not sure if y’all realize this, but in I think her 3rd or 4th video in Korea she had already done these nails, one hand all blinged out and all. Meaning she filmed this video since. The Nails are drop dead Gorgeous just like you❤️
I thought you were going to say about her 3rd nail not being the proper size, nail on the ring finger was too small hopefully she didn't hurt her nail.
Those are the most beautiful nails I've ever seen! I'd love to wear a gorgeous blinged out set, but as much housework and yard work I do, I'm sure I would scratch the stones on day 1. I'll just admire hers. ❤
I know we all came for the jewels but that ombre set alone was gorgeous 😍 perfect everyday nails. I havent watched to the end yet for pricing but my personal budget wouldnt exceed $200 USD for a full set however I respect what an individual artist charges for quality work
For the work she does the price reflects that. They aren’t just good. They’re amazing. Perfect. Flawless nails! The edge is just incredible and the beautiful design is a work of art in miniature.
Nail artists really have a job that requires a lot of patience and a great eye for design. Thinking about how our studio's press on nails are all thoughtfully created by them, I really admire their dedication!!!
The ombré on its own is so perfectly done and she could’ve said I don’t have to perfect it bc it won’t be seen but she didn’t. I love people whose work is perfect each step of the way. A true artist. Worth every cent.
literally the nail artist i aspire to be!! what a clean beautiful work of art 💖😍 and thank you tina for showing the process i followed her ig for the longest and never knew how she does those type of nails 😫😍💖
I love the technique she has where she has the light ready for when the fixing gel reaches the free edge under the tips. that's so tidy and satisfying and I'll definitely be trying it
as a beginner nail tech, this is really perfect. How clean she makes them, how hygienic she is, how much she uses for the base to make it perfect, all the money she spended to make her business look perfect and professional, how much time and effort she spends in doing her clients nails. I know why she asks the prices she asks, and she knows its really worth it
I got close, I guessed $500. I’m not surprised that both hands cost 1k. The nail tech is an artist so, you can’t rush perfection and you get what you paid for. ❤ Gorgeous work!
Considering she used real jewlery and the amount of time and effort effort she put into it 300 isn‘t a bad price. And it really looks stunning, i could imagine someone getting that for their wedding or something like that.
This is the exact same method I use to do my own nails!! Same brush and everything!! (Extension part I mean. My decorations/gems/jewels are not nearly as intricate.)
These nails, her approach, her care is absolutely phenominal. This is art, and feel the price was not suprising but worth it. Absolutely meticulous application.
actually, doing one hand takes longer than doing both hands. She had to wait for each layer to cure before doing another layer. If she did both hands, she can work on the other hand while one hand is in the lamp.
My eyes are about to pop out of my head. She does the most exquisite work. I’d love to find someone half as talented as she is in the States. That being said, I would not get this type of nail service done often, maybe about once or twice a year for special functions. I’d wear my nails the way she did this BEFORE all the gems. Now if I could only find someone to do gel nails like this for me, and with the patience of a saint like this artist. Thank you so much for sharing.
They are very sturdy and the gems have been stuck on well- non of them fell off BUT my hair and clothes tend to get stuck on them. So that’s the bad thing about having 3D nails 🥲
Most korean nail artists I sub to on YT often do these beautiful long nails with 3D stone art on themselves, but I don't think there's a huge demand for those from most customers 😅 we love good corn tips with jellojello peel-off base haha Also... Swarovski nail art haul unboxing are some of my fav videos everrrrrr 💖
Absolutely stunning✨I couldn’t take enough screen shots for inspiration haha. I love watching your salon visits and are impressed how healthy your nature nails are 💗
as a person who loves doing my nails, and loves watching people do their nails, this is absolutely breathtaking. her attention to detail outmatches all other nail techs more than any other ik. I do have one question, how long did these nails stay on?
Love the results but i wonder why you did only one hand? Doesnt that feel weird? I understand the price and time, just wondering if there was a other reason too! Asking as a person who never really got her hands done 😅
Haha idk about Tina but me- on the otherhand- i love nailart so it became normal that i do different designs on both my hands. I'm right handed so my left hands would sometimes be long and detailed art while my right hand would be a simple design or sometimes just a plain solid color 😂
I was wondering the same thing why she did just one hand curious minds want to know lol🤔...very beautiful work thinking it costed several hundred dollars and looked pretty lengthy long time to do so maybe bc it was too expensive to do other hand or it takes too long to do one hand so she stopped?
Maybe cost? Since it was around 600 USD just for the one hand, so two hands would be 1200 USD. That's one mortgage payment for some people! Also, is Tina righthanded? The hand she got done is her left, if she is righthanded and had the art done on her right, maybe it would be too difficult to do a lot of tasks that require some finger dexterity lol
Question: how do you use your phone after the nail extension? I always find it super difficult to use phone, open a can and do normal daily task if my nails have gotten too long. I wonder how you manage to do that.
Use the pad of your fingers. I open cans using a spoon or whatever I can put under the ring pull just to lift it up a little , then use the side of my finger slightly bent to lift and open. You get used to them. Mine are just over 2 inches and I can pick up a 5c coin off the floor!
The set is absolutely stunning! 😮 I would wait on a waiting list for months just for the opportunity to be her client. She's so precise and gentle. And her artistry is authentic. ❤ I would've tossed my debit card to her to charge, lol. Absolutely beautiful work.
Your nails look stunning 🤩 incredible job. The sort of thing I would expect a Saudi princess to have done who has a full staff to do everything for her - you would struggle to do anything for yourself for fear of damaging them 😲. Absolutely worth the cost for the skill, precision and time required for this level of nail art. Amazing 💜
I love how zen is just casually walking around with the roller in her bangs😂 also I noticed your baby hairs aren’t permed in this one, was this filmed beforehand or did the treatment not work?😢
I hate it when nail techs want to charge high prices but their work is average to below average. This is worth the cost of over $600! Especially for a wedding. Bravo!!!! Although someone else will have to put on your hose, clothes and do your hair because those stones are snagging everything.
you would use pliers to cut off the gems. If you are careful enough you can even reuse them. Then you just file the gel down with an efile like she did at the beginning!
that's probably a place where they get their nails done before filming a music video or something. that's a lot of bling bling. those nails turned out ridiculously pretty though and I'm not even into nails like that but can't deny how aesthetically pleasing it looks.

This type of work takes time. Not to mention money. Those gems and polishes cost so much more than you think. That's basically where most of the techs money goes to. You won't get those kind of nails here in America. And if you do.. you'll pay about the same or more. For crappy work or half asked work because I'll be honest, the majority of nail salons won't take on a customer that wants this type of craftsmanship. They will tell you that they can't do it or that they don't have the time and will make you settle for cheap acrylic nails with cheap "stones" and cheap polish. I know what I'm talking about lol I've been a nail tech for almost 30 yrs 😂 I know how things work. This is absolutely superb work. Those nails won't come off unless she soaks them off. They're not going anywhere lol the stones too😂
@@srslee5966 Finally some sense in this comment section.. sis unnecessarily OCD-layered each gel colour three times but didn't even bother to fit her press ons properly... = 600$ ?💀💀 Neither mass purchasing & breaking up some jewellery pieces nor her overly obsessive ombre justifies this price either, you just pay for her brand rep. (&OCD painting time lol) 💀
@@srslee5966 You're not just paying for the tips, gel, and glass crystals. A small chunk of the bill will be the glass crystals etc, but she also took 3½ hours to meticulously complete one hand! So from income of $87 an hour she has to source, buy and pay for all her kit inc crystals, outfit and maintain a shop, pay tax and NI, no paid holiday or health insurance, rent and rates in an up-market mall etc - that soon eats into your $87/hr. I can only assume you've never run your own business to the point where you consistently make a decent profit. Nobody's _forcing_ anyone to go to her salon - no-one's being ripped off. If you can't afford it, you're not the target market.
This reads more like sour grapes because you can't afford it. *I can't afford it either, I just choose not to be an arsehole about it.* 🙄
I went to your channel to look at your sublime nail art - executed for a fraction of the price, but strangely couldn't find any videos. You must have taken them down as you were getting swamped with work, I guess...
Tina is really getting a full makeover in Korea😅
Haha I am
Nope only half apparently 😂
and I am so jealous watching away from Korea! You're doing it right, Tina!
So what did she do with the other hand?

I used to be a nail tech and honestly I would of paid just to watch her her work, this was amazing I learned so much!!
It's meticulous and very fine work.
A set like this with the same high standards would be between 400.00 to 800.00 in most metropolitan cities in the USA especially with all the high quality crystals she uses. These nails are a lot of work and the prep removing your old set. This nail tech is very professional and does impeccable and pristine work! Thanks so much for sharing this with us!
More like 1000
I honesty love when they file the nails manually instead of using a drill. Filing is more relaxing and enjoyable but very time consuming. I have only found one salon where I live that only does that every other salon will use a drill and sometimes it burns cause they’re rough. Tho I have since found a place that does it gently but I stopped getting my nails did cause it’s too expensive 😢
I’m a self taught nail artist and these videos are amazing to learn about others’ steps and processes. This set is absolutely stunning!!!!

even her application of the extension is so amazing to watch. you can tell even by that how much she cares about her art.
You can instantly tell she's an artist from her level of detail✨
I always thought of nail decorations as either a rite of passage or an investment.
Its so nice to see someone do it because they genuinely enjoy it.
when you mentioned she was an art teacher I understood her style soo much more. I kept looking at her do the nails and I kept thinking her technique felt familiar haha.
Now she is the Queen of bling these are prolli the prettiest nails I’ve ever seen!🥰🥰
I instantly recognized illuming nail’s style.
@@mollyapteros if you take them off carefully with pliers you can reuse them!
Oh man I regret selling all my old costume jewelry 😢
@Molly have you heard of nail glue debonder I think it can help you loosen them a bit and take them off with minimal effort and damage
Perfection & her attention to detail is impeccable! Passion at its finest!
YASS we love someone with attention to detail
Это не просто маникюр, эта мастерица превратила каждый ноготок в ювелирное украшение! Роскошно ⭐💫✨
Nail artists really have a job that requires a lot of patience and a great eye for design. Thinking about how our studio's press on nails are all thoughtfully created by them, I really admire their dedication!!!
$600???????? Dayum. She does take her time and is very meticulous, and that's alot of gems plus the ombre. Those are perfect.
😭😭😭
I know why she asks the prices she asks, and she knows its really worth it
I’m not even a nail extension type of person, but this, THIS I would totally do! Absolutely stunning work!! 😍💕
Love your nails! She's ultra gifted.
❤ Wow.. these are so stunning. She sure did an amazing job 🥰❤❤
I got close, I guessed $500. I’m not surprised that both hands cost 1k. The nail tech is an artist so, you can’t rush perfection and you get what you paid for. ❤ Gorgeous work!
The nails look so royal and shimmery✨ 💖
Korean Nail Techs are on a whole new level. Loved getting my nails done in Korea.
Those are beautiful!
Stunning!!!! I’m interested in nail art and her techniques are definitely something to learn from
Considering she used real jewlery and the amount of time and effort effort she put into it 300 isn‘t a bad price.
And it really looks stunning, i could imagine someone getting that for their wedding or something like that.
Wow - that is the cleanest nail salon I have ever seen! I love how extravagant & intricate all the sets are 😍
I am obsessed!!! Those nails are incredible, I am ready to fly over to Korea just to get them done!! What an amazing artist!
So beautiful! I love Tina in Korea series. How fun if Tina and Megan Moon got together for a collab! Good vibes ✨
Wow,
That shop is extremely clean!!!
I enjoyed watching the process!
That woman is an artist!!! 💗💗💗
Yeap. I believe in 4 hours she'd be done wich is not much for THIS set!
I'm so jealous 😭 because of the work I do I can't get my nails done and I miss having them nicely painted. These are so pretty!
Same! I loved doing my nails before i started working :(
Same here, but in my case i play violin so I can’t get them done either :(
Same here 🥲
Shes done an amazing job. They are my favorite blinged nails as of now!!!!
So mesmerizing and beautiful! Thanks for sharing your experience with us.
I love how she is so meticulous and all her sets are absolutely beautiful
I love how I was so familiar with all the techniques and process because I watch so many korean nail channels like Jounail lol
So pretty! I don’t know any nail artists that paints gel over jewels, so she’s doing the procedure to secure them like every one should🥰
It's like a luxury jewelry store for nails. Amazing lady. And you are adorable as a lil bunny
Shes an absolute MASTER at her craft! They were worth every penny IMHO. THEY ARE GORGEOUS!
Those are the best nails I ever saw! 😳❤️ She’s amazing! Wish our gals took half as much care and pride in their work as she does. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I'm so in love with how she cares for your nails. Her design is bomb!
Incredible! Any chance you could give us an update on how well they wear in a few weeks Tina? Super jelly of your nails right now! Luv from Brisbane
They are very sturdy and the gems have been stuck on well- non of them fell off BUT my hair and clothes tend to get stuck on them. So that’s the bad thing about having 3D nails 🥲
@@tina_yong Thanks Tina. I knew you'd have a real world, mum-life wear report 😂😂 Have been addicted to watching K-nail videos lately 💅
Tina, use latex gloves when styling your hair. Tried and true.
This is how ive. Been doing my nails also. I create my own nail stones from jewelry . This makes my nails unique. Beautifully done.
Most korean nail artists I sub to on YT often do these beautiful long nails with 3D stone art on themselves, but I don't think there's a huge demand for those from most customers 😅 we love good corn tips with jellojello peel-off base haha
Also... Swarovski nail art haul unboxing are some of my fav videos everrrrrr 💖
Absolutely stunning✨I couldn’t take enough screen shots for inspiration haha. I love watching your salon visits and are impressed how healthy your nature nails are 💗
Your nails are truly a work of art.
I have seen other nail artists on youtube say the same about the top coat making stones/gems less shiny. What lovely nails!
She is amazing at what she does. I am a fan!
as a person who loves doing my nails, and loves watching people do their nails, this is absolutely breathtaking. her attention to detail outmatches all other nail techs more than any other ik.
Cost and Maybe because she has a baby too? Working with long nails probably is difficult to move and work around
@@alethealee1042 it was 306 for one hand. 612 if she would have gotten both hands done.
The shop is beautiful and her work is gorgeous.....😊😊😊
I'm a nurse so I could never wear these nails but oh my gosh they are absolutely works of art
The care and time she takes is wonderful. So much attention to every detail. So beautiful 😍
Love these nails! Reminds me a lot of Jounail's designs!
If I had the money, I'd be booking immediately, thank you so much for sharing this 😊
Question: how do you use your phone after the nail extension?
Absolutely beautiful work.
... does she design jewellery? She should!!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Amazing 💜
I love how zen is just casually walking around with the roller in her bangs😂 also I noticed your baby hairs aren’t permed in this one, was this filmed beforehand or did the treatment not work?😢
Can you try Jounail art next? Her nail art is so out of this world 😍
I hate it when nail techs want to charge high prices but their work is average to below average. This is worth the cost of over $600! Especially for a wedding. Bravo!!!! Although someone else will have to put on your hose, clothes and do your hair because those stones are snagging everything.
💜🎐There's no washing dishes or braiding any hair with those super "💎" beautiful tips!!🥂☺️
Those nails are stunning!! And i love the ring 😍
The nails are absolutely beautiful and gorgeous. You have to prepare yourself to wear those….wow❤
These nails are gorgeous. I was sad to see the bunny go though!😭🥰
I love bling… i LOVEE purple… when i seen these different style nails; my jaw dropped!!! These are beautiful!!!!!!!!
INCREDIBLE ART FORM!!🤩
How would these be taken off?😬
you would use pliers to cut off the gems. If you are careful enough you can even reuse them. Then you just file the gel down with an efile like she did at the beginning!
That is the most beautiful set of nail bling I have ever seen!! She did a fantastic job ❤
that's probably a place where they get their nails done before filming a music video or something. that's a lot of bling bling.
those nails turned out ridiculously pretty though and I'm not even into nails like that but can't deny how aesthetically pleasing it looks.
