We got Fay to film via zoom and she's removing her own nails. This shows you how easy (or not) it is to do at home with no formal training and after 6 weeks of lockdown, I think we all need a little TLC on our nails.

See I learned half of “how to do my own nails” from watching the girls who did them and literally everything else from Suzie and Kirsty on RUclips simultaneously! I think Fay did an amazing job and I feel for her completely! It was good to check in with her so we can all sleep better knowing she is safe and that her nails are safe also!! But, you know she will have had so much time to decide what her next full set will be... 😂😂😂 I simply can’t wait! Love to you all from MN!

I'm really glad to see that Fay is doing as well as she is with having to soak and file off 80% of her acrylics. I could tell that it was breaking her heart to lose her beautiful, long nails for however long these shelter in place orders stay in effect. I was one of those women who was known for wearing extra-long nails, always with lovely, creative nail art. It's hard to give that up, especially when it's become a part of your identity, and not your choice to give it up in the first place.
Fay did a FAN-FREAKING-TASTIC job of filming her work! The lighting was good, the sound was good, and I was VERY impressed!!! Working on her dominant hand was really frustrating her, and I don't blame her! That's a difficult project for someone with no real training. Fay may know what a perfect, finished nail looks like, but she doesn't have the skills required to sculpt her own set of nails. At least not yet! But, the longer this quarantine lasts the more skills Fay will master! So, next week she'll learn how to measure her nail beds for "Kirsty's Kustom Klaws" press-on nails, and then Fay will learn to fit them the following week. And who knows, perhaps the following week she'll learn to apply builder in a bottle to her own nails so she can preserve her length? That'll be especially important for Fay once there's virtually no acrylic left on her nail plates. Good luck, Faye!

round of applause for faye, people dont realise no matter how many times you have seen it how difficult taking nails off can be, so to be doing it for the first time on camera is so commendable. she just helped so many people during a difficult time and also put a smile on a lot of faces including mine. It's so good to hear from Fay again! I really feel for her. She did a great job though, it's really not easy to soak off using your non-dominate hand. I just soaked off my gel overlay so I could put on tips tomorrow and I can barely function with no nails, I can't imagine how weird it must be for Fay who has such long nails. Keep your head up Fay, this can't go on forever.

Good to know how Faye is doing, had been wondering how she was and if she'd be able to take her own nails down a bit. She did seem to pay attention a lot to what Kirsty would do with them so I think she learned something from all the appointments.

When I'm soaking off my own nails I wrap my dominant hand first, as trying to do it with wraps on my non dominant hand is too much of a challenge!

I must add I'm sooooooo glad Fay's mic doesn't pick up the sound of the filing like the regular videos. Adam, PLEASE make it so the filing noises on Kirsty's videos isn't so loud. It's like nails on a chalkboard and I have to turn the valume down.

Tbh it’s far easier to do one hand at a time. It’s always how I’ve done it and it may take longer but having foil on both if you’re doing it yourself is a bit much.
