I grew up with these sardines. I spend $5 a can and everyone is telling me to go to the .99 cents store. I replied, "It's not Nuri spicy sardines". I just can't eat a crappy brand. I won't do it.
I can see the dedication, meticulously prepared by hands and with only the freshest sardine! I am actually eating this sardine right now and i feel that im in portugal! I like also their other sardine called Mabuti!

I love these sardines, I alway purchase them off of Amazon. But I cant help but feel some sorrow for their employees, I would go stark raving mad working on that line adding carrots, pickles and peppers to cans of sardines. I imagine that some of them have been doing it for years if not decades. Thank you to them all.
Not a sardines fan but these look tasty. Thinking of ordering some. I bought 2 tins of Jose Gourmet 1 in tomato sauce and 1 smoked small sardines in olive oil. Has anyone heard of this brand??

I live in the USA and I order direct from Conservas Pinhais in Portugal and their sardines are wonderful. Never had any issues with shipping. I like the spiced olive oil variety the best - great spices with complexity, not just heat. I probably have 100 tins or so in my basement stockroom aging as the flavor actually improves over time - 4 to 5 years is ideal from my understanding but they will last much longer if one wants. I do eat them now too as I cannot wait on all of them. For the first time, I ordered some sardine roes in December 2021 and look forward to trying them soon for a special treat.
