I grew up on these in the Caribbean. Now living in Canada I can't live without Brunswick!
Very fond of Brunswick sardines and have been for well over 60 years. Mash with worcestershire sauce and chopped pickled onions, then spread on hot toast. Yum! Col, NZ.
I absolutely love brunswick sardines.great job team!
Sardines might be the ultimate superfood!
High protein, healthy fats, no carbs and are extremely sustainable!
@pedrodte nataniel Not a competition buddy
..... and very delicious to enjoy eating. 😎❤
Another thing is they contain very little Mercury compared to Tuna and others, You can eat a lot of them!
Until you put soybean oil in it.
@@RoninAvenger I try to get just Water Sardines, but some places they are hard to find!
I’ve been eating sardines my whole life and I’m 65. I quit eating them when I noticed what I was buying came from China. When I found New Brunswick, I started eating them again because I trust their quality control. I’m so glad I found NB brand because now I can enjoy my favorite snack - sardines and crackers with hot sauce - and know that i’m getting a high quality product.
There'd a Portuguese company that still does it by hand. Do a RUclips search you will find them. They seem to be the best available. You'd have to order them though
Lived in New Brunswick most of my life where sardines were a snack, a really healthy snack.
Yes, I can eat them right out of the Can too!
35 years in NB I always new these came from NB but didn’t k ow the were world renown !
@@pippinthegreat7300 Blacks Harbor NB, I've never had better ones from other countries.
after seeing this video i went and bought the Brunswick sardines. really tasty and felt the flavor good when compared to other canned sardines. thanks for making this video.
When he said they followed sustainability principles, he got my 👍.
Brunswick sardines ... indeed the best. The texture of the fish is always firm . It’s great that the harvesting is sustainable .
the brunswick brand is the last sardine canning factory in North America.
Sad there is not more companies doing this. I worked seafood for years especially from hunts point NYC it's all frozen now. The trade even goes as far to ship say shrimp from south to china or India get processed then sent back here as block frozen something many consumers are unaware of. It's a crime shame cost of living has killed or is killing a good hard working trade. Just my opinion
robb pratt why a lot of them factories closed ?
It is a national treasure worth preserving. Hopefully it will remain.
I lived near Monterey CA. a while, there were lots of Sardine Canneries there, until one day for some reasons the Sardines moved away from the Waters there. A beautiful place with a fascinating history, now mostly wealthy People live there. John Steinbeck wrote about it in some of His Books!
@@godofdestruction3446 Probably the market being flooded with cheap sardines from Thailand or other places making them go out of business, just like most of the textile and manufacturing sector, steel and everything else.
Loved seeing this! Both sides of my family were commercial fisherman (or lobstermen) and my aunts and mother worked in the sardine factory in Back Bay NB back in the 60s. So I was raised on sardines from Connor Bros! They are the best! Sure brings back childhood memories.
I love you sardines packed in spring water keep up the great job
YES ! Just had a Sardine Salad for dinner, delicious New Brunswick, of course, packed in water.
Because hydrogenised oil is bad 👍🏼
As a Viking man, I require my essential herring. The Brunswick cannery provides me and many others with excellent golden smoked flavour to savour daily.A true Canadian gem and a delicious, nutritious treat!
TRINIDAD loves BRUNSWICK sardines, its the only one on grocery shelves in some groceries. I love the olive oil flavour.
i have not had Brunswick sardines in a really long time, they sell them at a store thats over a mile away at the Save a Lot or the Aldi's.. in stead i buy Beach Cliff Sardines at the dollar general store. and also Northern Catch sardines at the convenience store. one of these days i should go get me some Brunswick sardines.
We sure doo!!! Had mines yesterday some seasoning onion, pepper and fry it up. It reall good!
its true, in my 19 years as a Trini, I've only ever seen brunswick sardines in my house lolol
Because we know how to prepare it.
@@Kishan2213 lmao same
We love Brunswick sardines here in Trinidad and Tobago. It's big here with Brunswick products here. Love it.
wow i am from new brunswick and wouldve never guessed! makes me proud of my home province
@@_barnac you should be, it's literally the best sardines found in Trinidad and Tobago, no one and nothing can convince me otherwise
@@Maya.0114 how much do they cost? here i buy them at the dollar store for CAD 1.50$
@@_barnac the price varies depending on where you buy it. At the grocery where I get it, it's like $8 although I did see it being sold for $11 once at another grocery
Jamaica too. It’s the only can fish brand we know.
I really liked this. 😄
I eat Brunswick Sardines everyday! They are the best tasting sardines I just had some to eat. I'm hocked on this delicious seafood.
I love this product. So good and sustainable too.
I hate show hosts cutting in while the person being interviewed is speaking.
I feel the same way. This "interviewer" is a dud.
just finished a can of New Brunswick sardines bathed in tomato sauce, blessed
My Breakfast this morning was a can of crushed Brunswick
Sardines in a frying pan that I simmer a minute and pour 3 mixed eggs over the Sardines and cook. I add salt. pepper and garlic powder. Best breakfast ever!! If I'm real hungry I'll use 2 Cans of Sardines!!
I am a big sardine fan from Newport RI USA. I didn't know you were the last in north america. I will find and support 100% as Ive been buying the portuese brands.
I never dug Canadian sardines. I always preferred the traditional warm water, South Atlantic sardines from Portugal, Spain and Morocco, followed by Baltic sardines (sprats, really) from Norway and Poland. I love Canadian smoked herring, as well as fresh PEI oysters and mussels, and of course lobster.
That being said, I'll give them another shot. They are a bargain.
Same here
Their "Golden Smoked" Herring Fillets are the best - by far - that I have tried. I just love 'em!!
Mustard sauce is the best! Great 👍 job folks.
I only buy mustard
Love the lemon one too.
Great sardines. Shame about the soya oil.
I go for packed in water 👍
I eat Brunswick when they have them in the store!
Yes, I love sardines for years now. Keep up your good work. 😋😛
These are so good.
I really really love sardines
I just bought a 12 pack of them a few days ago. I really love those sardines.
College students like myself depend on can fish for protein
I fed my cat sardines 2x a week his breath stank but his coat was beautiful
We should feed your cat to Alf.
I've noticed the same thing with my cat, she loves sardines! I've never fed her cat food from the store. That stuff is Absolutely grotesque, all brands dry or wet!
I chewed up 6 fish oil capsules and had the breath of a thousand sardines
That's what my wife said about me
Just take a fish oil capsule.... avoid the nasty taste of sardines
I love those sardines. Sardines, Rye bread and butter. Life doesn't get much better.
I love sardines, its a family thing
Yes , a top product , lots of respect from NZ .
Indeed the best.
After having dozens of different sardines, you’re near the bottom of my list!
These are my go-to sardines at Safeway in San Francisco...they're usually always on sale at $ 2 a can or 3 for $4
Try .99c
Sardines, onions, and black pepper with Excelsior water crackers - yummiest snack
Jamaican?
I eat Brunswich sardines almost every day of the week. I was enjoying some a few minutes ago and wondered "I wonder how these are processed?" And here I am. I just wish my local supermarket wouldn't run out of them all the time.
I love sardines. Will have to try this brand. 🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟
This brand is very big in my country and surinam people love it. Its a first aid food if you dont have anything to cook.great with rice and bread...love it...brunswick rulezzzz
Beautiful traditional boats! Been eating this brand for decades.
Love it
Love them Brunswick are the best.
Do you use BPA free linings in your cans ?
My only brand- love it.
i love sardine so much
I'm starting to enjoy them, myself.
I like them better than tuna.
I like the one with jalapeño 😀
Are the sardines cool when the oil or sauce is added?
Sardines, my favorite food!
The best sardines in the world are the moroccan sardines.
No joke
Why?
It’s dirty
The Titus Brand. Best hands down.
I had the smoked sardines yesterday. It was sooooo good. I didn’t feel any bones in them either. I will buy all of the other flavors too. Nice protein snack and a good way to get my omega 3 fatty acids.
That's the sardines I eat the only sardines i eat i just looooove it. ❤ from Jamaica
Brunswick sardines are my favourite. I eat a can every day of the year at my very first meal of the day and it is my favourite meal of the day, regardless of whether it turns out to be a late-night meal or a breakfast. I like the steaks the best, but I have only ever seen them at my local Dollarama in Toronto, and they are not often available there either. So, I usually have to settle for the more easily available water-packed ones. They are great too, just a tad less convenient than the steaks, but the distinction is really minor.
Love the brunswick brand, love from Fiji
My favorite brand of sardines😍😋😎
I love these sardines and they are great in mayo with onion like tuna salad, plus they're great with worstershire sauce and pepper on toast with tea and by themselves with a bit of buttered bread or with potatoes and peas or fried with you name it!
My dad and I used to eat sardines in mustard along with saltine crackers when I was a youngster. Not sure of the brand but I might need to look for the Brunswick brand?!
Canada is Americas greatest country..
Canada is America's largest outdoor recreation park.... 😉
New Brunswick! Yeah!!!
"Smells like fish, tastes like chicken" a line from a movie
The best for true👍👍👍👍
Also try Nuri
My favorite sardines.
I eat them every day.
great to know. how do i get direct supply please.
I bought some Brunswick sardines yesterday. Product of Poland is printed on the tin.
"Nuri" is the BEST in the WORLD. Package by hand and not by machines big difference.
The 1st human that disobeyed sardines deserves a noble peace prize
Cool video
So what do you pack them in that's healthy?
Love my sardines!
I've never seen the filled versions in any of my stores!
I love sardines🐟🐋
Are the fish sardines or are they herring cut in smaller portions???
I need some that are in water........to plant with each tomato plant this year.
I would like to know what the turnover rate is for employees at these packing plants
Tabernac! Me, I never knew dose Canadien sardines were so good, enh?
What happens to the head/tail after removal?
Which is best: Sadines in water, soya oil or olive oil? I live in the beautiful, tranquil Islands of The Bahamas and love Brunswick Sardines.
I loove sardines ♥️
Gotta love those sardines, I love them in sandwiches and on mac&cheese dinner. Any day. ❤😎
Anyone know the shelf life?
Yes, Canada, you have the best sardines, I can attest to that.
Are they wild caught pacific sardines?
Where can you purchase in Los angels or Orange County California
I’m eating a can as I watch this.
remember when I used to eat sardines for dinner.
I just don't understand why someone would choose to eat tuna from a can when Brunswick Sardines exist. So good. I eat about 5 cans a week.
I bought tomtato sardines and the sardines dont taste the same as the one in jalapeno..they are smaller and very soft why? I love sardines i eat 1-2 cans everyday
Y Didn't open one...
My fav is the hot pepper flavour
We...well I have been eating Brunswick sardines for decades...Jamaicans 🇯🇲 love Brunswick sardines or any product that marked ' Brunswick '....nice..I can eat sardines and rice everyday
Best sardines ever
cool. :)
years ago father saw a presentation-----the Brunswick guy said----we eat what we can-- and we can the rest
They don't mention the sardines canned in Maine! A! Also delicious, my mom worked in the factories for years, and cut to size to fit the cans! I still buy them, though I don't live in New England anymore because of the cold!!!!! Miss those times! 1
In Fiji 🇫🇯
Brunswick was of very high quality about a decade ago, but nowadays not really. Perhaps they had better quality control back then?
