Thank you. This looks simple enough that I (hope I) can do this, lol. I just harvested my 1st cucumbers and have 12 of them. Chatted with a friend on Friday about canning. And today found a nice canning pot with the rack at my local Goodwill. I think I will try this recipe of yours, along with making pickles.
Now I need to learn how to wash and use it all. I see I need yet to get that grabber thingy to handle the jars.

I will try it later in the season, hubby likes sweet pickles, but I am not a fan. Seems like a sweet recipe. The onions might make it super good. It looks beautiful at the end!! I hate loosing footage. Sorry you had that technical difficulty my friend.

I replace the sugar with honey in all my canning recipes, ie pickles etc

For this recipe making 4 qts, did you use 2 cup vinegar & 2 cups sugar? Asking to make sure I put enough of the spices in. Thanks😊

Yes, I used equal amounts of sugar to vinegar (equal ratio). Thanks 😊 for watching 💚

New to canning. How long do they keep? Can you put mixture in jars room temperature?

The general rules is three months to a year; however, if kept in the proper environment and the seal intact, I have heard of items keeping for years. My grandparents would keep canned items from one year to the next without any problems. But, if you have questions as to whether an item is safe or not, throw it out!!! Better safe than sorry. After canning food/jars should be kept in a cool dark place, if possible to help maintain their shelf life.
