  • No canning necessary. These are so good. You can eat them the same day but the longer they sit, the better they get. Store in fridge up to 2 months. You will have a better result using pickling cucumbers. The best refrigerator pickles! Also known as cucumber salad in a jar.

Thank you for sharing this cucumber salad in a jar. It looks so good I want to make it soon. One question is, I heard you said you save your jars, ( I save jars from spaghetti sauce etc) Do I need to boil the glass jars and lids to sterelize them?

Thank you for the recipe, but have to say something about jr comment about your uncle that has passed. He is NOT an angel now! I dont mean that in a mean tone at all, but this is how things in the word of God get twisted and spoken wrong, and is probably the way it happened with you. You probably heard someone else say it and it does sound nice, but is not right. God created us all in HIS image. He did not do this with the angels. The angels dont turn human and humans dont become angels. We need to study the woed of God a little more carefully, and make sure we are not misquoteing it. Angels have a special purpose, and we can never fill their part, nor can they EVER fill ours. One day we will judge the angels according to Gods word. Again, dont mean in a hateful way, i just think we must quote the word right and not say what it does not say. People are watching and listening. Thank you again, and God bless
