I’m not sure exactly how or why, but the happy tears, the chills that come out of nowhere, those goosebumps…these are involuntary physical reactions to Band Maid. It’s a gift. Enjoy it ❤
@@sugaanessena3143 Damn that's difficult. From Epic narratives i'd say "The One" but then it's too close to call for a second between "Forbidden Tale", "Go Easy" & "Letters to You". I'd say it depended on what type of set list i was going for that determined which songs i'd choose from each album...apart from "Don't You Tell Me", that's there no matter what.😁 How about you?
Both Blooming and this Onset Live are incredibly mysterious for me. For some reason, they evoke memories of a childhood I never actually had-sounds I couldn’t have heard, scenes I couldn’t have seen. And yet, they make me feel nostalgic for when I was 2 to 4 years old. This must be their magic at work.
Every Madiac has songs that have that effect on them. Some how, for a rock band, it's the joy and beauty in what they do. I got a PRS guitar and a Tama drum kit because of this band. If you get a bass guitar and you want to sound like Misa for less money, I recommend the PRS Kingfisher bass. It will give you the same great tone as Misa's Black Smoker- my wife plays one.
@@grahamreed8774 awesome! Thank you for the information on the bass guitar, I started talking to my wife about it so the thought process has started. 😂❤️🔥🤘
BAND-MAID will be performing overseas again next year, so if they're at a venue near you, be sure to come along. It's guaranteed to be a fun experience.😊
Band-Maid live is always the best version. The band's enthusiasm for performing before a live audience always comes out. I have been to two of their live concerts after hearing every album and song they recorded and, in my opinion, live is truly best. Plus the way the Maids interact with the audience is so charming, engaging, and fun. A Band-Maid live concert will always be stored in your memory banks.
What does a great band do to protect their singers voice during a concert, just let her rest and go into a epic instrumental song, that's all! Along with "Magic Spell Time" and a Miku song, Saiki gets a good break.
This video shows the first live performance of “onset”, which no one in the audience knew existed until this performance, nor did they know the name of the song on the day of the performance. I am Japanese and have attended most of BAND-MAID's concerts (OKYUJI) in Japan in recent years, and I have always been impressed by their highly accomplished performances of any new song, even if it is performed live for the first time. This performance of “onset” is a prime example of this, but their subsequent live performances of this song have continued to grow in excellence with each subsequent performance. Although the structure of the song remains the same, the tightness and perfection of the ensemble has evolved, and it is not unusual for KANAMI and MISA to improvise finely on their own phrases at times. Since then, they have been making more instrumental tunes, so “onset” is rarely performed these days, but there are still many fans of this song all over the world. I just hope that they will continue to play this song in the future without forgetting it.🙏
@@GaryHolloway-810 Hi. 🙂 There's something about Zepp Tokyo as a moment in time and where they were at the time. Already extraordinary at 5 years, let alone 10. I think this is better than 'from now on' by a zillionth of an inch.
Ah yes, Band-Maid, Ginger, and Love Butts! 😲 Sorry, the subtitles were making me laugh. 😊 But yes, this song goes HARD. Love the opening riff with both Kanami's higher-pitched guitar and Miku's guitar growling lower, in unison. Sounds so cool every time!
Great reaction and just wait until you get to "Forbidden Tale" from their new album "Epic Narratives", at least for me it's one of their most emotional songs.
I don't mean to be hard on you because most of us are guilty of watching bootlegged Band-Maid videos just react to the music on their official channel first. Is that fair ? 😏❤️🎙🎸🥁😎🤘
@@lonniekramlich6241 I know it's wrong but 100's of channels have done "Onset". If people are still going to react to it anyway i'd rather it was a channel like Sol's where he has interesting things to say about each song :)
