Pisces represents duality, and so does her voice. This song- from the time signatures, to the layers, to the cohesion and compliments of each instrument to each other- is a masterpiece.

Tati's clean voice is produced by her vocal cords, but her harsh vocals have very little involvement of the vocal cords. The sort of "white noise", growly sound of the harsh vocal is produced by the "false vocal folds", which are located above the vocal cords. So, her harsh vocals do not adversely affect her clean vocals. Having said that, this is a technique that needs to be learned, because done improperly, real damage can be done to the vocal cords. Also, Tati has an unusually high level of skill in rapidly switching between vocal styles.

I could listen to Tatiana read the phone book. Her accent is wonderful too. That song in the studio was done with quite a few harmonies. Live they use tracks very sparingly but one of the things they do with them is very minimal backing vocals. A lot of times just a small fraction of what is done in the studio.

I feel you bro. I'm about the same age as you, heard thousands of bands and songs, still BABYMETAL is the best thing I have ever experienced in music. They also give me joy, positivity and power to go through life, which is so surprising considering they do metal music.

Babymetal and Bring me the Horizont were friends for years. They met 2015 and Su's english was still rather simple while Ollie offered the Girls to be their local guide. This was a huge help for Su. So they were private Fans for years and they always wanted to do something together. And when Babymetal went into an Hiatus, they knew they had to be fast. Babymetal was a 10 year contract and it was totally unknown if there would ever be a new Babymetal. Su and Moa met each other in Tokyo and took together a studio .And Su and Moa went Job Hunting, while Ollie started to write this song. And in the first Version Su sang totally in English. This Version showed Ollie that he could go all in. Su would Balance him out. But Su saw that this got a bit much for her alone so she started the Babymetal Production staff. Since there were delays and olde orderers of Koba were still valid (if Su asked for help she had free rein, no questions asked). So this became a Babymetal project. Possibly the last one. No one knew at that time that Su and Moa started a private list, what would have to change so that they would continue Babymetal. They gave their propoasal to Koba and he agreed that it would be feasable. Most of all they wanted to be a trio again so he forwarded Su and Moas invitation to Korea to Momoko. For Momoko this was probably a huge relieve. So three years after Bring Me The Horizont published Kingslayer Babymetal helped them to promote their first own Festival after their first US Tour as the new Babymetal and just before their Europe Headliner Tour they had one Week in Japan and four Dates for their first Live performances with BMTH. After the first concert Moa modified the Choreo to give Su more Breath. Tokyo was their 3rd of 4 concerts.

Pisces and Perennial are far from the heaviest songs in Jinjer tracklist. Try something heavier from their live performances. I'd suggest as a next step: - Pit of Consciousness (official live in Kiev) or - Who's Gonna Be The Onкрe (official live at Atlas)

I cranked the sound up to maximum on my laptop and could just hear your voice. Couldn't hear the music at all. I know the song very well, so not a big problem. However, I think you could do with bumping your volume up a bit. Adverts are loud on RUclips and the videos vary widely in sound (and content!) quality. Glad you enjoyed the track - Jinjer is a very accomplished band. The individual musicians are all very hard working, talented and creative. Good people.

Their drummer Vlad has several drum playthrough videos of their songs. Tatiana can switch back and forth between the vocal styles within a single line if she needs to. She's very good. You can't go wrong with any of the official videos. Good suggestions would be Perennial Live at Wacken Open Air 2019, Pit of Consciousness Live in Kyiv, Sit Stay Roll Over Live in Melbourne.

You've just scratched the surface. Dive deeper and you'll find dozens of bangers. Jinjer is one of the best modern prog metal bands nowadays. Despite the info in wiki they are not metalcore band although they performed some kind of metalcore 10+ years ago. Most of their songs have great live videos (I mean, live at the stage, not studio live) and in most cases official live performances are better than OMVs. JINJER - Perennial (Live at Wacken Open Air 2019) is a common second step for reactors. But there're dozens of options you can choose. But keep in mind that in most cases their music is much heavier than Pisces. But in 90%+ cases it includes the mix of extreme and clean vocals.
