My LG OLED makes irritating noises and I can't use the "smart" features because it requires that I give up my personal data to a third party data broker. These are things that will cause me to avoid LG products in the future.
Just did the refresher for the first time in 2 years because youtube stuff is burned into my panel. I was amazed that it completely fixed it so i went to look up how it worked, found your video luckily to inform me not to overuse it.
I have the 2022. LG OLED G2 77 inch. The TV popped up with a message to do the pixel cleaning for the first time since the TV is around 6 months old. I use mine around 3 to 4 hours a day maximum. I performed the pixel cleaning and it took 8 to 10 minutes and the Tv came back on. I’ll be sure to do this on a rare basis. This was a good video

You should be paid by LG. Just bought an OLED from them after being in a long doubt because I have read about burn in problems. But this video and you other about automatically and other user reviews give me the confidence to buy this.
Just bought the A1 65” and am very happy with it EXCEPT… the so-called “manual” is just awful. It took hours and hours of hunting on the net to find the info I needed. Then I found you! Your work is greatly appreciated…. And PLEASE tell LG to get on the ball with their manuals.

@Arondev sorry if you dont get my question. The video says pixel cleaning happens when tv is off in default. Doesn’t that affect the tv lifespan too? ( As video says pixel cleaning will shorten lifespan of the tv )

@@jamieburstow6236 Great to hear, mine will be use for the PS5, Series S and movies and tv shows only. I wouldn't expect it to run more than 15 - 20 hours a week so I think it could have a pretty satisfying lifespan for an oled.

Just purchased an LG C3 77" OLED and loving it! Looked around on the internet for info on the pixel cleaning. Not much definitive advice from LG. But, then I saw your video, what you say makes sense. But, my question is, If the TV itself performs a pixel cleaning every 4 hours, why would it hurt for me to do it on a regular basis? It seems the auto tv cleaning every 4 hours would be way more excessive than me doing it periodically.
The auto one that runs after 4 hours, when the screen is in standby mode is only a refresher not a full clean. It's nowhere near as aggressive as a clean. Just wait to be prompted to run the full clean.
So whats difference if the cleaning occurs every day after 4 hour of use compared to one time manually ? If someone watches tv for more than 8 hours a day it will clean 2 times/day isnt that more harmful in the long run too then ?
@The Tech Giant I really love watching your reviews, very informative. I was hesitant about buying an OLED model, but after watching some of your reviews and bought the C1 65". Damn it is really amazing. I am really happy that I did not select the samsung QN85A over C1. Concerning the burn-in, to my understanding LG designed he pixel refresher to run automatically after 4 hours of accumulative usage.
@@BlackBullPistol Yeah true.. I had to run the oled refresh manually the same day I got my t.v because it had 2 very noticeable vertical banding lines on the left of the screen. I seriously had no hope that it would help but I ran it before I went to work came home and it was completely gone. I couldn't believe it... the panel is completely clean now so I really lucked out!

Have an older LG65C6P with severe image retention. LG Tech told me t run the manual pixel refresher 5 times. Problems with the panel and pixel retention became much worse after running it the 5 times.
I'm so glad I ran into this video. I bought an LG OLED a week ago and I've already run this "pixel cleaner" at least 5 times because of being paranoid.

Had an LG C9 for three years, zero burn in and ive never used the manual pixel refresher. The process runs after every 4 hours of use, and then it does the manual refresher every 12 months automatically. Only use it if you start to notice some image retention.
iv just got my first oleg (g3) im guessing this 10 min manual pixel cleaning thing that the tv does after every 4 hours of use cant be mistakenly turned off? it has 2 options in the menu, one of them is a one off refresh, then bellow that it has another option that says do often

yeah, dont need to use it if you dont watch just one channel. I have been using LG C9 as a computer monitor all through C19 home office since 2019 :P And no burn in yet. I have activated "hide task bar" should be noted.
@@ThatPixelGuy Why not do it? For someone who hasn't done extensive searching online about this topic, the way it's worded in the TV is that you are recommended to run it regularly, which implies every few days.
My new LG G4 had bad vertical banding out of the box. One manual Pixel refresh fixed like 95% of the banding. It was night and day and kept me from returning it. LG wouldn't have this option available if using it was going to damage your screen, they would have hid it in the service menu. All it does is readjust the pixel voltage to make sure all the pixels are producing light more evenly.

I seriously wish I knew this, I was so worried from burn in because I use it for both a pc and TV that I ran the manual pixel refresher probably 5-10 times in the course of 3 months. I don't know why they don't put a description saying only run it if you see any image retention.
did you had image retention before ? after manual pixel refresh you saw any difference? i have vertical banding on my C1 , i did it once but i didnt saw any changes... its still the same :(
Thank you for the informative videos...as this information is very helpful. I just got a 48" C1 that I am using as a PC monitor with my gaming PC. I've also hooked up my PS5 and Switch dock to the C1 as well... and I love it!!! Going from a LED to an OLED is like going back to my Samsung plasma, but in 4K. My daughter uses our 10 yr old 65" 1080p Samsung plasma for her PS5 (previously PS4), and we still have had no burn in issues despite thousands of hours of gaming.
I ran this once on my TV however when i turned it off it did not last an hour. It seemed to take the same amount of time as the auto refresher, even making the clicking noise after about ten minutes to indicate it was finished. I had the TV on for more than 4 hours before i tried manually pixel cleaning too so i am just wondering if there is a safety feature on these TV's that only run the short pixel cleaner even if you try running the manual one, if it has been turned on for more than 4 hours?
Great video. However, it would have been nice if you went into more detail explaining what exactly pixel refresher does and how it correlates to shortening the life of your display. Also, how does it compare to those YT videos you run for 10+ hours that claim to fix burn in? Anyway, I just ran mine on my LG C3 42" I've had for about 6 months after i noticed burn-in from a video game that has some static images (high brightess white text). Thankfully it fixed the burn-in and looks good as new. I'll definitely be more careful with static images in games and hiding UI elements. Glad the pixel refresher did work and only took about 10 minutes to do so.

So we can set auto pixel cleaning every after 4 hour use and turn off the Tv that wont do damage, but its not recomended doing the other option right ?
2000 hours would mean I would need to run it at least twice a year. I have the TV on in the background while doing other things. Thank you for this information.
I’ve had my LG CX OLED since it came out in 2020 I believe it was and use it heavily for Xbox Series X, PlayStation 5 and watching television and still haven’t had the 2000 hour reminder to run the manual pixel refresh. If I do get it soon after 3 years and I run it and get another 3 years or more of constant use out of it then that’s pretty good going. Likelihood is that I’d potentially be looking to upgrade around then or slightly before if there are any significant improvements or additional features added to newer OLED televisions that the consoles could take advantage of for gaming

However for the longest time when playing Warzone on PS5 or Cold War I could never get the TV to output at 4K 120hz. It would do 4K 120 @ 1080p. Have the latest updates on TV, PS5, and both games. PS5 is set to performance preferred. 120hz turned on via console. I’ll add I’m also using the 2.1 HDMI that came with the PS5. Finally today I thought I’d turn off HDCP. Whenever I turned that off on the PS5 I can confirm both warzone and cold war now output at 4K 120fps. The only issue is RUclips and other apps won’t launch because I had to turn that off. Have you ran into this?
Bit confused. Isn't the pixel cleaning function automatically activates pixel cleaning on stand by once every 4 hours the tv was on? What's the difference from what you're talking about ?
i don't get it. after 4 hours tv does it automatically after turning it off and you say "it doesnt affect it". but doing it manually it may affect it? btw why on the "quick check" option it says "run pixel cleaning regularly"? it's really confusing.
Definitely an essential bit of viewing for an OLED owner, however all Manufacturers should put a warning and multiple prompts so owners know it’s not something that can be done constantly with no consequence.

I am currently in search of a new tv. Not really a tech or even more a TV guy . My wife loved how these oled looked in a shop.After a 1min search i found about the burn in danger. Tbh this is absolutely outrageous and shows the standars we currently have. 20 years ago that kind of product would be canceled . Spending 1k or more for something that almost certainly will have a damaged screen (cause what is actually is) is outrageous. When we transitioned to led and tfts etc we would get a burned pixel or hear about them. Me personally i only got a single burned pixed on a 2002 pc monitor.And since then i had like 15 tv and pc monitors. Also, what you pointed out makes it even more outrageous because if this function according to Sony must not be performed very often and LG or other brands perform it "automatically" means the product itself is designed to reduce it's life cycle forcing you to spend the same or even more money sooner than you expected. Instead of actually fixing the problem, they added a thing that might be not be working in favour of the customer. Thats ingenious ! ;D I am almost 40...and this is outrageous. lol

Where can I find the setting to give our LG C1 OLED? And it's a little too late re the Pixel Cleaner. Why would LG even have a setting like this if it may ruin the set?
That is weird. I had a few stuck pixels when I had my C7. The supposed LG professional on the phone told to use it five or six times in a row and that should help the pixels become unstuck. 🤔 I guess the supposed LG professionals do not know what they are saying. 😮 Thanks for the info! 👍
In such situations then you've got to do what you've got to do,and it is there to sort such issues out. But it's not really intended to be used needlessly on a regular basis.
Did this actually work? I have one stuck pixel that is red, but it's only noticeable when surrounded by dark color. I tried running the manual refresh twice, but it did nothing to resolve the stuck pixel, so it's been sitting there since I got my TV about 3 years ago.

I agree...I just received my 48" C1 and hooked it up to my gaming PC, PS5, and Switch dock...and I love it!!! Both my daughters thought I was nuts to go with such a large screen however now that they've seen it hooked up and in use...they agree it is not overkill. btw - I use a very large harvest table as my desk so I have the space for a 48" monitor/TV.
Hi, The notice to run pixel cleaning pops up every time I switch off and there is no choice there unlike when I switch on where it asks if yes or no. Pl advise. Thanks. 🙏🏻
Have done the manual cleaner a few times in a short period of time and noticed nothing bad.. I have some nasty image retention {only noticeable with red and some grey colors at full screen} that I want to get rid off. Got a bit better than before running the cleaning proces so i will do it again a few times. This 2016 B6 has served me well but I think it's time to say goodbye and buy the 77" B4
Or also what about when TV is asking for it... I cancelled it a few times so can I run it manually because the TV is asking for it every time I started? Plus why is it not set doing it after turn off instead after startup... then user is forced to wait for it instead of that doing it's job after they don't need it

Some people seem to turn their TV off at the mains after use, and I used to do this too until I checked the power being drawn by the TV, after switching off using the remote, and with an in-line power meter connected. After the auto-pixel cleaning has finished (draws around 30W during this op) the power drawn by the TV doesn't register on the meter, which can show a minimum of 0.1W. Effectively zero. I now have the TV on it's own socket and don't turn it off at all. My TV is a OLED 48 C2.
Does the option "Operate once when TV is off" do the same? Which one is "enabled" - the state with text " Cancel schedule" or "Operate once when TV is off"? It is confusing
LG C1 owner. I started manual one but in progress saw this video and interrupted the cleaning progression so it couldn't be completed. Basically, aborted it. Obviously, received the warning the cleaning process hasn't been completed. Now I don't know is it better to abort like I did (so to not impact panel life) or let it finish the cleaning? (Not 100% if I needed a screen cleaning in the first place) Please help
Hi , would you explain why is there a time lapse between powering LG C1 by remote and the tick sound heard from the TV. Is there any automatic pixel cleaning during that period.
I have CORSAIR XENEON FLEX 45WQHD240 45" OLED And it sometimes gives me the following pop-up instruction "Warning It is suggested to run image retention refresh once you have used the oled display for more than 8 hours. The power light will blink amber and white, during the process, which will run approximately 5 minutes." I still don't understand if this is necessary or if it is harmful in the long run???

I have LG CX OLED Tv for 3 years now best way is to keep OLED back light on at 50. Then run pixel refresher every 3 months to keep the burn in off the TV. I have 3300 hours on the tv. If your going to get oled tv just make sure you have dark room. My tv will last about 5 years my friend or long because ppl keep their OLED Light up to 70 or 80 will kill your tv faster.

Just to share my experience with my lg oled tv. LG B7V. Bought it in 2018 and I was of course very happy with it. It does suffer from burn in quite badly lately and that is why I replaced it 2 months ago. I moved the old lg at another room and decided after so many years to run the pixel refresher in case it could improve the burn in situation. That was the worst thing I could do to my tv because right after the refresh the colours were deteriorated and there is a yellow tint all over the panel now and not only where the burn in was . Don’t know why they have this feature available if it destroys the panel right after you do it. So just a piece of advice : NEVER RUN PIXEL REFRESHER ON YOUR LG OLED TV
Prety sure mine does it automatically if the display has been on long enough, it has to be turned off through which I don't do often as I use it for music and it only asks to do the pixel refresher when I turn it on which is inconvenient.

( I had to wait few hours til they gave me the answer from a product specialist. ) But they want thier customers to use their OLED TV as any other TV. The recommendation i got was of course not to run so many times bc it was not necessary and tv will run it self automatically when it's off. But i don't know why i still feel like i fucked up my new TV 😂

I have few queries as I have purchased C2 Oled 2 day before: 1) Wr can not turn of the tv power from power button of remote right? From remote it goes into screen saver/gallery in first press then goes into standby mode right? We need to unplug/switch off the power socket for power of right? 2) Is it ok to put tv in always in standby after watching tv for 15 minutes(so that it can take its pixel clean time which is 10 min) then switch off the main power. Hmmm?? 3) Does pop up of "pixel cleaning done" (if it actually happened in standby mode) appear after tv on on the screen? I have seen this in some of the video.

I mostly listen only to the audio. Then why keep the TV screen ON always? I have a BT transmitter-receiver and a BT speaker. I connect the device to the Set Top Box and carry around the speaker. When I sit before the TV, only then I switch on the TV screen. This is more convenient that using the TV's built-in BT connection. Before I forget - FOLLOWING YOUR ADVICE, I POWER ON THE MAINS IN THE MORNING AND KEEP IT THAT WAY TILL BED TIME.
@@skbachoti you can also keep the TV on with the screen off. When I listen to podcasts on RUclips and I don't care about the video, I just say "turn of the screen" to the LG assistant and it turns of the screen without turning of the TV.
Hello tech giant my lg oled always goes into this panel noise clearing thing everytime i turn it off and it doesnt even finish after many hours and it still wants to do this after many hours when turn tv on and off again. I even did a tv reboot and unplugged it and it still doesnt stop this tv from trying to do this pixel refresher/panel noise clearing. One thing is for sure after many hours i left this tv off and it did this the picture is like super clear and sharp.

@@jamieburstow6236 Great to hear, mine will be use for the PS5, Series S and movies and tv shows only. I wouldn't expect it to run more than 15 - 20 hours a week so I think it could have a pretty satisfying lifespan for an oled.

Just purchased an LG C3 77" OLED and loving it! Looked around on the internet for info on the pixel cleaning. Not much definitive advice from LG. But, then I saw your video, what you say makes sense.
But, my question is, If the TV itself performs a pixel cleaning every 4 hours, why would it hurt for me to do it on a regular basis? It seems the auto tv cleaning every 4 hours would be way more excessive than me doing it periodically.
The auto one that runs after 4 hours, when the screen is in standby mode is only a refresher not a full clean. It's nowhere near as aggressive as a clean. Just wait to be prompted to run the full clean.
So whats difference if the cleaning occurs every day after 4 hour of use compared to one time manually ? If someone watches tv for more than 8 hours a day it will clean 2 times/day isnt that more harmful in the long run too then ?

Concerning the burn-in, to my understanding LG designed he pixel refresher to run automatically after 4 hours of accumulative usage.

@@BlackBullPistol Yeah true.. I had to run the oled refresh manually the same day I got my t.v because it had 2 very noticeable vertical banding lines on the left of the screen. I seriously had no hope that it would help but I ran it before I went to work came home and it was completely gone. I couldn't believe it... the panel is completely clean now so I really lucked out!

Have an older LG65C6P with severe image retention. LG Tech told me t run the manual pixel refresher 5 times. Problems with the panel and pixel retention became much worse after running it the 5 times.
I'm so glad I ran into this video. I bought an LG OLED a week ago and I've already run this "pixel cleaner" at least 5 times because of being paranoid.

Had an LG C9 for three years, zero burn in and ive never used the manual pixel refresher. The process runs after every 4 hours of use, and then it does the manual refresher every 12 months automatically. Only use it if you start to notice some image retention.

iv just got my first oleg (g3) im guessing this 10 min manual pixel cleaning thing that the tv does after every 4 hours of use cant be mistakenly turned off? it has 2 options in the menu, one of them is a one off refresh, then bellow that it has another option that says do often

For someone who hasn't done extensive searching online about this topic, the way it's worded in the TV is that you are recommended to run it regularly, which implies every few days.
My new LG G4 had bad vertical banding out of the box. One manual Pixel refresh fixed like 95% of the banding. It was night and day and kept me from returning it.
LG wouldn't have this option available if using it was going to damage your screen, they would have hid it in the service menu. All it does is readjust the pixel voltage to make sure all the pixels are producing light more evenly.
My new C3 had several vertical bands out of the box. One pixel cleaning fixed them all.

I seriously wish I knew this, I was so worried from burn in because I use it for both a pc and TV that I ran the manual pixel refresher probably 5-10 times in the course of 3 months.

Going from a LED to an OLED is like going back to my Samsung plasma, but in 4K.
My daughter uses our 10 yr old 65" 1080p Samsung plasma for her PS5 (previously PS4), and we still have had no burn in issues despite thousands of hours of gaming.
Same here! I am using the OLED as PC monitor too and what should I say... It is absolutely overwhelming playing Cyberpunk or watching movies!!!!
I ran this once on my TV however when i turned it off it did not last an hour. It seemed to take the same amount of time as the auto refresher, even making the clicking noise after about ten minutes to indicate it was finished. I had the TV on for more than 4 hours before i tried manually pixel cleaning too so i am just wondering if there is a safety feature on these TV's that only run the short pixel cleaner even if you try running the manual one, if it has been turned on for more than 4 hours?
Great video. However, it would have been nice if you went into more detail explaining what exactly pixel refresher does and how it correlates to shortening the life of your display. Also, how does it compare to those YT videos you run for 10+ hours that claim to fix burn in? Anyway, I just ran mine on my LG C3 42" I've had for about 6 months after i noticed burn-in from a video game that has some static images (high brightess white text). Thankfully it fixed the burn-in and looks good as new. I'll definitely be more careful with static images in games and hiding UI elements. Glad the pixel refresher did work and only took about 10 minutes to do so.

2000 hours would mean I would need to run it at least twice a year. I have the TV on in the background while doing other things. Thank you for this information.

I’ve had my LG CX OLED since it came out in 2020 I believe it was and use it heavily for Xbox Series X, PlayStation 5 and watching television and still haven’t had the 2000 hour reminder to run the manual pixel refresh. If I do get it soon after 3 years and I run it and get another 3 years or more of constant use out of it then that’s pretty good going. Likelihood is that I’d potentially be looking to upgrade around then or slightly before if there are any significant improvements or additional features added to newer OLED televisions that the consoles could take advantage of for gaming

However for the longest time when playing Warzone on PS5 or Cold War I could never get the TV to output at 4K 120hz. It would do 4K 120 @ 1080p. Have the latest updates on TV, PS5, and both games. PS5 is set to performance preferred. 120hz turned on via console.
I’ll add I’m also using the 2.1 HDMI that came with the PS5. Finally today I thought I’d turn off HDCP. Whenever I turned that off on the PS5 I can confirm both warzone and cold war now output at 4K 120fps. The only issue is RUclips and other apps won’t launch because I had to turn that off. Have you ran into this?

i don't get it. after 4 hours tv does it automatically after turning it off and you say "it doesnt affect it". but doing it manually it may affect it? btw why on the "quick check" option it says "run pixel cleaning regularly"? it's really confusing.
Definitely an essential bit of viewing for an OLED owner, however all Manufacturers should put a warning and multiple prompts so owners know it’s not something that can be done constantly with no consequence.

I am currently in search of a new tv. Not really a tech or even more a TV guy . My wife loved how these oled looked in a shop.After a 1min search i found about the burn in danger.
Tbh this is absolutely outrageous and shows the standars we currently have.
20 years ago that kind of product would be canceled . Spending 1k or more for something that almost certainly will have a damaged screen (cause what is actually is)

Also, what you pointed out makes it even more outrageous because if this function according to Sony must not be performed very often and LG or other brands perform it "automatically"
means the product itself is designed to reduce it's life cycle forcing you to spend the same or even more money sooner than you expected.
Instead of actually fixing the problem, they added a thing that might be not be working in favour of the customer. Thats ingenious ! ;D

It's on your default, and runs when the TV is in standby, after 4 hours of cumulative usage.
I used the pixel refresher once after just getting my C2, do you think my TV will be ok? I don't plan on manually running the refresher anymore.

That is weird. I had a few stuck pixels when I had my C7. The supposed LG professional on the phone told to use it five or six times in a row and that should help the pixels become unstuck. 🤔 I guess the supposed LG professionals do not know what they are saying. 😮 Thanks for the info! 👍
In such situations then you've got to do what you've got to do,and it is there to sort such issues out.

Did this actually work? I have one stuck pixel that is red, but it's only noticeable when surrounded by dark color. I tried running the manual refresh twice, but it did nothing to resolve the stuck pixel, so it's been sitting there since I got my TV about 3 years ago.

Both my daughters thought I was nuts to go with such a large screen however now that they've seen it hooked up and in use...they agree it is not overkill.
btw - I use a very large harvest table as my desk so I have the space for a 48" monitor/TV.

I have some nasty image retention {only noticeable with red and some grey colors at full screen} that I want to get rid off. Got a bit better than before running the cleaning proces so i will do it again a few times. This 2016 B6 has served me well but I think it's time to say goodbye and buy the 77" B4

I did a manual pixel cleaning just to make sure my tv is in good shape (( only once )), but im concerned of the life spam of the oled panel. Did i do wrong in performing a manual pixel cleaning ? Will my tv get a potential butn in ? . I have LG Oled C1
Some people seem to turn their TV off at the mains after use, and I used to do this too until I checked the power being drawn by the TV, after switching off using the remote, and with an in-line power meter connected. After the auto-pixel cleaning has finished (draws around 30W during this op) the power drawn by the TV doesn't register on the meter, which can show a minimum of 0.1W. Effectively zero. I now have the TV on it's own socket and don't turn it off at all. My TV is a OLED 48 C2.

LG C1 owner. I started manual one but in progress saw this video and interrupted the cleaning progression so it couldn't be completed. Basically, aborted it. Obviously, received the warning the cleaning process hasn't been completed.
Now I don't know is it better to abort like I did (so to not impact panel life) or let it finish the cleaning? (Not 100% if I needed a screen cleaning in the first place)

Yes it will be running it in stanby before properly powering down and you hear the click.

And it sometimes gives me the following pop-up instruction
"Warning
It is suggested to run image retention refresh once you have used the oled display for more than 8 hours.
The power light will blink amber and white, during the process, which will run approximately 5 minutes."
I still don't understand if this is necessary or if it is harmful in the long run???

Yesterday I bought an Lg B2 65” and I watched a movie. Today I browse the tv regulations and I make a manual pixel refresh and then I saw that video so I cancelled it at half an hour more or less. Did I made a terrible mistake ? Did I degrade my Oled’s panel? I am really anxious now
I have LG CX OLED Tv for 3 years now best way is to keep OLED back light on at 50. Then run pixel refresher every 3 months to keep the burn in off the TV. I have 3300 hours on the tv. If your going to get oled tv just make sure you have dark room. My tv will last about 5 years my friend or long because ppl keep their OLED Light up to 70 or 80 will kill your tv faster.

Just to share my experience with my lg oled tv. LG B7V. Bought it in 2018 and I was of course very happy with it. It does suffer from burn in quite badly lately and that is why I replaced it 2 months ago. I moved the old lg at another room and decided after so many years to run the pixel refresher in case it could improve the burn in situation. That was the worst thing I could do to my tv because right after the refresh the colours were deteriorated and there is a yellow tint all over the panel now and not only where the burn in was . Don’t know why they have this feature available if it destroys the panel right after you do it. So just a piece of advice : NEVER RUN PIXEL REFRESHER ON YOUR LG OLED TV

Prety sure mine does it automatically if the display has been on long enough, it has to be turned off through which I don't do often as I use it for music and it only asks to do the pixel refresher when I turn it on which is inconvenient.

I contected the LG service and asked them if it will damage my panel after i ran so many times already ... The answer i got was no. ( I had to wait few hours til they gave me the answer from a product specialist. ) But they want thier customers to use their OLED TV as any other TV. The recommendation i got was of course not to run so many times bc it was not necessary and tv will run it self automatically when it's off. It is on by default and can't be turned off. You will generally hear a click coming from the TV once it is complete.

I have few queries as I have purchased C2 Oled 2 day before:
1) Wr can not turn of the tv power from power button of remote right? From remote it goes into screen saver/gallery in first press then goes into standby mode right?
We need to unplug/switch off the power socket for power of right?
2) Is it ok to put tv in always in standby after watching tv for 15 minutes(so that it can take its pixel clean time which is 10 min) then switch off the main power. Hmmm??
3) Does pop up of "pixel cleaning done" (if it actually happened in standby mode) appear after tv on on the screen? I have seen this in some of the video.

OLED owners should unlearn the old habit of keeping the TV running all the day with no one watching anything in particular.
Even non oled owners, it saves them alot of power.

I mostly listen only to the audio. Then why keep the TV screen ON always? I have a BT transmitter-receiver and a BT speaker. I connect the device to the Set Top Box and carry around the speaker. When I sit before the TV, only then I switch on the TV screen. This is more convenient that using the TV's built-in BT connection.
Before I forget - FOLLOWING YOUR ADVICE, I POWER ON THE MAINS IN THE MORNING AND KEEP IT THAT WAY TILL BED TIME.
@@skbachoti you can also keep the TV on with the screen off. When I listen to podcasts on RUclips and I don't care about the video, I just say "turn of the screen" to the LG assistant and it turns of the screen without turning of the TV.

Hello tech giant my lg oled always goes into this panel noise clearing thing everytime i turn it off and it doesnt even finish after many hours and it still wants to do this after many hours when turn tv on and off again. I even did a tv reboot and unplugged it and it still doesnt stop this tv from trying to do this pixel refresher/panel noise clearing. One thing is for sure after many hours i left this tv off and it did this the picture is like super clear and sharp.
