I was assuming (before I got deeper into this video) that the Halo CE Magnum would come out as superior in fire power, even though I already knew it lacked in speed and stealth, but I was really surprised that the Whispered Truth came out as not only superior but as overall better to use in any game mode then the CE Magnum
I think that a really good idea for Halo 5 (In case it's not already done, I've only been playing for a little while) is Mythic Slayer. all players get random mythic weapons. Or Legendary Slayer, where all players get random legendary reqs. The one thing I hate about the CE magnum is that it's hard to acquire, and the tension is really high when you finally get it because you always have to be really careful not to get owned by some tank or The Answer, or to get stabbed by an active camo zombie during infection.
I believe someone pointed out that technically the CE Magnum is automatic since it'll keep firing as long as the trigger is held down. Nothing earth shattering just a fun bit of trivia.
I noticed a thing On Halo CE the Magnum could out-class any weapon since its a 3 headshot weapon On Halo 5 the magnum become very op and could out class any weapon if used correctly And the "classic fans" are mad because of that but they still want thr M6D magnum back

In simple terms Semi-auto means for each pull of a trigger the weapon fires one shot, then automatically cycles to eject the spent shell and chamber another. At this point the trigger must be fully released to reset the sear and fire again. However, Whispered Truth clearly fires 3 rapid shots for each trigger pull, meaning it has a "burst pack" sear, which is usually a gear like rotating block that keeps the weapon cycling and firing until a certain "tooth" is engaged (there's easy to find videos of how this works). So rather than saying Semi-Auto, it should say Burst Fire
One thing to mention, even though the M6D can be held down to fire, it is inaccurate like the one from halo ce. However, in halo 5, you can spam it instead of holding the trigger down to get 100% accuracy, I hope 343 will fix this soon, but as for now, it still works.
The Halo CE Magnum should've had a jump boost like the SPNKr Prime, just to give a bit more nostalgia. Also, the Halo CE magnum doesn't have a speed boost for forge, strange.

The M6D (CE Magnum) is the ONLY true Magnum in Halo 5. The rest are pistols. What is a 'Magnum'? Heavy, large pistol with excessive stomping power, and a high recoil. Think Magnum in Resident Evil = killed nearly anything in 1-3 shots, more powerful than the shotgun. The standard "Magnum" in H5 is no where near qualified for the title Magnum. The 3 shot perfect kill with higher recoil of the M6D is the closest Magnum we have in Halo 5.
@@bobthepancake2870 Doesn't mean they couldn't have added detailing into the metal. Case in point, the SPNKR rocket launcher. It's got an updated look to fit in with Halo 5s art style. But for some reason the CE magnum cant get the same treatment?

Jorge Vera Yeah! I used this but instead of a weapon with boost Speed I used the Vorpal Talon and with the double thrust you can run into a base and kill everyone and they can't even shoot you!

Am I the only one who thinks the M6D (Halo CE) looks just a tad out of place when compared to the amor with regards to graphics quality? To me it looks the same as in CE only its image was merely sharpened as opposed to its graphics being updated like all the other weapons.

'Idle animations' - your Spartan will mess around with weapons if you don't move for some time (usually ~30 seconds).
the M6D animation is mimicking the one from CE, you tighten the Smart Scope bolts that keep it on the gun.
