Damn can't believe that even in the year 2560 or whenever Infinite takes place, people still know Hamlet and Shakespeare. He truly did find a way to live forever.
I imagine it'll be pretty tough for most of our current literature to be lost forever--although depending on how much new stuff is made in the next 500 years, it definitely could be a lot harder to pick and choose between it all.
Yeah, I was noticing that. I wonder if that's like, a part of their weapons manuals? Like: "Remove from charging station. Open heat sinks, ensure vents are clear of dust and debris. Close sinks. The weapon is now ready to fire."
I love how some of the covenant and many forerunner guns it seems like the spartan is a bit confused/unsure of what to do with it, but the unsc guns are all super clean and confident
Get 3 kills with the oddball and you’ll get an achievement called “A fellow of Infinite Jest” that is a reference to Yorick. I think the 3 kills you have to get reference the 3 people Hamlet kills with his own hands by the end of the play, Polonius, Laertes and Claudius.
They definitely need to add an animation with the Needler where you’re Spartan touches the tip of one of the needles, pokes himself accidentally, and shakes his hand off.
I’m so happy that the Rocket Launcher and Assault Rifle still keep their name from the Marathon trilogy. The VK78 Command might be a new reference to the trilogy, although the weapon it seems to be referencing is a bit different than it.
@Twisted Cogitamentum Eeehhhh yeah that might be a bit of a stretch to call the commando a reference to that gun. Still though, it is always nice to come across a fellow Marathon fan. Also, I don't know about you, but those faceless tank tread cyborg enemies in Marathon Durandal and Infinity are some of the creepiest enemies I've encountered in a video game.
They're okay, but mostly all the same. For UNSC weapons, the spartan observes each side of the weapon slowly. For Covenant weapons, they open the heating vents and look inside for a second. I wish there was more interaction with the weapons, like how the idle animations in Apex Legends have many of the guns being opened up and or toyed with.
Heatwave animation, the Spartan is just: “huh? It’s doing a thing. Uhhh. Is this okay? Should it be doing this?? Oh, it stopped. Well, if it works, it works.”
Look to the left. Look to the right. Gotta say these gun alright. Unless it's the heatwave, this gun confuses me. And I like how the spartan make sure his last rocket is loaded.
god the amount of detail they put in the weapons is amazing to me, they have internals for the plasma pistol, and the gravity hammer have the banished symbol carved on the blade, you would never notice that shit unless you were looking
I love how much personality is actually in the halo infinite animations. The spartans are all procedural with the human weapons they're used to, but tend to look a bit longer at the banished weapons (especially the new ones), and just have no idea what to think of the forerunner guns
I think it was a cool, probably unintentional touch to have the spartans confidently play around with weapons they are familiar with (UNSC/ex-covenant weapons because of peace with swords of sanghelios) while carefully pressing around, or just looking at more unfamiliar banished/forerunner weapons.
I like how for the UNSC weapons they don’t really play with it because they already know what it does and they have experience with them already but with all the alien guns they play with them a little bit because they don’t know what they are
I love the Heatwave's a lot, back in the older Halo's the idle animations for the Covenant weaponry was similar to it, but it makes sense Spartans are familiar with the tech by now so it only makes sense to swap that confusion over to Forerunner stuff.
This game desperately needs some DLC weapons. There are so many classics that are missing from _Halo: Infinite._ The Magnum, DMR, SMG, Grenade Launcher, Spartan Laser, Brute Plasma Rifle, Carbine, Beam Rifle, Fuel Rod Cannon... this would be the first Halo game that hasn't featured the Fuel Rod Cannon as a playable weapon since the original Xbox release of _Halo: Combat Evolved._ There's also some guns from _Halo 5: Guardians_ that I wouldn't mind seeing back, like Void's Tear and Prophet's Bane, plus REQ vehicles like the ONI, Ultra, and Temple variants.
I think Infinite is trying to have a sandbox without using all the old weapons, though I will admit I would like to see a game mode with the original itterations of weapons like CE Magnum in the same sandbox as 2 BR and just other OP shit.
@@KiruuCh I say that should be the standard for battlepasses. It eliminates FOMO and it doesn't require grinding! Just go at your own pace and unlock what interests you!
Most of the banished and forerunner idle animations are great. The human ones are a bit boring. Pull back a slide, inspect a chamber, turn a dial on a scope, something.
I like the heatwave animation, it just starts doing something and the spartan is looking at it like "the hell is this thing doing? Oh wait it stopped, anyways."

I'm counting next idle/imspect animation showcase to full version...
these will work as pretty good inspect animations tho, hope 343i adds this feature soon!
Cool Animations!
Dude reply plz
They put idle animations for the objective objects despite the fact you really shouldn’t be standing still while holding it, amazing
youve never been in a hotdog war in ctf i see
Ever just camp in the corner with the oddball
i mean there is one area you can hide in in launch site
idk if it only works with low gravity but it probably does need it

Oddball you do. Camp and let your team protect you haha
The heatwave idle animation is so funny. The spartans looks at the spinning thing and is wondering "What do i do with this?".
Is it... supposed to do that?

There's so much personality in these animations
With the nostalgia around this game, I was expecting the player to pat the scope of the sniper like in halo 1
