@@mikeakersa8566 there is one AK model that has a bolt catch, the Zastava M70. only one tho, because bolt catches definetly go against the AKs design as AKs are made to be as cheap and easy to use as possible

Truth is, weapons have started to become more streamlined since they now understand what the most definitive designs are, and what a soldier is going to have the most comfort with. It’s kind of like how pistols have all derived from Browning’s M1911 design.
There are more people who have been honoured with Nobel Peace Prizes than those who've got all the Black Market weapons from supply drops in this game. It's a grind :P

The bolt release isn't on the magazine. The bolt release most likely is in the trigger guard in front of the trigger, similar to many modern HK firearms like the (experimental) XM8 and the G36
the sound design for the weapon foley is just really lazy, like they went on BOOM library, took a bunch of sounds, changed nothing to them and called it a day. other games do this too with their weapon foley (rising storm 2/killing floor 2/csgo) and some of their weapon fire audio. some of them were even reused from bo1 and bo2 lol.
It's sucks terribly imo. The sounds were so underwhelming and non-authentic. Many guns had the same sounds. 90% of the reloads were exactly the same. The cosmetics were so unnecessarily overtexturized and overdone just to appear futuristic. This whole game was just a cheap ripoff of titanfall. Very lackluster overall. Zombies however was well done.
I agree with the actual animations looking pretty meh. Too stiff and motionless for Me. But for sounds, it's kinda hard to make sounds of metal and plastic n shit colliding and scraping or whatever to sound different, and with actual guns most sound pretty alike IIRC so it's kinda a non issue imo.

They watched feedback for this game that’s why TDM ends in 100 instead of 75 because everyone asked them, and they promptly never tried doing that again
I forget where I saw it, but I remember that when the 1911 came out a dev explained thag there was some kind of animation/scripting issue involving sliding that made it they couldn't have pistol slides lock back.
Treyarch really needs to replace the Audio Director for their games. He has been in charge of every single one of their CoD entries, and it shows with their lazy sound design. The amount of reused and tinny sounds baffles the mind.
If you’re talking about reload sounds, then fine, but if you’re talking about gun sounds then I mist heavilly disagree when it comes to BO3. Every weapon actually has it’s own identity just coming from sounds in BO3. Bare in mind this doesn’t apply to all cods.
Infinity Ward set a new bar for sound design and animations with Modern Warfare. It makes it hard for me to want to play Cold War unless they make some big changes from the alpha.
I always liked how much effort they give to those animations; normal, fast and extended magazine. They all look different, but some of them were reused from older Cods tho.
And now you have MW with an animation variation for every grip/mag/optic/barrel length/sleight of hand - custom anims/ADS/stowing mag and throwing mag. Hundreds of anims for hundreds of different attachment combos.
Legend has it, a deadass pointed his glorious Olympia at the Brecci crowd and destroyed them all. Only for the Brecci to come back when the deadass went like " ight imma server hop "
The worst part is is that unlike Infinite Warfare, you cannot unlock these guns through challenges. You either pay up thousands for a chance for something, or get nothing at alll. Or, you know, take them off the guys who do have them. That also works.

And at least in Infinite Warefare you could legitimately unlock the base variant of the gun, something MW2019 also allows you to do. Here, you're forced to use the loot box system in order to have a pathetic chance at getting a few of these weapons. Considering BO3 has a modding community on PC, I wouldn't mind a total conversion mod that bypasses this stupid system and allows you to use the weapons freely as unlocks.

And it doesn't matter if there WAS supply drop only weapons, the point is that this whole "Play Slots for Guns" should not exist in the first place. Even if the guns are balanced (Which some of them aren't), you're still locking gameplay content behind a microtransaction that you only have a small chance of getting.

This was my first COD. I liked it a lot when it first came out, up until they locked the very first new weapons behind loot boxes. It was all downhill from there. I stopped playing it even though I had all of the map packs. It sucked. The weapon designs were so good too. I loved the Locus.
The only cod I’ve gotten 100% completion on. Every weapon dlc and all, every skin for everything and every achievement..... I’m never getting those 4 years back

Looking back, these reloads are pretty bad compared to COD games now but the DLC guns and even some of the base guns have kinda cool reloads, and definitely have some detail. Most of them are none too impressive though.
Honest there should have been a mix of bo2 weapons along side new weapons in the base gun selection you know? Like the first AK was made in 1947 and is still used today, so it would make sense to see for example the an-94 or a slightly future oat version of it than the Kn-44 or whatever it was called.

This video made me quite nostalgic actually, because BO3 was my first serious COD game. Before that, I had played Advanced Warfare (and very poorly) on the older gen of console. When I upgraded to the Xbox One, this game was the first purchase. I loved this game, and I honestly want to start playing it again. There was just something about it for me that makes it so special.
I'm over a year late but I agree with this. For me I feel like we haven't peaked graphically since BO3 and arguably MW19. There was something about BO3's color palette that was just so eye-catching.
How am I just now noticing the subtle reload animations between each gun? I knew there were differences for each mag attachment, but I guess I wasn't paying enough attention. This video just makes me appreciate the game more. It's actually a solid title, I just wish they made a campaign that made sense

Pretty much everything was good when I played this game setting aside the fact that 85% of the weapons in multiplayer were integrated into supply drops.

COD: MW makes every other COD weapon reloads and sounds sound like toys or mediocre at best. Treyarch uses 12 sounds for a collection of 50+ weapons.

I was thinking that if someone could make something similar for multiplayer, that would help make the rest of the actual $60 game worth something.
And it doesn't matter if there WAS supply drop only weapons, the point is that this whole "Play Slots for Guns" should not exist in the first place. Even if the guns are balanced (Which some of them aren't), you're still locking gameplay content behind a microtransaction that you only have a small chance of getting.

Best reloads animations
This was my first COD. I liked it a lot when it first came out, up until they locked the very first new weapons behind loot boxes. It was all downhill from there. I stopped playing it even though I had all of the map packs. It sucked. The weapon designs were so good too. I loved the Locus.

These animations are all over the place in quality, some are good, but many of the DLC weapons are either reused or reaaally bad (RPK).
Every bolt release sound effect is the most quiet “click” I’ve ever heard

Looking back, these reloads are pretty bad compared to COD games now but the DLC guns and even some of the base guns have kinda cool reloads, and definitely have some detail. Most of them are none too impressive though.

Its sucks that the only "futuristic" looking guns on base bo3 are 2 shotguns and 2 sniper rifles and the actual future weapons are dlc
Honest there should have been a mix of bo2 weapons along side new weapons in the base gun selection you know? Like the first AK was made in 1947 and is still used today, so it would make sense to see for example the an-94 or a slightly future oat version of it than the Kn-44 or whatever it was called.

This video made me quite nostalgic actually, because BO3 was my first serious COD game. Before that, I had played Advanced Warfare (and very poorly) on the older gen of console. When I upgraded to the Xbox One, this game was the first purchase. I loved this game, and I honestly want to start playing it again. There was just something about it for me that makes it so special.
I'm over a year late but I agree with this. For me I feel like we haven't peaked graphically since BO3 and arguably MW19. There was something about BO3's color palette that was just so eye-catching.

How am I just now noticing the subtle reload animations between each gun? I knew there were differences for each mag attachment, but I guess I wasn't paying enough attention. This video just makes me appreciate the game more. It's actually a solid title, I just wish they made a campaign that made sense
