You go into settings and make sure the pro controller wired communication is on and then go into change grip/ order and click the l and r buttons and it should connect
Y'know I got this controller specifically to play Splatoon because it said it had motion controls and I'm so devastated to get it out of the box and realize that it doesn't even have gyro
it actually does work on Switch LITE i have one, theres a setting on the switch that needs to be turned on in order for the controller to work. and ur gonna have to buy a adapter for the usb, so a usb to usb c adapter
Out of the box, it isn't compatible. Most people are not going to buy an adapter to get a $16 Walmart controller to work on their Switch Lite. They would spend a few extra bucks and buy a PowerA or PDP one that will be no hassle and will work out of the box.
@@RedBandanaGaming i agree on that, but saying it doesn’t work at all isn’t true. it does work but you would have to buy additional adapter, which is good to know for the people who already have this controller.
Hey I've found a glow in the dark fully wired controller with 1up mushrooms printed on green, i believe that pdp made it, if you are willing to try it out. Also, it has a jack input for headphones.
I know this is an old video, but does the rumble always go off like that? Mine had zero rumble out of box. I needed the rumble and vibrations for Super Smash.
It got to the point that it was kinda random. This is not a good controller. You can buy a better one on Amazon that doesn't have these issues for the same price.
I currently have this controller. I just bought it today for my switch lite and I figured out that it required an adapter from what people commented. I have an adapter, but it still doesn’t work. Nothing comes on or lights up. How sad.
I bought one of these about a week ago. It surprised the hell outta me that onn makes game controllers now. I wasn't even looking to buy a new controller. I was just in the Nintendo Switch isle looking at games when I saw this. The low price of around $16 caught my eye and left me with very little hope for it, but I bought it anyways because I kinda like the brand. The controller actually feels really good.
I just got mine and found this video to figure out why when you hold the turbo button it goes all the LEDs light up, turns out if you hold it down you can controll the volume with the d pad i had head phones in, ill have to try without. (Edit it only works with headphones in)
That's a normal thing. I've tested a number of controllers in the past that work that way with headsets. But this controller has proven to be a bit wonky since I've made this video.
Hey don’t knock the Walmart brand lol, they do goods cables and tvs. I have the onn/Roku tv, and great value makes good food. But this is too late, knowing that the switch 2 is probably coming next year, unless all the switch controllers work with the switch 2. 😊
Go to system settings on your Switch, then controllers and sensors, then turn on Pro Controller Wired Communication. That will enable wired controllers to work on the Switch.
How do you connect it please tell me
Same
You go into settings and make sure the pro controller wired communication is on and then go into change grip/ order and click the l and r buttons and it should connect
Okay yeah I already had the settings set for pro controllers, I got this specifically to play stardew co-op with my son and it is not working.
@@jaimemesbiscuits thank you!
@@jaimemesbiscuits i did all this... the controller just doesn't turn on idk why

That sucks, but at least we now know it's not just the one I bought. It's now considered false advertising. I highly suggest returning it.
I bought two of these and neither one would connect to my switch after plugging in 😟 I’ll be returning and buying a different brand
Make sure you turn on Switch Pro wired controller communication in the system menu. That usually clears up that issue.
Oh my gosh. My kids, husband and I have been trying to figure this out for hours. I read your comment and it worked!!! Thank you 😂
Same here! 😂😂 Thank you so much!
@@RedBandanaGaming THANK YOU SO MUCH
@@RedBandanaGamingso I’ve done this and it still won’t connect. Is there anything else I need to do? It doesn’t even light up when I plug it in
You actually can connect it to the switch lite if you have a certain adapter.
This doesn't come with it, so no, you can't. So it is NOT compatible out of the box.
But it works

With the switch lite you need a type of little usb which has usb c to usb it really works its very great
Correct, but it doesn't include it and most people aren't going out of their way to get it, especially if they bought this controller to save money.
@@RedBandanaGaming yes this is true

I just picked up the Zelda wireless version of it yesterday that just released. I'll be making a video on it this week.

It diesnt say anything about gyro control I think
You need a dongle for it to work on Switch Lite
Awesome video looks good for the cheap and hey it’s comes with instructions but I pass that two straight bad controllers
Yeah, crazy that it comes with instructions, unlike PDP these days. Lol

It paired but i can hear the audio BUT CANT USE THE CONTROLLER ITS SELF
How do I use this on a PC?
Mine has light one and three on and I change settings and still won’t work.
I’m thinking bout buying one any other flaws bout it !?
So i tried the wired pro setting and mine still wont connect, what do i do?

How do you fix stick drift
Hey i was wondering how you got your controller to work on a game because my controller works on the home menu but on a game it doesnt function at all
Make sure you go into your controller settings and make sure to on the wired pro controller setting.
I did but its not working in a game for some reason
how to connet to nintendo lite
It's a great controller my fortnite with its all the time take a day or 2 to get used to it but it's great

@@RedBandanaGaming let me know when there's something suspicious with the great value orange juice
How do you use this controller mine lites up but it won't do anything it just goes green and I can't move or anything
I had a similar problem but fixed it by going to setting and controller sensors and put pro controller wired communication on.

The packaging does not say that it has the function of a gyroscope, I think Precision 3D Motion Controls does not mean the meaning of gyroscope.
Other companies have used the same phrasing for motion controls before. I have covered enough controllers to know what terminology companies use.
Will this controller work for a Xbox one
No. It's for Switch.
How can I get it to power on for my PC ?
How do i pair this to the switch
It doesn't pair. It's a wired controller. You plug it in to the the dock.
Would it work kn a laptops
yes
Is there a way to adjust the speed for the turbo button?
i was looking for this answer too
