In those conrete blocks this is the norm, that everything is broken and falling apart.

Nikita Khruschev (sorry for spelling) visited the United States in the 80s, I believe, and he couldn't believe all the food available at a supermarket. He was completely blown away by it. He was a communist.
Do you know why we have shelves full of food? Full of medicine? You can order food from your phone? Do you know why the United States has the best health care (though most expensive unfortunately), that you're able to sit in front of your phone, fat and unhealthy, and complain about how communism is better. I hate these people. I hate that they vote. I hate how much influence they have. We're losing our nation, and we're just letting this happen.

By this I don't want to say that all socialist blockhouses in Hungary are good because those tízemeletes piles of shit are HORRID, but if you look a bit closer into it, there were tendencies where social aspects were taken into consideration (every block area having a park, playground, school, shop, pharmacy and there were well placed "mini centers" with post office etc.) and tendencies where only the quotas really counted

You said it in 2 seconds: capitalism promotes competition. People that ignorantly support and promote communism don't want to compete. They don't want to have to try or develop skills or put time and effort into bettering themselves. They just want an absurd "minimum" for everyone for doing nothing. The new president of Argentina summed this up well in an interview, it was blunt and a little harsh but accurate. Every woke liberal group is mad they aren't as good, and instead of trying, competing, taking control of themselves they want to destroy the people and groups that do. It's not about equal rights, it's about wanting special treatment because they don't want to do the work everyone else has to do. Not one of these people would last a year in an actual communist or socialist society, the second they didn't pull their weight or they pull the victim card they'd be locked up.

I just love Bernie bros myself, i love hearing how socialism works in places like Sweden and Norway and Finland. Because i am a Swede and today Sweden, Norway and Finland are more capitalistic then the USA is. We regularly clock in as the top 15 most capitalistic countries in the world today and USA comes in at place 25.
Sweden tried to get socialism to work for a long long time and it didnt, Sweden became poorer and poorer every year and the people of Sweden became poorer and poorer every year too. We had around 5% inflation for many many years, and our income grew by 0,5% per year it was state mandated. A lot of lazy people choose to retire early because then you got your state funded pension, so the state of course stopped that, nor could you save money to retire early either because you a large portion of the taxes you paid went into your retirement fund, but the state spent that money on other things instead so the younger working generation had to pay taxes so you could get a pension and the state mandated retirement age was 65, if you choose to retire when you were 64 your pension was roughly 20% lower, nor is it a lot of money.
Ingemar Bergman a very successful director had to flee Sweden because his income tax was 104% if he made $100 he had to pay $104 in taxes. Socialism works in exactly the same way you can drink cyanide to lose weight.

The main problem of supporters of any ideology, no matter communism or capitalism, is that they see only good intentions, but in practice everything comes up against the imperfections of human nature.
Soviet communism, no matter how terrible it was considered, in its initial impulse had good intentions, to let people manage their own lives and develop the space around them. But as a result, people received not only the total elimination of illiteracy, industrialization, the development of science, after all, it was the USSR that was the first to fly into space, but also the fight against dissent that gripped all layers of society with well-known results.
Also, modern American capitalism, no matter how good it is considered, was the child of post-WW2 financial adventures, seeking to spread throughout the world by any means, for which people became only collateral damage on the way to achieving the American dream. And although initially the intentions were also good, now we see poverty, the decline of education, crime, manipulation of society through the media, gerantocracy, about the same as what happened in the USSR at the end of its life, but with Apple, Amazon and Tesla.

If Americans say communism worked, they refer to the minor workers rights they fought and died for between 1900-1940 ( there first bombs on America were actually dropped on striking (slave labor conditions) coal miners in 1919, because they dared to demand human rights. So the first American bombs on American ground was capitalists bombing their slaves into submission for daring up. This is the communist part Americans refer to.
They were killed and mutilated, but the survivorsers got some rights. The movement took pace and American workers got prosperous until the 1950's, the American dream, built on murdering your own civilians, but they got the bit of " communism"
That went for 30 years, and coupling, murdering, fascisticizing other countries wasn't really bringing money home to the us anymore, they started to bring slavery back home and took a total U-turn to Reaganism and neo-liberslsm.
I'm from eastern Germany, I BY ALL MEANS KNOW WHAT THE SOVJETS DID, but imagine my surprise, that the so called "freedom and democracy" geivers were just as bad, if not worse, given the global scope of destruction.

COMMUNISM HAS IT'S OWN ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES,SO I WON'T SAY IT'S ALL THAT BAD. I THINK MOST PPL HAVE BAD VIEWS ABOUT COMMUNISM CUZ OF JOSEPH STALIN.
CAPITALISM ALSO HAS IT'S OWN BENEFITS TOO AND DISADVANTAGES. SO NO SYSTEM OF GOVERNMENT IS ACTUALLY 100% PERFECT

No. It all starts with Marx. His observasion was okay but his conclusions were wrong, so marxism is wrong. It's a dangerous religion.
The problem isn't capitalism, the problem is greed and corruption which also exists in communist societies, even worse.

Regarding the issue about apartments, they have a long association with Communism and many of the earliest examples were built in the Soviet Union. Their forms were stark, bland, featureless, giving rise to a litany of social problems ranging from alienation and loss of individuality and community, this architectural form was a favourite among many Communist leaning designers throughout the last century.

My testimony: After being an atheist for 8+ years, and "married" to another female, I got the urge one day to say out loud "IF there is an Almighty God that does NOT wish us pain or sorrow, please bring me truth, I wish to know you exist". Then God immediately started bringing me the answers I had been searching 8-11 YEARS for! I witnessed Him take control of my internet and the rest of my reality; He first proved to me that demons exist (I called them "inter-dimensional beings"), then He proved His own existence, which I later found to be Jesus Christ. As soon as I found Jesus at the end of 2020, He IMMEDIATELY took away my transgenderism, bisexuality, depression, daily suicide attempts, self harm, bulimia and anorexia; and He did this all without me asking Him to, because THAT'S how merciful and loving He is! Praise God!!

I am from Europe and the whole "all new buildings looking the same" is happening here too. I don't know how much is
due to capitalism, what I do know from talking with architects is that there's a strong global modern minimalism
trend and the more basic the shapes the more everything ends up looking the same. Also with the use of standard
building materials, prefabrication techniques, and modular construction systems, most buildings share similar
    characteristics.

    • @PhilipMarcYT

The whole "I'm from Europe" makes no sense because Europe is a continent, not a country so by saying that you'd be saying you're between borders so from not an actual country. lmao

@@PhilipMarcYT I don't know if you noticed, but even though Europe is made of many different countries and cultures, we are all close enough that sometimes have similar cultures or share the same language and customs etc. We definitely share a lot more things among us than with U.S.A. Back in the Soveiet Union times it was considered as breaking a law if someone hadn’t a job. And everyone had to be at work. For example, when someone was shopping in store in the middle of the day then militia (police) could charge you or arrest you. And if someone might ask, why were the stores open then in the middle of the day. Well, because the workers of the store had to be at work also. Like everybody else.
