Our flight today begins in the terminal at Helsinki Airport, Finland. We walk to the gate and are soon called for boarding of this afternoon's flight to London Gatwick. We board a bus and are taken to a remote gate where we board our aircraft that will take us to London.
We are soon cleared to start and pushback, and begin our taxi to the runway. We are delayed slightly due to a technical fault with the aircraft's computers, but after a hold of around 10 minutes we are on our way again, and make a beautiful departure from Helsinki.
We fly across Finland and Sweden, hitting a spot of turbulence as we climb away from Helsinki. We cross Northern Germany and the Netherlands before crossing the North Sea towards the UK. We commence our descent towards London and make a beautiful sunset approach, touching down on runway 08L on a gorgeous autumn evening. We disembark the aircraft and exit the terminal.

What you have done with the AirNav radar box is really good, because it lets you see at a glance where exactly the plane is on it's flight path and just helps you keep tabs.
You have also been quite clever in your positioning of the box, in the bottom left (South West) corner of your picture because it's not really obscuring too much of the bigger picture.

That was nice of the cabin crew to announce that there's 60 minutes until they touchdown at London Gatwick so they would be coming through with the drinks trolley one last time before the aircraft begins it's descent towards the British capital.

Announcement from the cabin crew that we would be landing in about 50 minutes after having made up time despite the late takeoff.

Awesome, you are running out of chances to fly on the 747, why not try BA they are phasing them out in a few years time (or perhaps Qantas to Australia?)

I tracked the very last United 747 flight for my weekly tracking, from takeoff to landing. I was listening to the ATC for the flight too. About 200 people was listening to the ATC at SFO and HNL! One of them was me.
Now, it's heading to the graveyard in Victorville, CA. I took a look at your 747 videos too. We still got British Airways, KLM, Lufthansa and others, they all are retiring around 2020.
By the way, you could finally book the jetBlue flights to St. Maarten on your 24 hour layover between the Primera Air flights. There are no direct flights from BOS > SXM, you have to connect at JFK. On the way to Newark, no flights direct to Newark Airport. You could go into JFK with jetBlue or Delta. Hurry and get the seats! 💺
Hey! Such a shame about United's 747. They are awesome planes and sad to see them going off to the desert. I did check but SXM-EWR is about £500! Instead I've booked BOS-SJU on JetBlue, then returning in first class on United's 767. I hope this is OK :)

I think I am right in thinking that it's the Boeing 737-800 that KLM have been using for their short-haul flights (inside Europe).
But for their next order of narrow-body airliners they like Qantas have opted to go for the Airbus. Without a doubt I would imagine that the decision was strongly linked to the 737 - 8 MAX fiasco, which saw Boeing being investigated and a former employee exposing the fact that Boeing put profits before safety.
The minute anything of that nature becomes public knowledge particularly in the aviation industry then your airline manufacturering company will never fully recover and quite rightly so because it's a question of trust.
No drinks? Snacks? Lunch? Wow!
It's a low cost airline. You have to buy it if you want it.

Hey! I used to play MS Flight Sim. I started with FS95 when it came out in 1996, then FS98, FS2000, FS2002, FS2004, and finally FSX! I built it into a complete set up with every add on imaginable, but I last played flight sim around 2010 when my son was born. These days I have Infinite Flight on my phone and iPad and play them from time to time :)

Okay, I was mildly freaking out during the turbulence from the comfort of my own home.
1:9:10 is that sped up or is that real?!
Nope real time :) . It was pretty brutal turbulence!
inflight Video dang!! that was crazy. the plane was flapping back and forth and the cabin was shaky everywhere and the flight attendants seemed pretty panicky over the PA. i didn’t see anyone scared. if i was there i’d be crying. i hate turbulence lol. but it only looked to last a few mins.
Yep it was pretty bad, a couple of passengers were queuing for the restroom and got thrown to the floor, but fortunately they weren't hurt too bad. It cleared up after a couple of minutes - and later the captain came on to advise that it was clear air turbulence and was unexpected - but was a perfect reminder of why they recommend to keep our belts fastened!
