Our flight today begins outside the terminal at Menorca's Mahon International Airport. We enter the terminal and proceed through security to the departure lounge, where we await our flight to arrive from Birmingham. Our aircraft soon arrives, and we are called for boarding. Once onboard we soon taxi to the runway and take off to the north, heading out over the Mediterranean Sea towards France. We get a great view of the entire of France from Marseille on the south coast up to the north coast, before we cross the English Channel and get stunning views of the city of London. Soon we commence our descent and make an approach over Milton Keynes and Coventry before landing on schedule on runway 33 at Birmingham. We disembark the aircraft and walk through the terminal to the kerb side.

I was 16 when this video first came out dreaming to one day work for jet2 well let's just say I started off at ground crew and took a huge gap and I am now on my final exams as a pilot in training

i know im late but just so you know the a321 is known to be one of the safest planes in aviation. it has one of the smallest crash histories of all airliners.

Have you been on a Jet2 Boeing 737 yet Because I’m going on one from East Midlands to Gran Canaria and back on flight LS669 and LS670 on 27th October to 3rd November 2019.

You’re welcome, thanks for watching! We had a few really nice days but a few cloudy days too :(. And yes this was the first time. Airlines all over the world, in war zones and African countries too, and the first time is om a British airline! I learned after that Jet2 forbid all filming on their flights officially - so one to avoid in the future!

Literally flew with jet2 yesterday . Super impressed lovely staff . Only down fall 30 mins delay and didn't Finish all of there 2nd food cart run . Check in etc smooth and transfer. Am I wrong to be impressed with those slight problems noel?

Last time I was at that airport my flight was supposed to take off a 12.35 but was delayed until boarding at 18.45!

I just realised a few months ago jet 2 was ordering airbusses!
They are operated on behalf of SmartLynx for summer lease, its not an order as it isnt a Jet2 aircraft, Jet2 cabin crew but smartlynx cabin and pilots
In my opinion, merging the two terminals witb a centralised security area and meet & greet area as a huge mistake. Other than that, great video

Nothing worse than a screaming child on a Plane
This video is 360p and I know why, long videos take up space. You don’t need to reduce quality from 1080p to 360p, just download “Handbrake” and it will encode a video that is 30GB - 12GB mabey even less, grate video as well Please take this advice, I want to see your channel grow.

Used to be a fantastic Burger King at Menorca Airport,for some unknown reason they closed it down.
I am flying on Jet 2 in a couple of days and I would just like to ask, does the A321 have the Jet 2 menu and inflight-magazine (This is only if I get put on a A321 because I have never flown Jet 2 before)

How you do upload these videos to RUclips? It must take like a day to upload these! But I think it’s awesome that you do these because it makes me excited to travel to other places :D
It takes a while depending on the length of the video. Usually it takes about half the length of the video to upload, then it takes RUclips a while to process into all the different formats. All in all usually a few hours, a few days for the super long ones though.
All depends on upload speed lol and how fast RUclips process it
Great video! So pleased Jet2 now have an A321, even if it is just for summer. So when boarding, that sticker that says operated by Smartlynx Airlines. Are there any Smartlynx cabin crew or is it all Jet2? Obviously the pilots are from Smartlynx. Did they say much? All I heard was 'cabin crew seats for take-off'? usually Jet2 pilots give you route they will take and info on the flight. thanks!
Samuel Knight Yup the pilots are from Smartlynx as Jet2 pilots don't have dual operating for airbus aircraft. Crew attendants are Jet2.
Jet2 pilots would not be operating the aircraft even if they were licensed to fly the airbus types as it is a ‘damp’ lease, and the flight crew are always those of the owner/operator of the aircraft.
You could see as they were boarding, that the majority of the cabin crew are from Jet2, and there are 1-2 from SmartLynx themselves.

Hi I watch a lot of your videos and they are great,I was just wandering how you get screen with the speed,distance flown,and altitude up while your flying
Most planes I’ve been on that have entertainment screens built in the back of seats have the flight data you’ve mentioned as well as outside temp. It’s available from the home screen where you can select media options

@@seanwallace1972I've seen the built in entertainment screens on shorter distance flights as well, but they're not always switched on/ available for use. Cheaper carriers (easy jet, ryanair, wizz, eurowings) I've flown n Europe don't usually have them onboard on flights, if there's anything available its via a horrendous app or ipad which dont have the flight data info..
I'm based in Australia, when flying to Europe or North America (Emirates, Qatar, Qantas, Etihad, United, China Southern)the entertainment screens are flight data have always been available.. Same usually across the Tasman, unless Qantas decide to downgrade everyone's entertainment
What i remember from Jet2 is having very old aircrafts... and them allows you to carry about 25 kg per person

Unfortunately, it's in the script they have to read. They're also given targets to meet, miss the target and questions are asked....the first one being "Did you read the script?"
In-flight stores are very rarely cheaper than the high street these days. Less so on an intra-EU flight. Poor sod still has to read it though.

Is that seat in First Class? Also, how did they get that child to finally calm down? Did he wear himself out? (I assume it was a boy, but I very well could be wrong. Also, I love your family. By the way, I'm using Microsoft Edge now, too, which gives me the ability to read and respond to comments now. For a wile there, I couldn't do either while using Google Chrome, because Google blocked me even though I had no violations or strikes against me. I've also used FireFox which is a great browser. Because they're an open-source browser, they can really cut out all the political and corporate malarchy and work with us on making that browser the most accessible browser on the web. It really says a lot, and so far, they're exceeding our expectations. It really helps everybody also, because they're making the web not only accessible but easier to use, and for the blind, this is a win, win situation. I really hope Google, Microsoft and all other browsers will follow their example. Also, I may have found you a fabulous way to improve the audio quality of all your future videos. It's call mixxx, and it's free. I'm not using it yet, because I already paid for FX Audio Enhancer. I still may take advantage of it, as long as it's keyboard accessible, since blind users can't use the mouse to click on or change any settings. Apparently Mixxx has both a player and a recorder, but I haven't been able to try it out just yet. I only heard about it a couple weeks ago. Good luck to you, too, and thank you as always for uploading these videos. I'll just have to wait for them to be uploaded to RUclips, because I can't afford a paid subscription.
