Your stuff is always amazing, but sometimes one of them just grabs me by the brain, and I never know which it will be -- this particular one is mesmerizing to me, and I haven't a clue why.
There are alot of helpful videos involving acrylic painting tutorials but everything you mentioned was very in depth and helped explain so much. Thank you for the time and effort. Amazing artwork!👍
This painting is mesmerizing! I love the sense of depth! I'm not a professional anything. But your advice on getting the best quality supplies has made such a difference in even just my enjoyment of making art has been really wonderful! Thank you!💕
Thank you so much for all the advice and tips that I have heard in the past but I wasn’t really ready to hear it if that makes sense! Definitely going to check out more videos bc u are a great teacher and very talented
Normally I would totally agree with you. In this painting the more opaque titanium white would give a better foggy look like I did with the airbrush. I do love transparent white paint though! ❤️
Your number are improving, I'm so happy that the algorithm had some mercy on you, it's been years that I've been following you, i was scared that your RUclips channel would go down... I'm happy I was wrong!
Unfortunately I think there was a glitch on this video with google search. I'm getting a ton of "views" (over 7000) that don't appear to be real people. I suspect youtube will correct this soon enough. It's actually messing up my viewer retention rate because these not-views are instantly leaving when the video is triggering a "click". It's super weird. I've never seen it before this video and the previous one.
I have several airbrushes. Couldn’t I just use one of them spray a fine mist? Being in Sweden I can’t always get the products you suggest… Love your work!! I enjoy your videos extremely much!!
Absolutely! That's what I used to use. The airbrush is actually better because it won't let out the larger droplets that the fine mist sprayer occasionally does. Plus you will have more control overall!
I don't use or recommend anything but water to slow the dry time of acrylics. Non art supplies can actually ruin a painting making it not archival in the long term, but even if it was safe there is no reason to use them when water works great on it's own :)
Just interested to know...you seem to be extremely interested in marine life...did you any scuba diving before? I mean did you visit this special world in real life?
Most things in our lives are plastic, stored in plastic, sold in plastic etc. Acrylic paints are the least of our problems. At least with them we are creating something with the intent for it to last unlike everything else that is just plastic waste intended to be tossed. My paintings are not taking up space in a landfill or dumped in the ocean. I don't want something that breaks down quickly being used in artwork.
10:16 "think of it as abstract shapes" I think this is one of the most useful tips for painting or drawing.
How you dont have a 1 million subscribers is beyond me.
Aww thank you.
Agree
Couldn’t agree more!!
When it comes to Art she's super smart

You never fail to impress !
Thank you Susan! ❤️
Gorgeous painting ...and the best art advice!! TFS Lisa!!
Thank you!
Wow, hiw beautiful and realistic it is. Masterpiece. Thanks for teaching...
You can also use zinc white to push things into the distance, works better than just titanium mixed with water.

Great techniques ❤

Sheer genius - I learn so much from you 🙏
Thank you! ❤️
Helpful as usual! Thanks a lot!

Wonderful video. Do you have a video about varnishing? I feel like I have ruined paintings with varnishing.
I do but I don't do it the same as in that video anymore (too easy to overdo the first varnish I used to use). I need to make a new one soon!
Just beautiful Lisa😍
Thank you! ❤️
is there any brand in particular that u would recomend?
Awesome! 🌻☀️👍🏻
Thank you ❤️

Out of curiosity....have u used water based personal lubricant to slow down acrylic drying time ?

Beautiful

Is there a link to the hog hair liner brush?
Love it
Thank you!
Is Propylene glycol a good idea?.
A good idea for what? An ingredient in a varnish, sure. To replace the honey in your tea, probably not.
I hate my mop brushes….will be looking into blush brush!
These are SUCH a huge difference! I don't know why art manufacturers don't just produce mop brushes like the make up companies do!
Lisa what is your opinion on open acrylics?
Not a fan. I like normal acrylics myself.
Hi Lisa...how to keep brushes wet while painting? With acrylics
By loading them with more paint and water
i've used a airbrush only to have it spit dots all over my painting.... no more airbrush for me
Looks like Turquoise is your favourite colour. I have seen your videos before...you drawn towards turquoise shades 😊
Yes, you are right! You should see my house, it's EVERYWHERE lol :D
Just interested to know...you seem to be extremely interested in marine life...did you any scuba diving before? I mean did you visit this special world in real life?
Nope, I just love all things ocean 😁
That's a really dangerous octopus
Yeah, we're not going to cuddle 😂
What is your opinion on acrylics being PLASTIC!!? NOT ECO-FRIENDLY?
Most things in our lives are plastic, stored in plastic, sold in plastic etc. Acrylic paints are the least of our problems. @@Lachri wow! This answer makes me guilt free😁😀
Fantastic stuff.
Glad you enjoyed it
