@@christiancabral1037 my take on it is that vader kills anakin every time he puts on the helmet, he knows how far gone he is in the dark side and supresses the little light left in him... deep down, he is anakin talking through vader
At this point Vader thought that Ashoka was long dead, meaning no one and nothing from his past remained therefore he completely gave into palpatine and the dark side 😔

@The Hippy Griff she was willing to join Maul until he said that Anakin would be Sidious' new apprentice. Which she then replied with "You lie". That's what caused them to duel in the first place.

@@ysbrandd Not particularly. Ahsoka Is not just some other Jedi to shit on as you’ve quoted. Like Obi Wan, she is an important part of his past, and killing her is not as simple as say, killing someone like Yoda. The strong attachment is still there and it will always make Vader conflicted no matter what. Ahsoka is the closest thing to having a little sister, as Obi Wan is to a big brother. I feel like killing Ahsoka would bring more inner turmoil for Anakin because they had a close relationship.

@@adamprice1593 Yeah because Obi Wan cut off his limbs and left him to burn on Mustafar, why wouldn’t he go after him? He’s convinced himself that Kenobi is nothing to him but he and Palpatine knows that’s not true. That Vader still holds his attachments close to his heart. People forget that Vader and Anakin are the same, they’re different personas, but the same person at the core.
⚠️ SPOILERS⚠️ In the Kenobi finale Vader couldn’t even kill Kenobi because of his conflict. We all know that Anakin is never truly dead and that his past attachments are still apart of him whether he wants to admit it or not. Kenobi is like his brother so he couldn’t kill him at that time even if he wanted to, same with Ashoka. You need to understand that Vader lies to himself that he wants nothing to do with his past attachments because deep down he wants his loved ones back. But he tells himself that it’s too late, that he can never find redemption and that the darkness is all he has left. He would not be conflicted if things are as black and white as you’re stating.
@@OGStarlightKY let’s go someone who understands vaders character everyone says obi wan is stronger and that Vader isn’t the chosen one anymore but Vader destroys obi wan he was just to conflicted deep down that’s why he never kills him face on in kenobi I saw a comment and the person in it was talking about how Ashoka was as strong as Vader because she “held her own” against him in rebels but that’s only cuz he didn’t want to kill her anyway thank you for understanding his character
The scariest part here isn't just the reveal, it's the reaction of Vader, instead of being disconcerted, miss her or being angry, something that Anakin could do, Vader just says: "The Apprentice lives" He was seeing Ashoka just as an objective to kill

He didnt leave her, she left the order and he DID see her off and gave her 2 brand new lightsabers when he did, Anakin was very patient and kind with snips. He was very good to her, thats why her finding out he became darth vader hit her so hard.

@@Dios_De_La_Muerte Ah. I had forgotten anakin said that. Yeah Im a fan. Im just a fan of the non disney works. I dont like what they did with Ahsoka. Ahsoka has always been my favorite new character ever since they introduced her. Yeah she was rash and alot of us really didnt like her attitude... But she also showed Anakin exactly how he was with Obi won and Qi Gon, Qi Gon being by far my most favorite character. Anakin and Ahsoka had the same attitude as padawan learners, a difference though is Anakin wasnt in charge of anyone or anything until he was capable, they kinda threw Ahsoka out there which brought to light how Anakin' reckless attitude and choices could have caused alot more problems like they did for Ahsoka.
I’ll never not think rebels animation is weird, but I do adore the show.

The shock of knowing that someone you love so much could be capable of such horrible things. And realizing that the one who taught you to be who you are is the very thing you are now set to destroy...how horrible that would be.
Would kind of make you question everything they taught you when you think about it.
The Spinning of Vaders Ship was a nice touch. Anakin also spon his ship all the time. Cuz it’s a good trick!
Just shows that even though he tried to “kill” him aspects of Anakin still lived on in Vader.

You can literally sense the fear in ahsoka
that was more shock than fear. She wouldn't really care about what happens to her. From her point of view all was lost because she was intimately familiar with Anakin's power.
