@@SilverOre67 I haven't seen the sequels and they basically don't exist in my mind. The story was clearly over after Episode 6. In fact, George Lucas himself said "There is no Episode 7" after finishing Episode 3. The sequel trilogy was created only to make money, not because they had any actual story worth telling. The problem is, people will automatically watch any movie just because it calls itself Star Wars, and Disney knows this, so they don't need to have any standards.
Agreed, the sequels in my opinion damn near killed the franchise and I really don’t think that Rogue One and Solo are any good either. The only good part of Rogue One was the Vader hallway scene

when i was a kid I used to rank movies by the number of lightsaber duels. When i grew up i changed all the rankings except one: Revenge of the SIth. I'll never change idea
I love rouge one because it’s one of the only movies where the main characters don’t have 100 pounds of plot armor on Edit: yes they still have plot armor, all Star Wars movies do but I mean this one has the least, like only having 30 pounds of armor instead of 100

I am the number 1 rogue one anti. Will never understand the hype for an unecessary film that adds nothing to the story and introduces a bunch of nothing boring characters.
I respectfully disagree. Jedi should be on the top followed by Sith and finally Empire. These 3 alone could tell the whole saga and while some gaps would require filling, the main story is there. #thechosenone
11:26 I totally get the sentimental effect that Episode VI gives you. I grew up with it as my favorite and when it was re-released in theaters in 1997, the crowd went ballistic as soon as Jabba appeared (as well as Leia in the gold bikini, and the scene where she strangles him with the chain).
Yeah... It's the first of the movies I ever saw and remembered as a kid in the Theater and I saw with my father...when I was about 6. That and Rambo first blood part 2😂. Although everyone wants to put down the Ewoks...they were everything for a kid. I had a bunch of their collectibles.
If you want to watch Star Wars and experience it in the most definitive way. Watch all six films in this order: Ep. 4 & 5, then Ep. 1 thru 3, and then watch Ep. 6. By watching episode 5 and learning who Vader was, you watch the first three episodes to understand his backstory. It helped enhance episode 6.
That’s how I watched them growing up. But when I showed all of the movies to my fiancée when we first got together, we started from episode one all the way to the end in order and to be honest it had had a different effect on me. Idk. lol in which ever order you watch them we can both agree that the experiences are ❤too notch.
CGI was 50-50, in my opinion, because some scenes like the whole set of Coruscant, Kamino, and Geonosis were great. Then the entire Clone Wars scene was top notch along with CGI Yoda and his fight with Dooku

@@ThomasGCMM it’s not really a copy paste. It’s sort of a remake type thing and people usually mostly like remakes because they retell a great story rather than harnessing nostalgia, but that might just be me 🤷♀️
I'm old enough to have seen Star Wars in the theater as a small child, but I've grown to love the Prequels more and more with every trip through the saga. Anakin is just a more compelling character than Luke for me, and there is no question that Revenge of the Sith is my favorite.
in my opinion the revenge of the sith is better than the empire strikes back. i mean it was probably the most important movie for the plot, because anakin/vader is the entire point of the entire franchise and the revenge of the sith was basically all about anakin's personality and about him turning to the dark side. the characters were all on point and the cgi was also sick. and lets just not forget about the fact that it had the most memorable moments in the whole franchise.
I will always respect anyone's opinion about Empire Strikes Back vs Revenge of the Sith. The reason Revenge of the Sith was my favorite over Empire Strikes Back was because Empire left me in confusion. Revenge of the Sith left me in tears. IMHO none of the Star Wars (excluding sequel series) movies are "masterpieces". It is the whole story of the tragedy of Anakin Skywalker that is the masterpiece.
It's literally a space version of the seven samurai trope. Decent movie with a great Vader scene and seeing the nascent Rebel fleet coming out of hyperspace was awesome.
Great ranking! Here’s mine: 11. Last Jedi - controversies are justified 10. Rise of Skywalker - poor finale 9. Force Awakens - copied new hope 8. Solo - underrated 7. Phantom Menace - pacing is a bit off, Jar jar is sometimes funny, other times annoying (no hate to him, just saying how I feel, as I prefer Darth jar jar), but duel of the fates is brilliant, no denying, so yea, not a bad movie. 6. Attack of the Clones - dialogue has some issues, but jar jar shows how much of a sith he is, Anakin hates sand and it builds up to him becoming Vader, world building is great, clone wars setup, and amazing choreography 5. Rogue One - Vader was badass, not much to say abt it 4. New hope - although slow, great start of a saga, and iconic 3. Return of the Jedi - perfect conclusion 2. Empire strikes back - not much to say, just astonishing 1. Revenge of the sith - it has the high ground lol These r my opinions btw
Thats the same as mine but I got Attack of the Clones and Rogue One swapped at #5 and #6 - Everyone loves Rogue one but in my opinion (and its tough to implement this in the timeline of the movie) - it didn't have enough action scenes whereas all the action bits in Attack of the Clones were plenty and great
Perfect list! I personally think that Revenge of the Sith is my favorite, but Emperor Strikes back is such a close second that they can easily be flip flopped based on which you prefer.
Hey I just wanted to appreciate your video for really showing your own opinions on the films, you’ve really got some unique takes and I appreciate that!
@@cranty6461 He wasn't unique in the prequels, the only reason he is quote on quote ''unique'' is because of the clone wars series, however unless george lucas made a character specifically name a character from that show, they could co exist.
This is probably the best Star Wars tier list I’ve seen. Every fan I know thinks I’m crazy, but Revenge of the Sith is my favorite Star Wars movie (best story, best fight scenes, sound is incredible, connects everything to the original trilogy) and Rogue One is criminally underrated despite the good reviews. It’s ironic how Episode 1 was such a cringy movie but the Darth Maul fight scene was easily one of the best in the entire series. You did a great job with this video. Kudos

My ranking is the same except I'd swap TFA with AoTC. I gave TPM a second try, and despite it's flaws, I do like it's roundness compared to AoTC. Qui-gon, Obi-wan, and Darth Maul also saves many parts of the film. Maybe my years of playing Battlefront II (2017) made me love the prequels more, but they just have a special charm that none of the other movies do

Hi! u could follow the video? omg this dude is anAction commentator.. not a story teller 😲 i think it need different method than this speedster reading
I was 10-16 when the prequels came out, and back then everyone agreed that they cannot be considered canonical to the originals, and are kinda stupid in general. It was smaller kids who eventually grew up to genuinely like the prequels. Maybe that's going to happen with the Disney travesties as well - in 15 years we might suddenly have people saying they're great. That being said, I do like TPM. It has a genuine Flash Gordon like adventure feel: following Qui-Gon's group through varying locations as they encounter different races of beings (without using Coruscant as the "hub world"). The visual style is also much better and more organic than the video game looking eps II and III. It's also the last SW film where lightsabers don't get annoying due to overuse - there's only one extensive saber-on-saber battle, and I actually like it. I care about the stakes, the environment is interesting but not overly ridiculous, and it has the best piece of music from the entire trilogy. The good things in TPM are good enough to make me think of them first, not the ridiculous ending battles, Jar Jar, or whatever.
before, Prequels werent considered canonical due to the fact that most believed the story wasnt that good. But well sequels are different, they ruin the point of first 6 movies.
I actually think Rey was done the biggest disservice in episode 7. The first hour or so she's quite likeable, emotive, charming, and its not until she knows more about the falcon than Han and knows more about the force and lightsaber battling than Kylo that they really squander and ruin her. She had a lot of potential to be a great character and Daisy had a lot of potential to be a superstar.
Yes, but you didn't mind when Luke, first time out in an X-Wing, ten minutes after hearing about the Force (figuratively speaking), was a better pilot than the trained X-Wing squad members, avoided Vader on his tail, and blew up the Death Star, using the Force, after a trained X-Wing pilot failed. You also didn't mind when Young Anakin accidently flew up into space, then destroyed a Federation Ship (which the trained pilots weren't able to do), and you didn't mind that he could race pods, and you didn't mind that he could read Zener cards, and you didn't mind that his mother was a virgin. So, either you're a hypocritical misogynist, who is happy when boys show Force abilities for no good reason, but unhappy when girls do, or you simply watched the new movies through a different coloured glasses. Which one is it? Either way you are wrong. You can't eat your cake and have it too. You can't dislike Rey for things that Anakin and Luke are just as guilty of... By the way, the difference is that we were _TOLD_ in A New Hope that Luke was a good pilot (without explaining why), so what happened later actually did make some sense, but in The Force Awakens we were _SHOWN_ that Rey had learned how to fight - to defend herself - and we were _SHOWN_ the explanation for that, which was that she had to survive alone in the desert, so _IT MADE PERFECT SENSE_ when she later turned out to be a naturally good fighter with the lightsabre, against an injured Kylo Ren.
@@philsurteesLMAO, I’m not surprised that the op didn’t respond to you because everything you said is as if you just watched the movies but didn’t comprehend them at all. So, I’ll make this very simple for you. The HUGE difference between the Skywalkers and Rey was they were chosen(she wasn’t)Anakin the chosen one and Luke son of. All of what you mentioned that they were able to do. From Anakin as a child, who not only flew a pod racer but BUILT IT, built C-3P0, to Luke in being able to fly in the X-Wing etc. It all came from being that gifted in the force. Which was the points of the movies, 🤦🏾♂️. Also, Luke did at least have some flying training in his speeder as well as did some training with Obi. Using the lightsaber, becoming more in tuned with the force etc. Now, to Rey/what the problem was. LOL, dude, her being able to survive in a desert has absolutely nothing to do with sword training and sure as hell being able to pilot anything, lol. That is one of the worst arguments I’ve heard on this topic in general. It was beyond ridiculous when she was able to use a sword to that ability that she held for a few minutes. The love for only strong male leads as you like to put it. They only did things later in the films that were linked to what they did previously. They also had many personality flaws and had drastic failures along the way. Where Rey had no experience other than the desert and wasn’t trained in anything at all. Barely any character flaws and she was instantly able to do anything that she stepped into with minor failures which is illogical even in fiction standards. So it has nothing to do with the usual sexist nonsense people like you like to throw out there when you can’t make high IQ arguments, lol. Having Darth Vader suddenly become a christian at the end of Episode VI was, and is, one of the best examples of bad writing in cinema history. *IT IS ATROCIOUS WRITING.* It breaks every rule in the book. You don't develop a character over the course of three films, showing him to be the very epitome of evil, then suddenly have him turn good at the last moment, and ... no ... having Luke say he senses he was good a couple of times does not make it OK. 2. I was only a budding writer of 16 when I saw that film, but I still knew how woefully bad that was. It would be bad enough on it's own, but then having the Force Ghosts stand there, smiling like idiots, Darth Vader's decades of evil suddenly forgiven, was about as bad as writing can get. George Lucas then went on to make that scene even worse, when he later showed Anakin murdering children in cold blood, after first becoming Palpatine's apprentice. 3. The big reveal in Episode V was that the funny little green creature was Yoda, but George Lucas' lazy, terrible writing ruined that by including Yoda in the prequels. That would have made sense if he was training Obi Wan, because we are told that in Episode V, but Lucas threw that out the window, and therefore didn't need to include Yoda, but did it anyway. Terrible writing. 4. There were two more big reveals in the original movies - that Darth Vader was Luke's father, and that Leigha was his sister - but Lucas' lazy, terrible writing ruined those by revealing them in the prequels. It was completely unnecessary and terrible writing. 5. At the beginning of Episode V, Luke and Han can't find any sign of life on Hoth, despite the fact they are riding around on life that's endemic to Hoth, but then Luke gets captured by a giant carnivore, and taken back to it's lair, where there are bones of some other giant creature, which means it makes absolutely no sense at all that these people who can fly faster than light, couldn't find any signs of life on the planet. That's when Luke uses the Force to pull his lightsaber to him, *DESPITE NOT BEING CHOSEN AND NOT HAVING HAD ANY TRAINING.* Terrible writing. 6. Shortly thereafter, Darth Vader kills the Admiral for alerting the Rebels to their presence, by bringing the fleet out of light speed too close to the system. Except that the rebels already knew the Empire were coming, because of the probe Han and Chewy destroyed, which is why they had an energy shield, and they were already evacuating, so the Admiral did the right thing by bring the fleet out of light speed where he did, and that was just another murder to be forgiven by the grinning Force Ghosts at the end of Episode VI. Should I go on, Einstein, or have I shredded your idiotic "bad writing" argument enough for now? *DO. YOU. HAVE. ANYTHING. ORIGINAL. WHICH. HASN'T. ALREADY. BEEN. SHREDDED. OR. DO. YOU. JUST. PARROT. You, on the other hand, watch some of the movies through one filter - undoubtedly because you saw them as a child - but can't apply the same filter to the new movies. You're as far from objective as it's possible to get.

@@BunglebottomInc Yep, i wrote that 8 months ago, and i gotta be honest, i think Phantom Menace is better than a New Hope. Maybe not in writing but the movie overall is better.
You pretty much nailed it! Surprised about RotJ because of the Ewoks but personally, I remember the feeling of amazement I had when i walked out of the theatre at age 15. My final 3 were the same but different order with RotS as #1, RotJ #2, and ESB as #3
11: My Last Reason (A visually stunning bore. Why do you ask?) 1: The Empire Strikes Back (Can’t think of a creative name, but wow! This is my 3rd favorite film of all time! It is just flawless!)
Do Disney have any idea of how many people there is on a star destroyer, Palpatine apparently just went around the whole galaxy giving out leaflets where he said: JOIN MY SECRET EMPIRE WHO JUST MAGICALLY APPEARS IN THE END OF THIS MOVIE.
both are the best of their trilogies by far, and what the pinacle of cinema for their era where. i'd purely rank revenge better because it was the last of the prequels, i always get disapointed with empire strikes back because, return is worse.
I never understood the ESB hype. The Hoth section is awesome, but everything after that is just the protagonists getting slowly ripped apart before our eyes. I also never liked how the destruction of the Death Star didn't affect the plot of the movie at all. A New Hope has just as much tension and emotion, but it's actually fun to watch.
@@clonecommandermike332 The destruction of the 2nd Death Star gave the rebels more leeway to evacuate to Hoth and slowed the Empire’s advance to them by a lot. And the characters getting ripped apart is the best part of the movie. After seeing how flawlessly they escaped the Death Star and won the battle of Yavin, they are faced with harder challenges they must overcome especially Luke because he was expecting everything to be handed to him on a silver platter after he destroyed the Death Star.
The thing that pisses me off the most about the sequels is that they ruin every original character. Han gets stabbed by his own son and plummets to his death. His best friend Luke becomes a grumpy old man who gives up on life and dies randomly. Then Leia randomly dies out of nowhere. Nobody cares to check on Chewie even after his best friend was killed before his eyes. Vader is treated like some evil guy who was never good and didn't sacrifice his life to save his son after being manipulated for years. R2-D2 is forgotten about and C-3PO forgets everything and doesn't remember his friendship with R2. And Palpatine comes back after Vader's sacrifice and accidentally electrocutes himself.

I really enjoyed watching this! I'm always happy to know that the prequels were enjoyable for many people, and I definitely think much of that is owed to the clear dedication and effort that was put into Revenge of the Sith to ensure the prequels went out with a bang! Yoda fighting the Emperor sounds like something we could only dream of seeing on the big screen, and the film manages to be packed with all kinds of interesting set pieces and plot moments that you don't forget!

If it weren't for this movie, the amazing Clone Wars series as we know it wouldn't even exist!) 3. The Phantom Menace 4. A New Hope 5. Return of the Jedi 6. Empire Strikes Back (I know this'll trigger many people, but personally I just dont enjoy it as much as most other people. Apart from the "Luke, I am your father" line, this movie to me has the least interesting premise out of the 6 Star Wars movies from George Lucas. If you love this movie though, that's great. Don't let my opinion change that) 7. Rogue One 8. The Force Awakens (This one's difficult to rank, because in terms of watchability, it's actually decent and is by far the most entertaining of the sequels. But the thing that pisses me off the most about the sequel trilogy is that it feels like a lazy copy of the original trilogy, and this is the movie that set it up to be that way. For example, the designs for the tie fighters, X-wings, frigets, etc. are all the same as it is in the original trilogy. And it's basically just Stormtroopers vs rebels all over again, just with different names. At least the prequels were unique in this regard and had excellent world building) 9. The Rise of Skywalker (Some memorable moments, such as Kylo's redemption, but the rest of the movie was a snoozefest with no coherent direction. Watched it once but I don't see myself ever watching it again) 10. Solo 11. The Last Jedi (Rian Johnson should NEVER be allowed to touch anything with the name Star Wars attached to it)
Hey Jed, you should watch the video "How to Kill a Franchise" from the Closer Look. He talks about several of the sequel trilogy's problems and then provides a rough outline of an alternative trilogy that he wrote. In this, he fixes the problems he had, gives better worldbuilding, and incorporates story elements from the prequels and the lore. Jedi Master Dooku even makes an appearance!

My list : 11: The Last Jedi : Very meh, nothing to say more I agree with the video. 10: Rise of Skywalker : Meh, the idea of palpatine is not terrible (he used old school lore) but it's done weirdly to be honest. 9: The Force Awakens : Meh, they copied too much a new hope despite having cool things. 8: Solo : Interesting film, but i have a problem with it because Han is Harrison for me. I think I agree with what you said about Han solo being so ''good''. 7: Rogue One : Pretty cool to be honest. Despite his place I think he was very good for a disney film. I loved the style/overhaul design of this one, it could have been one of the best but it lack something.. probably because characters are too common/basic. He also have less ''nostalgia'' and the deception of SW already happened for me so im harder with the universe. 6: The Phantom Menace : Qui Gon and Maul alone are doing it, the last duel with the 3 is just insane. It's a nice start for the prequels, but the gungans and jar jar jokes are just too much. 5: A New Hope : Nice one, I mean it's the first film and he was good, but some things could have been better in the film... I look at you stormtroopers missing every shot. Tarkin was great tho. 4: Attack of the Clones : I loved this one because we had Dooku and the rise of CSI, the clone wars is one of my favorite timeline, sad we didn't got more about it. 3: Return of the Jedi : Yeah... The grand final. Vador / Palpatine / Luke... This Luke is just perfect. Really good one. 2: The Empire Strikes Back : Probably one of the best old school SW, it has a lot for him. 1: Revenge of the Sith : The vibe this film give is like no other, from the music to the sequences and of course.... I have to say one thing : Mustafar... Order 66, the initial battle of Coruscant (so sad we didn't have ground battle but I understand why they did this it's more sustainable) I also love Grievous even if they did him a bit dirty in the film, it was cool to see him. Even if Dooku dies fast, it was a cool duel. The film could have been a bit better in the details but overhaul it's the best for me no matter what.
you know your last Jedi points make sense but imagine you were in a situation where you saw someones future and you saw them end thousands, would you change that future and end them, that's why Luke may have had intent to end kylo ren
Hayden Christensen’s ghost made sense at the end of episode 6. That was the last image of Anakin Skywalker before he turned evil. He wouldn’t be projected as darth Vader in death, and even so, he was so badly burned he was unrecognizable.
It’s actually amazing to me how the sequel writers were able to tick so many boxes on the “what Star Wars fans do not want” list. They were clearly motivated by something other than making the best Star Wars movie
1 : Episode III revenge of the sith 2 : Episode II Attack of the clones 3 : Episode I phantom menance 4 : Episode V : The Empire Strikes Back 5 : Episode VI : Return Of The Jedi 6 : Episode IV : A new hope Thats the only and best list

In fact, George Lucas himself said "There is no Episode 7" after finishing Episode 3. The sequel trilogy was created only to make money, not because they had any actual story worth telling.

7. Phantom Menace - pacing is a bit off, Jar jar is sometimes funny, other times annoying (no hate to him, just saying how I feel, as I prefer Darth jar jar), but duel of the fates is brilliant, no denying, so yea, not a bad movie.
6. Attack of the Clones - dialogue has some issues, but jar jar shows how much of a sith he is, Anakin hates sand and it builds up to him becoming Vader, world building is great, clone wars setup, and amazing choreography
5. Rogue One - Vader was badass, not much to say abt it
4. New hope - although slow, great start of a saga, and iconic

I’ve been saying this for ages I’m glad other people share the same ideas as me
As someone who grew up with Flash Gordon, I'd say TPM is as far from it as Sesame Street is from Tom and Jerry.😅
before, Prequels werent considered canonical due to the fact that most believed the story wasnt that good.

@@philsurtees My brother preach! Also, why is it okay for Yoda and Obi-Wan to give up and let the rebellion suffer when they could have been of assistance but it's a massive surprise when Luke, who only knew their teachings, ends up following in their footsteps?
Problem with Star Wars fans is that they're Luke and Anakin fans. They don't pay attention to any of the other fuckin' characters. Those two can do no wrong and the galaxy needs to revolve around them at all times. It's corny AF.
@@SonGoku-yb3zm *LET. ME. MAKE. THIS. VERY. SIMPLE. FOR. YOU. EINSTEIN.*
The general rule in movies is, "show, don't tell", so it was much better moviemaking and storytelling in The Force Awakens, to *SHOW* Rey fighting, and *SHOW* us why she had that skill, than it was in Star Wars for Luke to *TELL* us that he wasn't a bad pilot. He says, quote, _"I'm not such a bad pilot myself,"_ but next thing he is flying better than trained pilots, first time out in a an X-Wing, and using the Force to blow up the Death Star, and you are trying to justify that with:
1. He was chosen. Well, as we've established, that is complete nonsense which you invented because you don't want to admit you are a bigoted misogynist, so all you have is...
2. He had thirty seconds of "training" from Obi Wan on the Millennium Falcon.
That's it. That's all you've got.
_HA HA HA!_
Yet when Rey - the Granddaughter/Daughter of an incredibly powerful Sith who ruled the galaxy - is able to fight, using the Force, after we've seen that she knows how to fight, and we know why she knows how to fight, suddenly that is too much?
You really don't understand how stupid and ignorant you sound, do you???
_"That is one of the worst arguments I’ve heard on this topic in general. It was beyond ridiculous when she was able to use a sword to that ability that she held for a few minutes."_
If that's true, then why aren't you able to provide anything that even vaguely resembles a valid argument, Einstein? Your only "argument" for Luke being able to fly an X-Wing better than trained pilots, and use the Force to blow up the Death Star, is that he had 30 seconds of "training" from Obi Wan on the Millennium Falcon?
Are you trolling, or are you just a complete idiot???
_"The love for only strong male leads as you like to put it."_
Yes, the thing you have completely failed to prove me wrong about? What about it?
_"They only did things later in the films that were linked to what they did previously."_
_HA HA HA!_
This is a joke, right? George Lucas was making it up as he went along you complete ignoramus. You clearly know *ABSOLUTELY NOTHING* about Star Wars...
*LET. ME. MAKE. THIS. VERY. SIMPLE. FOR. YOU. EINSTEIN.*
I'll give you just a short list of examples which prove how utterly ridiculous that sentence is:
1. In the first movie (IV), Darth Vader killed Luke's father.
2. In the second movie (V), now Darth Vader is Luke's father.
3. In the second movie (V) Luke shares an intimate kiss with Leia.
3. In the third movie (VI), now Leia is Luke's sister.
4. In the second movie (V), Yoda trained Obi Wan.
5. In the fourth movie (I), Qui Gon now trained Obi Wan.
Should I go on - because I can go on all day - or are you getting the picture, Einstein?
_"They also had many personality flaws and had drastic failures along the way. Where Rey had no experience other than the desert and wasn’t trained in anything at all. Barely any character flaws and she was instantly able to do anything that she stepped into with minor failures which is illogical even in fiction standards."_
Just the same old nonsense, over and over and over again, no matter how many times it is shredded and debunked.
*LUKE. HAD. NO. EXPERIENCE. OTHER. THAN. THE. DESERT. AND. WASN'T. TRAINED. IN. ANYTHING. AT. ALL.*
Which part of all that are you too stupid to understand, Einstein??? He wasn't even Anakin's son when he originally blew up the Death Star. How many times do you have to be told this before it penetrates your thick skull?
*ANAKIN. HAD. NO. EXPERIENCE. OTHER. THAN. THE. DESERT. AND. WASN'T. TRAINED. IN. ANYTHING. AT. ALL.*
Try to get that through your limited mind. This whole chosen "argument" is complete BS. It's meaningless. Either some people are able to use the Force, thanks to the midi-chlorians, or they're not. You can't give Luke and Anakin a pass and then complain about Rey. You either have to accept that some different people are able to use the Force, with different degrees of success, *_EXACTLY HAS BEEN SHOWN SINCE THE VERY FIRST MOVIE, BEFORE THE IDEA OF MULTIPLE MOVIES EVER EVEN EXISTED,_* or not. You can't eat your cake and have it too, deciding that it's OK for Luke and Anakin to do things without training, but it isn't OK for Rey, because there is no valid argument to support that position.
*_So it has nothing to do with the usual sexist nonsense people like you like to throw out there when you can’t make high IQ arguments,lol._*
It has EVERYTHING to do with it, which is why you have completely failed, like everyone before you, to provide a valid argument.
*_It’s simply about bad writing/they didn’t want a woke female lead character to ever look weak for too long._*
Thankyou for admitting that her gender is the factor.
Now for the good old "bad writing" claim. You morons always come up with that at some stage, so let's talk about bad writing, shall we?
*LET. ME. MAKE. THIS. VERY. SIMPLE. FOR. YOU. EINSTEIN.*
*DO. YOU. HAVE. ANYTHING. ORIGINAL. WHICH. HASN'T. ALREADY. BEEN. SHREDDED. OR. DO. YOU. JUST. PARROT. THE. SAME. BS. AS. EVERYONE?*
*_Take your emotions out and learn to be more objective, rather than subjective when you read replies. No need to read your reply._*
*PFFT!*
That's the best example of projection I've seen in ages. I am completely objective, which is why I am able to watch and enjoy Star Wars for what it is. You, on the other hand, watch some of the movies through one filter - undoubtedly because you saw them as a child - but can't apply the same filter to the new movies. You're as far from objective as it's possible to get.
The First 6 Star Wars movies in my ranking
6: Phentom Menace
5: A New Hope
4: Attack Of The Clones
3: Return Of The Jedi
2: The Empire Strikes back
1: Revenge Of The Sith
cant argue with it, all are still golden though
@@BunglebottomInc Yep, i wrote that 8 months ago, and i gotta be honest, i think Phantom Menace is better than a New Hope. Maybe not in writing but the movie overall is better.
You pretty much nailed it! Surprised about RotJ because of the Ewoks but personally, I remember the feeling of amazement I had when i walked out of the theatre at age 15. My final 3 were the same but different order with RotS as #1, RotJ #2, and ESB as #3

@@adi1746 5 is the best movie in the franchise
11: My Last Reason (A visually stunning bore. Full of filler, plot holes, character assassination for Luke, poor subversion of expectations, and annoying/boring characters)
10: The Fall of Shitwalker (Gets worse on every rewatch. I don’t feel anything while watching it anymore aside from anger and cringe from the franchise killing)
9: The Phandumb Menace (Unbearably boring with Jar Jar (who I hate and always will). I didn’t like it as a kid and never will)
8: Solow On My List: A Useless Story (This movie is the definition of ok. It’s enjoyable enough, but completely forgettable)
7: The Force Keeps Me Awake (I actually really like this film. Ik it’s an unpopular opinion, but it’s a ton of fun! Derivative? Sure! But fun? Extremely!)
6: The Attack of SAND! (Put the dreadful dialogue/romance and CGI aside, this film is the definition of fun! Certainly an overhated movie that I enjoy a lot!)
5: Rogue One Boring Act (I did not like this one at first. I thought it was boring with a great third act. However, I think the first act is boring, but the rest is great! Especially the 3rd act! Seriously, the Battle of Scarif is amazing!)
4: A Not-So New Hope (The originals will always top the list! This film was revolutionary and fun! Think about it, we wouldn’t have Star Wars without it)
3: Order 66: The Movie (I love this film. In fact, my Top 3 are pretty much tied. Amazing duels! Amazing pacing! Just amazing! Amazing! Amazing!)
2: Return of the Ewoks (As a kid, this was always my fav. I try and fail to find out why people hate it and I can’t find flaws. Yes, I love the Ewoks. Why do you ask?)

Revenge of the Sith and Empire Strikes back can really go any way Edit I never had these many Likes before Thanks
both are the best of their trilogies by far, and what the pinacle of cinema for their era where. i'd purely rank revenge better because it was the last of the prequels, i always get disapointed with empire strikes back because, return is worse.
@@jam8539 just curious, whats the issue with ROTJ ?
I never understood the ESB hype. The Hoth section is awesome, but everything after that is just the protagonists getting slowly ripped apart before our eyes. I also never liked how the destruction of the Death Star didn't affect the plot of the movie at all. A New Hope has just as much tension and emotion, but it's actually fun to watch.
@@clonecommandermike332I agree so much.I found a new hope to be much more entertaining than rotj esb
And Palpatine comes back after Vader's sacrifice and accidentally electrocutes himself.
to be fair on that vader being called evil, he killed children, VADER was evil, ANAKIN was good, when he kills palps he becomes anakin again.

@@DDDiegoBecause it set the other 2 up to fail.
Here's my rankings based on the lore and story each movie tells, not necessarily by how well-made they are.
1. Revenge of the Sith (Do I even need to explain this one?)
2. Attack of the Clones (Say what you want about the "cringe" dialogue, but the movie introduced many cool things such as Jango Fett, the clone troopers, and more. If it weren't for this movie, the amazing Clone Wars series as we know it wouldn't even exist!)
3. The Phantom Menace
4. A New Hope
5. Return of the Jedi
6. Don't let my opinion change that)
7. Rogue One
8. At least the prequels were unique in this regard and had excellent world building)
9. The Rise of Skywalker (Some memorable moments, such as Kylo's redemption, but the rest of the movie was a snoozefest with no coherent direction. Watched it once but I don't see myself ever watching it again)
10. Solo
11. The Last Jedi (Rian Johnson should NEVER be allowed to touch anything with the name Star Wars attached to it)
Dude, I have the same list except for Solo. I would put Solo in 8 place and I don't consider sequels canon.

Iove the pirates of the Caribbean music in the background of a starwars video
Hey Jed, you should watch the video "How to Kill a Franchise" from the Closer Look. He talks about several of the sequel trilogy's problems and then provides a rough outline of an alternative trilogy that he wrote. In this, he fixes the problems he had, gives better worldbuilding, and incorporates story elements from the prequels and the lore. Jedi Master Dooku even makes an appearance!

My list :
11: The Last Jedi : Very meh, nothing to say more I agree with the video.

1 : Episode III revenge of the sith
2 : Episode II Attack of the clones
3 : Episode I phantom menance
4 : Episode V : The Empire Strikes Back
5 : Episode VI : Return Of The Jedi
6 : Episode IV : A new hope
Thats the only and best list
This list is horrible bro
Horrendous list, but that's my opinion, good on you for respecting Revenge of the Situ though!
I love how this video is about Star Wars Movies yet the Pirates of the Caribbean theme song is playing in the background 😂😂😂
From the very first decision I quickly realised we could be friends - your take on the last jedi is 100% accurate
