Thank you, Jedwerd, for showing incredible respect for the fallen hero, Master Ima Gun Di. He was an expert strategist who made a great plan and ended up giving his life to make a clearing for the republic supply ships to reach the twi’leks. I’m just glad that he lived long enough to know that his and the clone troopers’ efforts were not in vain. His and Captain Keeli’s deaths were some of the most memorable and emotional deaths in all of the Clone Wars, even though they died in their debut episode. It’s hard for me to really think of other Jedi who had a sadder death than Master Ima Gun Di. I, too, have given mad respect to that legendary hero. May he rest in peace.
i absolutely love the theory that palpatine is the one who caused padme's death through the force, hence why she suddenly "lost the will to live." it also explains why palpatine even knows she died, having been nowhere around her when she did.

There’s a theory that explains it so well it basically says palpatine stole her life force and used it to keep anakin alive since he was in such a critical condition
I've seen a lot of analyses dissecting the whole scene from the moment Anakin cuts his hands off. How he moved the red blade first, how Dooku was looking around and realizing what was really going on--the whole thing was a lot more intense than it had any right to be
Padme's death makes a lot of sense and i tell you why: when Anakin told her to join him and rule the galaxy together everything changed for her, as he no longer knew the Anakin she fell in love with, so when that happened her soul have been crushed and he lost all the hopes she had. So the real reason of her death was a broken heart and it was sadder than you think IMO (PS: it's possible to die for a broken heart, as you lose the hope to live)
Yeah, but personally I think that this is not the only reason because Anakin strangled her for a while and after that she was unconscious, maybe something more serious happened because of that.
but she just like gave up most of the others either sacrificed themselves or fought till the end and i hate padmes death because she just dies she doesnt even fight she just gives up with imo is pathetic
I also heard that the reasons the clones shot Ayla secura so much is because they respected and loved her so much they shot her so many times to make sure she had a quick and painless death
Plo Koon’s death is truly tragic because he valued his clone’s lives just as much as his, and he cared about them not just as useful tools of the republic but as comrades and brothers. 5:33 huge star wars fan hated the sequels but I gotta be honest Han Solo’s death scene was so sad and honestly one of the top 5 death scenes in star wars.
I have been a huge star wars fan since the beginning and it is truly amazing to see somebody that shares my exact views on everything star wars related!! Keep up the amazing work Jedward!!:)
21:54 yeah, but palpatines scream was a force scream, which makes the person unable to do anything, and since sith were thought to be extinct, they hadn’t studied it, so it was just random.
21:52 Palpatine used a sith technique called Force Scream. This practically makes the opponent unaware of what is happening around them and makes them let their guard down. This was why they died so quickly, because they underestimated Palpatine's power and speed.
George Lucas used a technique called 'last minute changes' where instead of the stuntguys who had weeks to practice, you let the actors do the choreography after a quick instruction.
also for aayla secura, this was before the biochip was introduced, but the clones cared for her and they wanted to give her a painless death thats why they kept shooting her even though she was already on the ground. they knew she wouldn't make it out of there, so they wanted to make it as quick as possible. a good quote from battlefront 2 (original) that backs this up is "When the 501st was finally rotated out of Felucia, Aayla Secura made a point of seeing us off personally, calling us the bravest soldiers she had ever seen. It's a good thing we were wearing helmets because none of us could bear to look her in the eye."
When he talked about Cad Bane's death, I was fr like: "Cad has a death scene?!", thats how unmemorable BoBF was. Then Supreme Leader Snoke? More like Supreme Leader Joke.
21:55 Sidious used a force scream. It rendered their ability to use the force, all but impossible. Kit Fisto barely managed to avoid it, but lost focus because be sensed anakin was coming.
long story short sidious focused on the other threats almost immediately and avoid mace since taking them all on was a death sentence. If he didnt basically struck faster than they could react they could have won
Funny thing about Padmes Death is they could have said her heart burst, I don't know what it's called but when your sad enough your blood mixes with water
Qui Gon is honestly probably the morally best jedi. He wasn't blinded by the order, and if not for his death, Anakin likely wouldn't have become Vader.
If I where George Lucas, I would have made a series between TPM and AOTC to evolve Anakin and Obi-Wans training and explaing Jango Fett’s character. I think that would help me understand more about the 10 years between TPM and AOTC. It would also be a pretty cool series.
There is a book called Legacy of the Jedi which kind of focuses on Anakin and Obi Wan halfway through the book. Also, the game Star Wars Bounty Hunter gives some insight on Jango's character.
"Broken Heart Syndrome" is a real phenomena. 💔 Padme had it. ( The stress your heart produced actually can off you. There's alot more but you should look it up.)
Obi Wan Kenobi: Died for self sacrifice Mace Windu: Died strucked by force lightning Yoda: Died from old age after 800 years Aayla, Mundi and Plo Koon: Died when clones attacked by suprise Padme: died cause me sad
0:19 I actually loved it. I thought it was perfectly fitting. Luke died giving his life for someone he cared about, much like Anakin before him, and slowing down the enemy long enough for others to escape, much like Obi-Wan before him. Great ending for a great character imo.
Speaking of Duel of the Fates, there would've been three fates for Anakin, the 3rd one being if both Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon died. Scratch that, there'd actually be 4 fates for Anakin, the 4th being what if Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon survived.
Honestly Andor should be S because he was building parts of the weapon that would kill him and many others (when he was in prison) the series made me love him

That’s not true, it is a fan theory and was not confirmed in either canon or legends. It’s an interesting theory but it’s not a staple fact in either canon sorry.
But this is why he said that Anakin killed her tho because he was taking her lifeforce
Great vid
Plo Koon's death didn't mean much to me when I first saw the movies, but after the lore was expanded that shit is sad.
5:33 huge star wars fan hated the sequels but I gotta be honest Han Solo’s death scene was so sad and honestly one of the top 5 death scenes in star wars.
I did know that, but you're awesome and I love your videos. Very insightful. Keep it up man
Sequels emperor Palpateen just got pulled from behind my couch
I have been a huge star wars fan since the beginning and it is truly amazing to see somebody that shares my exact views on everything star wars related!! Keep up the amazing work Jedward!!:)
Not having Paz Vizla’s final stand in the Mandalorian season 3 finale part was is a crime
What’s even sadder is aya secura was beloved by commander bly . They kept firing because they wanted it over .
21:54 yeah, but palpatines scream was a force scream, which makes the person unable to do anything, and since sith were thought to be extinct, they hadn’t studied it, so it was just random.
I subbed because you gave qui-gon, S tier
You need to have the younglings on this list
Fax
Would have been SS tear
21:52 Palpatine used a sith technique called Force Scream. This practically makes the opponent unaware of what is happening around them and makes them let their guard down. This was why they died so quickly, because they underestimated Palpatine's power and speed.
George Lucas used a technique called 'last minute changes' where instead of the stuntguys who had weeks to practice, you let the actors do the choreography after a quick instruction.
Perfect list 😌
In my opinion, Darth Vader had an oddly satisfying death. It may be S tier, but it still makes me happy to see that Anakin redeemed himself.
Thank you Jedwerd for posting, you made my day.
This man just said he was 9 when he saw episode 7. Oh my gosh my heart sank. I’m old
“When have we ever followed orders” “NOOOOOO”
also for aayla secura, this was before the biochip was introduced, but the clones cared for her and they wanted to give her a painless death thats why they kept shooting her even though she was already on the ground. they knew she wouldn't make it out of there, so they wanted to make it as quick as possible. a good quote from battlefront 2 (original) that backs this up is "When the 501st was finally rotated out of Felucia, Aayla Secura made a point of seeing us off personally, calling us the bravest soldiers she had ever seen. It's a good thing we were wearing helmets because none of us could bear to look her in the eye."
I cried when she died, she was my favorite character when I was a kid. Now it's ventress tho and she still alive😊
Thank you jedwerd for doing another tier list vid I really like these tier lists and I think you should do more ✌️
Thanks champ, I appreciate it 😊
"I shed real tears when Count Dokou died not actually I'm a tough man" 🗿🗿
This video is fire🔥
The metalica one made it so sad but nothing else matters would be sad too
Qui-gon is the best Jedi, his death will be remembered
Qui Gon is honestly probably the morally best jedi. He wasn't blinded by the order, and if not for his death, Anakin likely wouldn't have become Vader.
@@beakieboss exactly what I’m saying
Had potential
Love your videos Jedwerd truly a good youtuber
For me, Han Solo's death was heartbreaking.
5:01 Jed I'm subbed
0:01 Justified Fives learns Order 66 before anyone else but he doesn’t live to warn everyone about it.
In theaters when you were NINE!? Damn that made me feel old
If I where George Lucas, I would have made a series between TPM and AOTC to evolve Anakin and Obi-Wans training and explaing Jango Fett’s character.
8:19 rip Carrie fisher
Hold on just a damn minute, FIVES DIES?!?!?!
"Broken Heart Syndrome" is a real phenomena. 💔 Padme had it. ( The stress your heart produced actually can off you. There's alot more but you should look it up.)
I like how bro has such significant mood changes throughout the video
Cool vid
17:27 What about the droid attack on the Wookies?
I am so convinced that the clones' inhibitor chips weren't functioning properly and that they willingly chose to kill him because he sucks
@@rithvikmuthyalapati9754How can you willingly follow someone into battle if they have a cone head?
Obi Wan Kenobi: Died for self sacrifice
Mace Windu: Died strucked by force lightning
Yoda: Died from old age after 800 years
Aayla, Mundi and Plo Koon: Died when clones attacked by suprise
Padme: died cause me sad
Mace died from fall damage not lightning
I think Yoda was the only Star Wars character to die peacefully.
Actually, Yoda was 900 by the time of the Empire. When the Clone Wars began, he was well into his late 800s.
0:19 I actually loved it. I thought it was perfectly fitting. Luke died giving his life for someone he cared about, much like Anakin before him, and slowing down the enemy long enough for others to escape, much like Obi-Wan before him. Great ending for a great character imo.
WAH?! HOW DARE YOU SAY THAT YOU LIKE HOW THE SEQUELS HANDLED ANYTHING!
TO THE GUILLOTINE WITH YOU!!!!!!
Maarva’s death in andor was depressing simply because of B2 saying “i dont want to be alone, i want maarva” when asked if he wanted everyone to leave
Speaking of Duel of the Fates, there would've been three fates for Anakin, the 3rd one being if both Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon died. Scratch that, there'd actually be 4 fates for Anakin, the 4th being what if Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon survived.
what about if both Obi-wan and Qui-Gon survived?
99 will always be in our hearts😢
Honestly Andor should be S because he was building parts of the weapon that would kill him and many others (when he was in prison) the series made me love him
Kanan’s d3ath was even more sad when you realise that the force gave him back his vision for a couple of seconds so that he could see Hera before he d1ed.
you don't need to censor death
