This is one of very few off-role Tarics who used what the pick offers and made a playstyle of it, not the other way around. Respect.

Taric otp here, been following this guy for a while now, His playstyle is less bruiser orientated so its less fun in low elo, however given how he plays i can see why he's so successful in this level of solo q. You forgot to mention he goes this build when he goes taric supp and taric jgl too, Taking exhaust and smite respectfully and going the exact same build
what i learn from this channel is that every strategy can work as long as u serious about it and invest time to perfect it, i hope one day i can be feature by you chimenoises
There is a lot of strategy plays that are not even thought about but can have a serious impact on a game. singed support with smite who counter jungles early game was done by a plat player some seasons back. I know myself playing warwick top and being able to freely counter jungle since he can't die to jungle camps as long as he autos were fun, I also recall a tryda mid who used a strat where he would shove then steal raps/wolves every chance or any camp before he backed on a notion that starving the enemy jungle would slowly force a lead my personal favorite has been playing Kindred top or adc, playing a support jungle between lane shoving since they have sustaine in kit already to be able to and it pays off to get marks, made even better by kins ability to just wall hop

I loved doing Battle Taric on top lane, it feels soo good to see someone cocky going for an engage without a way to withdraw and get murdered by a flurry of auto attacks till death.
I've always thought that without mana costs, Taric was the best punch-off 1v1 champ in the game. His pure attack speed, shielding, healing and stunning means level 4 nobody can beat him, and this man is taking that mentality all the way to level two. Crazy man
I used to play Taric Top with the old sheen / tiamat and just obliterate people in early trades, but it was indeed very mana consuming. Now that sheen doen't give mana anymore i might just try this tank roam Taric, such a fun champ to play !
I would suggest to everyone new to taric or below plat to buy a tear of godess on your first back, it makes your life so much easier and you can make more solo plays, which is quite often the case in low elo. This will increase both your dmg and sustain. Also, never use Q outside of combat
You can do everything of this but better in the jgl. You don't have a lane to worry about and you can freely roam. Your clear is also great. I often go stridebreaker, but I guess chemtank is fine as well.

It's not a secret interaction tbh. It's just that people don't read what Glacial Augment does and it's usually left unpicked anyways... I like to use it on tanks or characters who like to waste time for enemies/immobile carries coz with Glacial you can not only have more utility : more flexible item builds, aggressive and defensive slow that ether let's you stay on the target or kite them, easy synergy with cheap shot and approach velocity. So if someone is interested to try this rune I've got a suggestion for ya : try it on Pyke and Jhin. It's synergises with their kit really well so there's no real need for extra damage that you would usually use. And like I said earlier - try it with cheap shot and approach velocity. Since you'll be able to activate a slow just by poking you'll be able to have extra movement speed and extra pure damage on command easily. It's my new favorite combination since season 11 so good luck and have fun with it!
I played Taric top a few times . It started with me and my friends trolling each other in Flex , I am the usual top laner but we invited some new players and we were trying new champs so i was thinking wouldn't it be funny to be Taric top . Then i turned into the unkillable Jojo character. I literally went 1v5 under both the nexus turrets and got a penta and survived. I think that was my best performence ever.

INTeresting playstyle I found that manamune frozen heart taric worked really well also :) Frozen heart is super cost effective and manaumune really provides you with a lot of valuable things, dmg, cdr, more mana to spam abilities ect.
@@Dom-zy1qy No it isn't you can be a duelist it depends on your runes. You go PTA manamune, stridebreaker and frozen heart and you can duel a lot of champions.
Been trying this recently and, sadly, it feels completely impossible. There's just so much damage coming that it's impossible to tank even with Q spam.

I often play Nautilus and Zac top and have a similar mind-set when it comes to roaming. Especially with Nautilus lvl 6: in Gold many players dont look at the map and you can get free kills on the enemy midlaner.
I think this would struggle against split push pressure or a global. If they don’t int the level 2 I think he just gets out scaled. Gangplank or Yorick would punish the roams or nocturne and Shen can follow the roams. Stirdebreaker also works with glacial.
