Honestly addy’s picks are so fire and unique.
But of all his picks the shyvana top was actually a really good meta pick. He shifted the Meta over to way tankier shyv.
Ive done this as troll pick from my friends for past 4 patches. It's bonkers

Taric has always been insane in terms of raw power. If you try to engage into him or his team he'll win hard because he gets free autos to put more spells out. His problem in support is that he is less proactive than other ones; if you miss your relatively short range stun and can't get in auto range, your window of opportunity for offense is weak. He's always been a pick made to stifle diving comps rather than be a diver himself. This is an interesting proactive play style that goes against his normal weaknesses
not to mention, the stun being super super predicatable

I had played old Taric before and it was insanely strong. His kit made him could 1vs1 any champion in early game. After abilities reworked, I thought Taric would be useless , good to see Ady bringing him back to top lane

@@Jayden-zq6fj it's different with taroc since all you are going to be hitting with your stun is their Frontline or your linked teammate got in there and stunned their backliners. The cc is really short ranged unlike Leona who can ult and try to get to their fed carry she benefits from anth bcuz of the 30% dmg red and the -20 tenacity. With taroc it's hard to replicate what Leona does.

He goes turbo chemtec 6:13 and 7:42 so he changes it depending on situation
I think against range he goes turbo chemtank since he need a gap close that is reliable not like ghost, and also he's playing against kayle so he probably want the flat ms for his e because of kayle w
A thing to note as someone who plays Taric, he does better into heavy ad comps since his passive damage scales with armor.
Also frozen heart is a must especially if you're learning Taric. You'll likely end up mismanaging his mana and frozen heart helps mitigate it.
what do you thing about going into the precision tree second with presence of mind and tenacity/attackspeed? From my experience presence of mind with manaflow solves mana problems like nothing else
@@tillbold357 Yeah it's true, but i guess that in this case taric benefits much more of tankiness in the toplane, needless of presence of mind and tenacity
we use tenacity and presence of mind cause the 2v2 on botlane is much more intense with supports that have hard cc's, and recover more mana killing 2 instead of 1
On the toplane he needs the tankiness after the 10min and the revitalize to heal a lil more
but ofc i think that presence and tenacity is much more op on him
@@Matrioth Thats why i thought the attack speed might be a legit alternative to the obvious tenacity for this tree, especially for 1v1. Unlike everything else in lol, tarics passive just doubles the total attackspeed (including bonus as) while taric struggles to buy AS from viable items

Lee sin can conjure and auto while stunned, it happens quite often
unlike other champions, lee sin isn't stunned by taric's beauty bcs he's blind
I left LoL years ago..still don't like the game because I think each game takes too damn long. But Taric was my main back then, and damn his remake still seems really fun. Taric Forever Fabulous.
Imagine if more players were like Ady and actually played unique champs in off meta roles.

I did have a friend who played mostly Leona and Taric top (1m and 300k points on them). Having a CC bot as your top laner is pretty insane once it's time to teamfight.
played this for ages after his rework. 150k point straight on only taric top/jungle. havent tried since DS, but it seems like DS might be fun as well

Sometime ago when there was a meta for supp top and all roaming stuff, i said to my friends that in my opinion taric allways will be better at this than any other support but for some reason nobody wants to play him, i didnt wanted to prove anything since im adc main and i didnt cared that much about it.
Now after that meta being nerfed and stuff, u can see Andy proving what ive said beforehand, that this champion cant be balanced in current state of the game.
Mark my words boys, zilean gonna comeback soon as well, when ppl will finally pickup how broken that champion is in current meta :pp

@@terencetrumph9962 but he is right. Janna top was countered by heavy splitpushers like jax, trynd, fiora, etc
@@PaladineAvenger1 Oh definitely, it counters the strat, but it doesn't exactly guarantee the splitter a win. You have teammates who can B and deal with wave management. You can push faster as a team than 1 splitter. At worst you're going even, but I definitely wouldn't call it "terrible".
@@terencetrumph9962 yea sacrificing 1 to get your bot lane ahead, putting their adc sp and even their jungle down if they fight back. This could fail but the odds are still heavily favoured, 1 for 3
it works well in challanger, it doesn't matter if you have a nasus top splitpushing when taric + fed team can end the game by forcing team-wide dives (not sure but I would guess he doesn't pick taric against a team with good disangage champs such as janna)
but that is true in low elo, well even to diamond - low master this isn't a good pick, if anything you are probably better by snowballing yourself in those situations because people really underestimate taric 1v1 potential

Taric is strong but it's tough if the guy knows how his passive works. Against champion who will force short trades it's a nightmare

I was playing couple days ago against a challanger on EUNE, of course he was a taric abuser and played only that, i was playing yorick, early he got stomped and no matter what he had 400 armor after couple minutes and you were perma stunned from him even with 60% tenacity, absolute bullshit.

Wait why Frozen Gaunlet mythic, and not chemtank mythic with those runes? Wouldn't Chemtank give more CD, and damage with the phase rush rune? Maybe I don't know, but I don't see the mythic passive being stronger, but I also didn't try it.

It’s viable yes. You proc sheen insanely fast and auto a lot. The problem is unless your against like 4 tanks it’s not as useful as most tank mythic items for a team fight. Situationally good though.
