      Sorry for the delayed reply, but I've only just seen this message. I use a firm lightweight tarlatan fabric which I stock in my Etsy shop.

    Thank you Alison, just bought one of your kits and using these videos to help. Once you have your piece on your mount board, what do you use to attach your mount on top please?

      Hello Jill, Glad to hear your making use of the videos to make up your kit. You don't need to attach your mount to your mounted piece, as once it goes into a frame it will all hold together.
      Best wishes
      Alison

      You could always use double sided tape in the margins to make sure it will stay together.

      I get them bespoke made by my framer. Any good framer should be able to do it for you.

    Do you put glass in your frames if so how do you manage the depths of buttons etr

    • @alisonwhateleydesign502
      @alisonwhateleydesign502  Год назад

      Yes I do, but it is important to make sure that no part of the artwork touches the glass. I get all my work professionally framed and I either get it framed in a box frame, or use extra thick mount board and double mount it.
