I'm a Seahawks fan and I couldn't believe they let him keep playing. That stupid field ruined him more than anything. Trying to play on grass in January is retarded. It ruined Seattle's pass rush that year too with Cris Clemons' injury.
@@daneevans7590 Cam Newton has done reasonably well in his 8 years. He's not on the level of Brady, Brees, Rodgers, Peyton Manning, or Ben R, but he's still one of the better QBs in the league.

The fault goes where it as always belonged since the Cooke family sold the Redskins, with Dan Snyder! Snyder is a curse to football and unfortunately, to my Redskins. This team will never be good under his ownership because Snyder won’t accept the fact that he knows nothing about football. Jack Kent Cooke was a great owner because he wrote checks and trusted his GM to find a good coach and then let that coach run the team. Snyder loves getting involved with the players, especially the superstars of the team. He is always involved in the selection of players in the draft. An owner has no place there. It is the vision of the GM and coach as to what kind of a team they will build and field the proper players to full full those roles. Players that will fit well within a system, where guys like Dan think that you just draft all of the trophy winners and college superstars and any superstars you can pick up on free agency, because stars win championships. How well has this worked for him? The worst thing Dan does is giving his phone number to the stars on the team. He allows those stars to dictate how they will be handled and this will make you a disjointed horrible team. Each player is concerned with their role and how their career will unfold, not looking at the team as a whole. Football is a team sport, more so than most any other sport. You can’t just have a few Michael Jordans who can take you to multiple world titles in football. Joe Gibbs won multiple titles by building a team, with the biggest emphasis on the offensive line. That line won them three world titles, not some flashy QB or RB. In fact, Gibbs won those titles with 3 different QBs and several different RBs, but most of the same lineman on offense. Dan Snyder should just hire a good GM who will select a coach with a similar vision and then write checks and stay out of the way. He will never build a great team in Washington letting the star players call the shots. Shanahan, like Gibbs, was a proven SB winner, but neither of them could do more than make a playoff appearance under Snyder. Gibbs posted one playoff win and it was a close one in Tampa, but Gibbs should have done so much more with that team. It was RGIII that wrecked his own fate by staying in that playoff game when the Skins had a 14 advantage early in the game and Cousins on the bench. The next day Shanahan said he went the the guy that he felt gave them the best chance to win and that was bullshit. I know that Shanahan is smarter than that. What a major insult to Cousins saying that a crippled RGIII gives them a better chance of winning a game they had a 14 point advantage in than sending in Cousins? Shanahan knew that was a load of crap, but he was covering for the real mess going on. A disaster where he had a twenty something year old spoiled brat making the calls for a multimillion dollar franchise, but he knew he was going to be out of there soon and there was no use stirring up trouble. Dan Snyder’s Redskins became a place where aging coaches and players went to make huge sums of money before retiring from football, not a place to win championships. Most of the coaches and players had already done that and were no longer hungry for victory, just a large payday to set them up for life. It saddens me to know that the skins will never be great again in my lifetime. Snyder is one of the youngest owners in football and one of the richest, so he is going nowhere anytime soon. He is too hardheaded to ever see how he is the problem and will continue to let the superstar players call him and bitch about the coaches and then he will get the coaches straight. That is not how you run a football franchise. All of the fault for what happened to RGIII and every other player and coach that has run through Washington since the 1990s is ultimately the fault of Dan Snyder. He just can’t limit his involvement in the team and like all super rich people, he is surrounded with “yes men”, so there is no one to tell him the truth, he knows nothing about football and how to run an NFL franchise. Until he realizes that, things will never get better in Washington, they just continue to get worse.
Wolverine Smith WOW! That’s a whole lot of info about Snyder & the Skins. But...you lost me when you said RG3 ruined his own career by ‘staying in’ that playoff game. Hell, he’s still just a young, twenty-something, athlete playing his initial years in the Big League’s. It is the coach’s job to make the correct decisions for his players...Snyder or no Snyder. Would you have left that limping, struggling kid in the game? I wouldn’t!!
Viceroy Bear Sorry to hear that from an avid football fan. So if the Skins would’ve won THAT playoff game with a badly hobbled QB, how would he do in the next Playoff Game, the following week? And the week after that? Short-term thinking...there’s always next year for me, especially when your talking about a career ending injury to a young player with so much potential.
That injury killed me as a Washington fan. I was just 7, but to see the guy that brought Washington back to relevance go down, in the 4th quarter of our first playoff game in 5 years, only down by 7. That killed us and our momentum for 2 years. When we gave him up after the concussion in 2015, it was sad. Granted, Kirk did take us to the playoffs that year and never went worse than 7-9, but seeing a generational talent that good go to waste, killed me. I was so happy to see him play Pittsburgh a few weeks back. He had that 39 yard run, and I just saw 2012. I hope he gets a chance to start again, but he's running out of time
Wrong. Shanahan had to dumb down his playbook for RGIII. The guy is d7mb as a brick. Why c9 you think he ran so much? He had NO idea what was happening on the field and ran to save his life. You’re only going to get away with that for so long.
Brian Jones you’re just a hater. Lamar is a great player and the chances of that happening are very low. RGIII was the first of this story we’ve heard of in the NFL, why should it be a common in any quarterback in the NFL. Learn your facts bro.

I would dare not to call that guy a bust whatsoever. He wanted to play a position that he loved in a sport he loved and fought back after injury after injury and after injury. RG3 shows nothing but heart and that’s something to appreciate about him. (Btw I heard the Redskins got some QB problems right now. They should look into some guy in Baltimore 🤐)
I thought Vince Young was gonna be the next Michael Vick, I thought RG3 was gonna be the next Michael Vick, now I realize there can be only one Michael Vick.
I cried when he got injured, I had gotten injured in Afghanistan the same year and I felt his pain. RGIII was in Baltimore mentoring Lamar Jackson and what a fantastic job he did.
We were up 14 to 0 against the Seahawks in that playoff game. I literally screamed at the TV take him out but they left him in and he reinjured himself again! END OF STORY! #HTTR! PS. I believed he still had more in the tank though...
I never thought I would see the day I agree with Dan Synder. Even as a cowboys fan I wanted to see RG3 succeed and when he played against the cowboys as a rookie, it was a beautiful thing to see.
Honestly, RG3 had god-status before he even threw a pass. That got to his head quick. his injury in college may have had him thinking he wouldn't be valued as high, but he was. The trouble with RG3 was his game didn't evolve. And when he kept running out of protection and getting smacked, THOSE injuries caught up with him. He never learned, at that time, to be an effective pocket quarterback and get past the first read. Defenses picked up on that and started to make him pay. Good QB's learn to read, adapt, and only run when necessary. RG3 ran every chance he got early in his Redskins career...hence, his injuries.
I totally disagree. He did get a big head young dumb. He got hit a lot bunch of cheap shots after he was already headed to the sidelines. The team didn't protect his job if he's your future don't make the youngsta feel like he has to rush back from that injury if not for that play skinz wouldn't have a chance to make the playoffs. Same type of hit and situation Carson Went is in. Should have came out of the vs Seattle was up 14. The team needs that man back that's why other fans run the stadium
While yes, the issue is that his game never evolved, he also essentially lost an arm in a fight. Getting injured in that playoff game made him a shell of his former self. If he were able to evolve, he could stay relevant. But that's easier said than done, for all yall who play sports out there, you know what your strong suit is and how to get to it. His strong suit was taken from him.
RGIII was such a great player. The Redskins dumb decision to play him ruined him. Not let him pass more. I hope someone gives him another shot so he can do good again.
If I remember correctly when he was with the Skins If I remember correctly when he was with the Skins Shanahan benched his ass because he refused to stay in the pocket and pass the ball....Scramble, scramble.....Eventually, that scrambling shit is either going to get you benched or injured... He got both...
God man...I still remember that game. I think I was still in middle school, watching the game with my dad while eating Domino's pizza. It was heartbreaking...
He went right past the ball during a live game, knew recovering it was an absolute priority - but was in so much pain he didn’t dare move. Hurts my soul to watch this. Heartbreaking.

Even tho he may not get the same love from nfl fans as he used to, I was still super hyped when he first went to Baltimore and I’m still hyped he’s in Baltimore again this year. Love me some RGIII. Even when he under preforms
Are you from or in Texas! I hate he didn't pursue track and field. He broke the Texas state record of Rio's Olympics 400 Hurdler Kerron Clement, who eventually won Gold in Rio!!!
It's simple what happened to RG3.The defenses of the NFL figured out that by rule a qb becomes a runner once he starts outside into the run/pass option and thus could hit him as hard as a runner. His body just couldn't take the pounding. He was slight by football standards, and injuries were inevitable. In the end, though, RG3 has made it work out for him anyway in the broadcasting booth, where he is doing really well.
They have always favored cousins period. They should have let someone else take him in. You see how quick they dismiss a quarterback. Redskins will forever be cursed. Don't know what would lift it. So many injures in one season this year. RG3 still has potential just needs a team willing to take him.
MATH LOVER exactly! That's something missing from the video, RG3 not knowing how to slide and the hit by Haloti Ngata against the Ravens that caused the injury during the regular season.
Yeah I'm surprised that it wasn't discussed in this video as to how he was getting hit an awful lot throughout his rookie season--much more than what you'd want for a QB.
Mike Shanahan happened. That's what happened to him. He marches an injured RG3 onto the field with an already bad knee and he gets demolished on the sideline. That was pretty much the end of his productive career.
Lies lies lies . mike tried to bench him to let him heal before the season started and rg3 made passive aggressive comments to media that made local fans and local media accuse mike of lying about him being hurt and wanting to sabatoge him cause he black . then in the playoff game when mike tried to sit him when it was clear he was hurt rg3 ran on the field and refused to come off the field . than when the next season started mike wanted him to sit to heal from acl surgery and rg3 started a media firestorm by saying he was healthy and even had his doctor lie and say he was healthy . this was all aided by Dan Snyder who dumb ass applied pressure to mike to start him or ELSE. Rg3 made his bed he has to lay in it
Christopher Bingham it’s your Franchise QB he’s limping and hurting it’s the Coaches job to sit a player I saw that game It was a shame mike should of took him out
realone504 exactly they could’ve taken his helmet away from him like they do when players have concussions and force him to sit out if especially if he’s your supposed franchise QB. I don’t care players are always gonna wanna play no matter how hurt they are it’s up to the coach especially a hall of fame coach to preserve your future period
Got figured out. Do you need the list of these guys. Lamar Jackson is the most recent. He is done . RPO qb’s have an 18 month shelf life. It should be shorter. Athletic qb’s never learn accuracy.
Jora Music RG3 was never going to be good. He had a bad knee injury at Baylor. That was not the problem. He was a great hurdler , world class . These types of players never learn to make tight throws. Their scrambling ability in college gives their WR’s huge separation. Not so in the nfl . People keep referencing Mahomes. Mahomes is a pure gifted thrower , his legs make him quite possibly the best ever. Time will tell.
He beat the cowboys while hopping around in one leg then they threw him in against the best defense in football at the time. While still hopping around on one leg.
He didn't want to come off and avoided the physios on the side line. I think he should never have started the game, because he could barely walk. But he felt too threatened by Cousins to sit. Plenty of blame to go around on this one.
@@shotgunner5514 A good coach would have recognised his talent and listened to the player when he is saying he shouldnt be running. A good example is look at what the Seahawks did with Russell Wilson after he injured himself. The read option is barely in their playbook now, and Wilson is in the pocket much more often. Shanahan didnt give a rats ass about RG3's long term health, he just had the shortsighted goal of the performing well right then. Now Wilson is known as a top tier QB and RG3 is a backup that most people dont even know is still in the league. It could have gone very different for RG3 if he just worked on his throw and poise in the pocket.
@Shorty He was out for a season while injured. It's not like he's gone unscathed for 20 years. His O-Line has just been incredible for the better part of his career. I'm more amazed Ben Roethlisberger is still playing. Steelers had a pretty bad offensive line until like 2012. Dude is just a tank.
Tom Brady protects himself very well. You see others doing the same like Brees and the Manning brothers just to name a few. When they feel there gonna get hit they just take a dive. Some people say that’s cowardice but when you have a career like an NFL QB it pays to be reliable and that’s what their preserving, their reliability.
The coaches wanted RGIII to take it easy , RGIII was the one pushing to get back on the field , throwing his coach under the bus and getting him fired. When a player is more excited about their socks than learning a playbook you know his career is in trouble . Skins drafted Cousins the same year as RGIII ........tells you something right there .
@luis _ Year after RGIII got hurt , media asked RGIII if hes ready ? RGIII said " yeah im ready " . Media ask RGIII , Why ain't you playing more snaps in pre season then if your ready ? RGIII says " Coaches decision " Then every time RGIII doesn't want to answer a question from the media......" Coaches decision " . Just like baby Marshawn Lynch at the Super Bowl " Im only here so I don't get fined " comment . It all becomes childish after awhile . Players want money but they don't want to talk to the media . I said it before and Ill say it again .......RGIII was way more worried about what socks he was wearing than worrying about learning a playbook . RGIII basically got Mike Shannahan fired by repeatedly throwing him under the bus. If RGIII had Shannahan back it might be different. the Redskins made one of the all time stupid decisions to trade a ton of draft picks to the Rams for RGIII. How did that trade turn out for the Rams ? Yeah it freaking set them up to build a Super Bowl type roster. RGIII was a big bust .
Although I would love to see RG3 get another starting shot I think the situation he’s in now is perfect mentoring Lamar. Both have similar skill sets. Both great players.
RG winning percentage is about 10% as a starter. You’ve been sucked into the hype, and the truth is that RG is terribly inaccurate. NFL defenses adapt and eventually stop running QB’s who are incapable passers. That’s the RG story.
@@Crankbait tbh I don’t think he ever recovered from his rookie season, he put up good completion and good yards but after that he just didn’t have that same fire

Wassergekuhlt The QB rules don’t apply when a QB is a runner. RGIlls problem is that he never learned to take advantage of them. He ran like a running back and he took big hits for it. He didn’t slide very much
It’s football. It’s a CONTACT sport. He was way too small and weak to be taking hits in general in the NFL. Go watch soccer if you want to see no one get hit.
the dude got hurt when just running out of bounds. had nothing to do with getting hit. he sucked and was one year wonder. once the league watched tapes, they knew how to defend him. and he was so fragile. you look at him and he gets hurt. I'm really REALLY surprised he didn't get hurt playing the end of the ravens game.

@@@DiddyKatt Nevertheless. He is still the best QB the Redskins have had since Theisman and it was folly to let him go. Particularly to let him go for nothing like the Redskins did. Besides, if the Bears can win a SB with Grossman the Vikings ought to be able to win one with Cousins. Truth is the rest of that team has been mediocre to awful.
ZanMan27F5 • he’s played a few drives in the last few weeks, his contract is up at the end of the year and I promise you he will be on another team starting within a year
Why is this even a discussion? If you can throw and run as a QB in high school and college, you're amazing. When you go to the NFL, you're going to get injured when you run.
He came to my high school earlier this year and just answered questions from the students. He's a really nice guy. He took pictures with people afterward even though he had somewhere else to be. I always heard about him when I was in elementary school because I live in a small city right outside of Waco and he was kinda a big deal around here, so it was really cool to actually get to see him in person.
If you get hurt in college you get more so in the pros. That class of QBs was crazy. Russell Wilson. Andrew Luck. RGIII. Colin Kaepernick. Some straight up studs.
Ahhhh yes, Josh Gordon, the man of 10,000 second chances. As for RG3, not only were injuries the obvious culprit in his downfall, but also the league figured him out. He wasn't great in the pocket and he took unnecessary risks all the time when scrambling. Not a recipe for a long career.
@@jimlamanna9712 Absolutely. Guy's like Russel Wilson last because they look to pass before run, while RG3 does the complete opposite. RG3 is literally made out of popsicle sticks too which doesn't help.
@@RobimusPrime I hope those guy's don't go down the RG3 path. While I didn't watch a ton of Jackson in college, I've always been a Watson fan as I watched plenty of his games. That guy's o-line should've been charged with attempted murder last year for how many times they let him get hit.
I ran hurdles with him throughout highschool in Killeen Tx. I remember him being more humble than boasting, even though he had ever right to be. He averaged about 2 to 4 seconds faster than anyone else in the district at hurdles. He was actually 1 of 3 seniors from his year that ended up getting signed. Sad to see what ended up happening after the fact but regardless of that he has had a wild ride.
U watched the whole thing. Is it me, or do receivers play a huge fucking role in the success of the qb? That was an amazing catch moreso than the throw was. just sayin....
@Captain Cor Santana Moss was a freak - he was on the Jets for a while - little guy but if the ball came within 5 yards of his body, he caught it. Defenders were almost irrelevant. Even the few highlights here you see him make some unreal catches, and he just gets up for the next play, no hotdogging nonsense.
Too scared if you asked me. That knee injury made him want to change his game in less than a year but it doesn't happen like that. He's the type who would have to let his passing game evolve instead of switch on overnight- thats what he tried to do when he told shanahan he wanted to pass more and run less but shanahan told him he wasn't there yet. Deshaun Watson admitted he played kinda scared this past year too but he still performed at a high level with 4000yds 26tds 9ints and 500yds 5tds rushing. Heading into 2019 fully healthy with a full season under his belt, he's fully confident heading into 2019.
Rg3 lied to the team doctors about the injury. The player HAS to be honest to the doctors. Yes he injured his knee in that playoff game. Then he HE HIMSELF lied AGAIN at the start of the next year (year 2) by rushing HIMSELF to get back as the starter. He wasn’t ready but persuaded and lied to the coaches about the injury and also demanded (with Snyder’s approval) that he be a pocket passer and he clearly wasn’t that type of QB. He considered himself a legend because he had a great start to his rookie season and he became a little pampered premadonna! You can’t blame shanahan
Something left in the tank? All of the touchdown passes on this highlight video are either hitting guys that are 10 yards wide open or throwing up a jump ball to a covered receiver. Like Shanahan said, he's no Peyton Manning.
But it takes time sometimes. You go watch film of cousins and i could argue the same thing. Hell Andy Dalton was mediocre in the passing game till like the 6 season in the league. The difference between Dalton and Rg3 tho is that there was a committment to Dalton and there wasnt one with Griffin because the constantly with other qbs.
And I think he took a pretty good shot when he did get the ball but fortunately didn't get hurt again. Just something about the way he runs that causes him to take these killer hits or land awkwardly.
In 2012, RG3 was electrifying as he earned a pro bowl and NFL offensive rookie of the year. One year later, in a 2013 playoff game against the Seahawks, Redskins’ head coach, Mike Shanahan made a selfish and shortsighted decision to keep an obviously injured RG3 in the game despite the fact he could barely walk on an injured leg. As a result, RG3 suffered a torn LCL, ACL, and meniscus, which ruined a promising career and changed the history of the Washington franchise. We’ll never know how great RG3 might have been if Coach Shanahan had valued his quarterback’s health over a meaningless playoff game.
as a skins fan i can firmly say that mike shanahan should've took him out of the game and shouldve knew he was severely hurt after getting hit and limping off the sidelines. its a shame how someones promising career and talent was wasted all because a coach wouldn't sit him for a drive or two and see what was hurting
Back when RG3 was at Baylor, he was putting up numbers, every game, like the competition was on rookie with all their sliders set to zero and all of his maxed out. It also seemed like the competition’s speed was set at zero when he threw the deep ball. Dude was unreal. We haven’t seen anything remotely close to the show he put on since Michael Vick
Redskins have a great offensive line every year. Only problem is they keep getting hurt every year. It's ridiculous how many injuries the skins oline has had to go through the last 3yrs
@@grouchygrundle Yep, Skins fan here.. OL has always been great and it's another year of being the most injured NFL team, 2 pro bowl OL out and 17 injured players on top of it.
@@buddybarlow9604 I live in philly & follow the NFC east closely. Redskins were humming along offensively until the half the oline got hurt. Then Smith breaks his leg n the whole team went off the rails. Last year I had cousins as my qb in fantasy n he was doing fine until the oline started getting banged up.
He gets hurt every time he gets a chance. This video makes it sound as if he played all of that seven game streak, which was a bit lucky. But he didn't. He hurt his knee against the Ravens while crossing the middle of the field as if he had lost his damn mind, and it was Cousins who closed out that game. It was Cousins who smashed the Browns the week after that as well, in a manner not at all befitting a backup QB. And that is the real reason why RGIII didn't come off in the Seattle game until he couldn't get back up. He was afraid of Cousins and didn't want him to play. That is why he lied to Shanahan and told him he was ready to play when he clearly was not. The coach should sit him anyway maybe. But when your player tells you he's fine you listen to that. Right? To me this has always been the height of his hubris as an NFL player. By this point he was busy waving American flags before the games, openly comparing himself to Peyton and Rodgers in pressers and obviously deeply committed to his role as the Messiah of Washington. And obviouly the Messiah wouldn't get injured. But it wasn't just the knee either. He also suffered a concussion due to personal stupidity earlier in the year against the Falcons. A mindless sideline dive that could have put him in a wheel chair. And this has been the theme with him. Can't slide or protect himself and gets injured because of it. You wanna blame coaches for this? I blame fans and other people praising him for playing like he did. You're the ones responsible for fueling his ego to the point where he couldn't take basic coaching anymore. If he had just learned how and when to slide and nothing else he would still be playing. He might even still be the Redskins QB. And this is how it continued as well. 2013 was completely lost with him in a brace trying to be a pocket passer. And then in 2014, his long awaited brace-less return, he dislocated his ankle almost immediately and started the worst QB carousel I can remember as a Skins fan. It didn't help either that he was horrible when he finally returned and clearly deeply uncomfortable in Gruden's offense. Then in 2015 he played so incompetently in the preseason that the head coach finally got ownership on board with starting Cousins. And that was the end of it. He had no confidence left, his team mates had given up on him and the speed was gone. Or he refused to use it. Then the Browns a year later; his second comeback. And once again he lasted just two games before injuring himself again with another mindless sideline dive. And that was the end of that chance. And he still can't slide. Too much focus on catch phrases and "branding" and not enough on learning how to be an NFL starting QB. Which includes playing in a way that lets you stay healthy for 16 weeks+. He never did. If you weren't there in 2012-15 I really recommend rewinding the news a little bit to see for yourself just how RGIII perceived his situation through all this. Right until the end he was the Messiah, even though the months kept adding up in which he had not played so much as a good series, let alone a good game. He was completely delusional in 2013 and 14. That more than anything sealed his fate with the Skins. Struggles we can deal with. Injuries we can sort of deal with too. But a massive swollen head on a guy who can't and won't listen to reason is too much.
I remember seeing him almost beat us (Texas Tech) when he was a Freshman and my dad and I both said that guy's going to be trouble. What happened to him is really sad. He had insane potential.
His physical prowess is just not strong enough to take the pounding the NFL dishes out. If he had a decent offensive line and didn’t run so much I believe he could have been a decent QB.
“Rg3 couldn’t escape the injury bug” Yea cuz of all his game I never once saw him slide, not a single time. He literally didn’t know how to slide. And worse off he was so reckless when he did run
Confidence is Everything in football and when you lose it, its hard to get back and especially if your injured because that becomes a main factor in your confidence once healed then it affects your ability wich affects your confidence and then its over.

I detest SHANAHAN for ruining this young star’s NFL Career. RG3 was really something special. The Coach sees RG3 limping around YET leaves him in?
PhantomEchos Perhaps...but Shanahan was still his coach & he’s still supposed to look out for his ‘young’ players welfare.

In the end, though, RG3 has made it work out for him anyway in the broadcasting booth, where he is doing really well.

Being from Waco I love this guy... But Washington is where QB careers die..
Same here. Went to many BU games just to watch him.
Miss the days watching him at Floyd Casey
Not Cousins' career.
@@politicallycorrectredskin796 Cousin's barely holding on. Getting folks fired

Why is this even a discussion? If you can throw and run as a QB in high school and college, you're amazing. When you go to the NFL, you're going to get injured when you run.
Also, RGIII never learned how to slide.
gaaramookow he’s slid several times and has ran out of bounds to avoid hits several times in Baltimore.
or pocket pass.....or set his feet...or read a defense.....the surprise would be if he HAD a long career

This is heartbreaking even as somebody who has never been a fan for his teams.
Same thing with Johnny manzel
Justin Miller Scramble first QBs get crushed in the NFL
@@jimlamanna9712 Absolutely. Guy's like Russel Wilson last because they look to pass before run, while RG3 does the complete opposite. RG3 is literally made out of popsicle sticks too which doesn't help.
Lamar Jackson looks like he is going in that direction. Same with DeShaun Watson.
@@RobimusPrime I hope those guy's don't go down the RG3 path. While I didn't watch a ton of Jackson in college, I've always been a Watson fan as I watched plenty of his games. That guy's o-line should've been charged with attempted murder last year for how many times they let him get hit.
God that snap in the seattle game where he just collapses was heartbreaking. He wanted it so bad but it was just too much.

CoLatrL.Damg3 He’s one of the skins greats. He stuck around for years.
R Fletcher No Tom Brady turned decent receivers into pro bowlers but ab Hopkins and Julio can’t turn a justin Winston into a sb mvp
tom brady has had 457 different receivers and he's been fine for two decades now
After his injury he played scared.
Like Wentz now.

Lol XFL reference
RG3 always took off running then cries hes a pocket passer I love it. Dude thought he was Tony Romo.

Nah he needs to be the backup in Baltimore for the rest of his career. The MVP needs a good backup.
He started against the Steelers last week, he did alright. He won’t ever be the same again, but he’ll at least always be a solid backup
Hell naw
Something left in the tank? All of the touchdown passes on this highlight video are either hitting guys that are 10 yards wide open or throwing up a jump ball to a covered receiver. Like Shanahan said, he's no Peyton Manning.
But it takes time sometimes. You go watch film of cousins and i could argue the same thing. Hell Andy Dalton was mediocre in the passing game till like the 6 season in the league. The difference between Dalton and Rg3 tho is that there was a committment to Dalton and there wasnt one with Griffin because the constantly with other qbs.
he actually got to play today
ravens vs cheifs lamar got hurt
So that's what happened to him, he's still in the playoff hunt....nice 😉
And I think he took a pretty good shot when he did get the ball but fortunately didn't get hurt again. Just something about the way he runs that causes him to take these killer hits or land awkwardly.
king alex As a Ravens fan....get him the fuck off my team lmao
@@GlobalWarmingSkeptic yeah, he needs to learn to slide.
@@keinlieb3818That's true but I think that's only part of it since even QBs who fall forward often don't take these kinds of huge hits.
When RGIII's injury, and leaving him in, become front page of the Washington Post, you know it's f'd up in DC!
The Scatman everything is fucked up in d.c., everything.
I scream the moment I seen you uploaded!!
This was an extremely informative and honest video... Awesome job
The Redskins ruined RG3. Forcing him to play even though he was injured. Plus the Redskins haven't had a good offensive line in 25 years.
Nah, just two years ago, Washington had one of the offensive lines in the NFL
Forcing him to play? They held a gun to his head? No him and his shoe company are to blame
I always want to see rg3 get another chance i wish he would get a chance in new York
Fake CNN Bomb he’s not a bust tho lol
@@politicallycorrectredskin796 he never had a good chance in Cleveland the line was completely dog shit

His rookie season was amazing, until he got hurt! He had a badass crew of receivers! That acl injury just never goes away completely!
