Psychologist here... almost everything she said about emotions is wrong. I literally work with clients to do almost the opposite of what she is saying. Every emotion is important and serves an important purpose. One of the biggest thing I end up working on with clients is NOT stuffing down or ignoring "negative" emotions (I also hate calling any emotion "negative." I prefer "uncomfortable"). Anxiety, anger, frustration... all are important. They keep us safe and motivated and help us set boundaries with others. We specifically evolved with these emotions for a reason. UGH. She doesn't know what she's talking about, and it's frustrating.

Hi Isabella! Colombian here. I work for an international NGO that works in Latin America and I have to say that this video scared me a lot! Jesus… In general the LA region was hit really hard by the pandemic, the economy is bad: inflation rates raising, currencies losing their value, the war in Ucraine as well has impacted here, etc. Bolivia in general has an “stable” situation BUT is a low income country, the problem they have to create employment, to fight racism (they have indigenous people), the poverty, the gender gaps, access to education are huge, and they (we in general in the region) do not need MLMs and worse if it is this type of scams. What a nightmare. And she was offensive: “they do not know anything so I’m going to take their money” what an awful person. God… this is horrible… as I read above: huns doing another type of colonialism… I’m soooo upset 😡
In US we can report this stuff to SEC FTC different government agencies. How do we tell the people of Bolivia and their government that this is a scam?

This is sick. They’re running out of prospects in North America, so now they’re moving on to even more vulnerable impoverished groups. To prey on people who are struggling to find basic necessities like clean water access, food security and reliable employment is beyond depraved and morally bankrupt.

Agree! In any regular business, spreading international is a sign of success. In MLMs, it’s a sign that they are desperately attempting to expand their pool as they quickly reach saturation. It shows that they are running out of people, time and money.
Mathematically, the bubble will burst at some point and you will either recruit all that can be recruited, or you need to shut down- either way it is clear the clock is ticking. Too bad they have to drag down vulnerable people with them just for a finite amount of money/success. Absolute greed.
This is probably one of the most egregious examples of how predatory MLMs are. Rarely am I angered and disgusted by these reps, but this is a whole different low.
Karma cannot come soon enough for her to suit me. And while she's preaching toxic positivity I just want to start screaming that people have real problems. Housing, food insecurity, and the political landscape... *waves hands wildly around*

I’m a fist Gen Latina and this is gross. Latin America has been crippled by not only US “intervention” and meddling in their gov’t but also by years of civil war, dictatorship, greed, class/racism and many other factors. The fact that she felt it was ok to boast that people in LA make less than $350 a month but were willing to come to the event and invest is disgusting. She need to be humbled real quick

I think it’s awful to run an MLM (scam) in any country regardless of wealth because the people they prey on typically aren’t starting out in a good financial, emotional, etc. standing. They typically don’t prey on the wealthy in any country because wealthy people don’t need to be manipulated to thinking a MLM will provide excess funds.

When I was in Thailand I saw a number of Western tourists panhandling and asking locals for donations to fund their “dream” trip around the world. Which I thought was gross considering the income disparity, and this gives the same vibes.

Isabella, thank you for your videos. I was a Paparazzi consultant back in 2020 when the pandemic hit. Although my upline was never vicious or vile, I always felt like I had to pretend to be someone else and see people as dollar signs to make more money. This makes me SO mad. As an investment professional, there are SO many free resources to learn about investing, different securities, etc. I felt sick watching this. Investopedia, Market Watch, or rent books from a library if possible. Many of us professionals would even answer questions for FREE!! Workshops and seminars to help get you started, many of them with little to no cost to attend, and NO scams. So upsetting.

At this point this is nearly the same thing as the scammers that promise old people money if they give up their life savings. Sure, that’s a 0% chance that it will work out for the victim, but this scam is only a 0.01% chance of working out so what is the difference?? I’m not violent but omg her bragging about going to areas where people are hungry and desperate because they make only $300 a month (it’s $150 a month to just stay in the company, how TF would that work) and basically saying they are so desperate for help they don’t even question anything (maybe I’m wrong but what I heard from that is she thinks these people are more ignorant and therefore can be taken advantage of easier, all while bragging about doing so) I just want to slap her across the face. iGenius is the most dangerous company right now because they require up front what most people lose in a year of being in other MLMs, and that’s not even counting the money they are supposed to be gambling with!!

Thank you for covering this Isabella. I've been watching Lily's international jaunts and growing increasing disgusted. The language she uses to describe the people's she's targeting is cringe inducing as are her actions. Over and over again I've seen these predatory practices and the damage they do in a number of countries. Lily being a woman of color and parent of immigrants makes it even more disappointing that she's set her eye on international markets and exploiting people. But of course she'd do this because she's in an MLM.
*Also I need her to stop with this high school level discussion on decision making. Funny how these MLM folks don't value formal education when they need more of it. All of that talk is about making fast decisions is to ignore one's legitimate doubts and do as she says.
The fast decision making which likely they aren't doing is pushed for those who have poor impulse decision, are easily addicted or crave instant results. In the end those people will look back as any gambler, addict, impulse shopper normally should & think wow that wasnt a good decision. As for targeting underprivileged people she & the company are morally bankrupt.

Lily is invalidating people having a normal wide range of feelings. As a business owner there is no way being positive all the time will produce what you need in business. Sometimes you have to curse out your suppliers for clients
Do we know if they are just doing the conversion to peso boliviano? Or if they adjusted the price for Latin America? As I understand to join igenius is upwards of 1000 USD, to the exchange that is around 7000 pesos.. that is A LOT of money for Latin America, in some places that is a few months wages... Good luck finding someone who is willing to pay 4 months of wages at a time to stay in your scam. As a latinamerican this infuriates me to no end.
If anyone signs up, their money is going to flow right out of the country when they need investment in their own communities.
I’m at the portion of the Zoom call which reeks toxic positivity. As if it’s negative to be sad, angry and all. Life is not always sunshine and rainbows. It’s ok to be sad, it’s ok to be angry. If you’re dealing with mental health issues, it’s ok to admit these and to seek appropriate help.

I try not to judge people based on their appearances, but whenever an influencer type person has a super fake, extremely airbrushed and heavily filtered appearance like that woman Lily, I find it hard to trust anything they say. I don't think there's anything wrong with using filters or editing to make yourself feel more confident online, but when someone is trying to sell me on a "lifestyle" or sell me products and they can't even show me their real face, I find it suspicious.
The unethical behaviors and exploitation from these scam artist are mind blowing. Every time I think I can’t be more shocked by their actions they just step it up a level. Thank you for service, Isabella!

Imagine me as an occupational therapist telling someone who has anxiety just make a decision be certain about yourself and then take action… That is literally all of the things that people with anxiety can’t do because they have anxiety. Like when I am super anxious there are a lot of times that I need someone else to make the decision for me and help me get started otherwise I get stuck. This chick is the worst. She definitely takes over the spot from the ketones woman (her name escapes me now, the self-proclaimed #1 network marketer). She's under 25 and has a 40s vibe. She has convinced herself it's cool to take an entire month of earning from Bolivian people because it's good for them, meanwhile just look at the data, Lily. Most will fail and now you have set these people back a month of earning. I do hope karma exists but I'm not holding my breath. My only consolation here is that once people double down into MLMs, it's not a good look for the resume so when they need to go back out into the world, you're not going to be taken seriously in non-MLM jobs.

This Igenius stuff proves the AntiMLM community right when they say these MLMs are all shady practices and recruiting. No one can actually figure out what service or product Igenius provides, all the business is coming from these influencers roping people in due to their personality and lifestyle. No one actually seems to sign up for Igenius for any sort of crypto or investing reason.

Psychiatrist here. She is wrong about emotions. Depression is NOT an emotion. You can say that someone has a "LOW MOOD". That is an emotion. Depression is a condition/disorder, NOT AN EMOTION. She should check her facts.

As a student pursuing a Communication Studies degree, who just spent 10 weeks working on solving a specific problem on my campus, I find 16:28 soooo funny. It just shows that most of these people have never studied anything related to Communications or PR or even just learning HOW to solve problems correctly. If you focus 90% of your energy on just a solution, you are almost guaranteed to overlook nuances of the problem and *why* that problem occurs, *who* it impacts, and how to come up with a solution *people will actually use/want*.
