It’s strange because I got the same watch about three years ago when they first came out for 60 bucks and the movement was a modified and N35 Seiko with a decorated rotor and the Crystal was sapphire and it kept excellent time! It also had an applied logo!

This is one is not 3 years old. No idea in the movement but it’s not good lol. Thanks for watching and commenting.

Given the Seiko Marinemaster 300 is a 5000 AUD watch, yeah, I can think of a reason.
Wait till you find out the Swiss make their parts in China.

Yeah nice watches are definitely expensive. I saved for a long time to get my Tudor Pelagos FXD. Love the marine master. I have seen them on the gray market in the $2500 range. Some good deals can be found. Good luck on the search. Thanks for watching and commenting.

Thanks for doing this review, I just saw the Longines on their site and It is calling to me. Its right up there with the Longines Flyback Chronograph. You have the right idea to spend a few bucks to determine if you would like a more expensive watch.

It’s a gorgeous watch for sure. It’s a must have. That was my thought too, and my idea worked. Saved myself and lot of time and headache. They have their place. Thanks for watching and commenting.

IT'S ALL RELATIVE is what I think you had intended to say?

The chinese movement is likely based off the ETA 7751. I’d be curious to see what the timegrapher reads out if you set it to the 28,800

The only reason I would buy such a watch is kind of like costume jewelry. I have some 'semi' clones.

Agreed. It just reaffirmed that I like the longines and will be adding it to my collection. Thanks for commenting and watching.

Wow that movement is total crap!

They look similar and that's all. They do not have the same complications like moonphase or chronograph.

I think you need to go watch the video again lol. I have held this one next to the longines. It’s an exact rip off copy change in name only. That’s what Chinese’s companies do. Just look at their military lol.

@@DivingIntoWatches-jb5ri You are talking about Guanquin you reviewed, right? Longiness got real moonphase and Guangquin got day/night complicstion. Guanquin does not have chronograph, it just adds same hands on same places without functionality. Also on the top Longiness do not have year and month bit day of the week and month. So they look the ssme only from distance, bit of you look closer...

@@vonmiro You keep saying chronograph lol. These watches are not chronographs. Chronos measure speed and time. These are perpetual calendars that give you day, date, month, year, week, 24hr, seconds, minutes and moon phase. There is no comparison between the two. You stated the sub dials on the quanqin are not functioning? not sure what watch you are looking at. They are fully functioning and are good out 100 years. The movement is crap, but everything functions on this watch. I have held this watch and the Longines master class side by side in my hand and the quanqin is a one for one copy of the longines. So not sure where you get your info on what a chrono and a perpetual calendar is but its. Research the difference before saying these watches are chronos. lol. Thanks for commenting.

@@vonmiro I show the picture of the longines that was copied. Maybe go back and watch the video again. The longines does have month, year etc. The Master class is their perpetual calendar line lol. Not hard to do the research.

You mean pictures at 4:08? They show watches with different complications. Not that hard to see. Look closer at the moonphase. Guangquin does not have moonphase but just am/pm indicator. So they look very similar but have different functionality. I got Longiness so I know what I'm talking about.Guangquin is anice hommage that look almost the same but even Chinese can not make $50 movement with proper chrono, moonphase and perpetual calendar. P.S. not here to argue, sir, just noticing that this is visual copy but without same complications.
