Getting bread or chips for free would fill you up and therefore not wanting to eat/order as much. Sure the first time you go you have likely ordered before you realise how full the bread etc makes you. The second time you may order less as you know that the free bread etc helps to full you up.

The grocery store does not put the more expensive items at Eye level. They’re wrong about that the grocery store makes more money on private label products than they do national brand products. The profit margin is way bigger for private label.

Several years ago Carl's Junior made a change the pissed me off. Used to be if you ordered say a Famous Star and wanted cheese you had to say so and there was an extra charge. Now, the menu says "Famous Star With Cheese". It costs more because the cheese is included and there's no discount if you order the item without the cheese. Paying for cheese either way.

Calories aren't the best indicator of healthy food. A high calorie salad is fine. It's the refined carbs that make it unhealthy. I lost 65 pounds eating whoppers and subway without the bread. My numbers are literally perfect.

If you’ve ever gone to Chick-fil-A you’ll know that half of the cups are just ice
Sonic fills their cups to the brim with ice.
This is why some people need to quit saying that the Route 44 drinks are terrible because 44 oz. is too much.
I got a Route 44 cup of just ice to see how much soda it really held.
I poured my drink into it.
It only held, maybe, a 16-18 oz. of soda.
So, it's mostly ice. And if you eat the ice afterwards, you're definitely getting your water intake.
I will admit I tend to be a bit cheep. Plus due to health conditions I get thirsty and usually crave my drinks more than the food. Not to mention that reading restaurant reviews I have noted that the ice machines are often what is found "not passing code." So (especially with to go orders) at just about any restaurant anymore I order my drinks with no ice.
I know this is an old video, but I used to work at Burger King and the burgers really do go through a flame broiler, they don't get flipped part way through which is why you only see grill marks on one side of the patty.. but they really are grill marks.
They don't enter information, they bump the order off the screen. They have a certain amount of time that they're supposed to make the pizzas in to assure speediness. At Papa John's, it's about 3 minutes from dough to cheese, and it's supposed to be out the door within 5 minutes of exiting the oven.
Music in a grocery store? I think that went out with the invention of the IPod.
Friday's restaurants I've you a trick soup bowl. It's especially made for them. You only get a small portion of soup because more then half the inside is filled with the bowl not soup ! 😒

Yep. Texas road house has great food and to keep people from lingering, they blast rock n roll. Good music but it prevents you from socializing so you eat and go making room for someone else.

Former server. More most house wines you do not get the actual wine you pay for when you buy by the glass. They use a 1-3$ a bottle substitute.
That's terrible.
I used to cater. It's hard work. And, caterers charge 3 times the price of the food.
There's buying the food, prepping, cooking, serving them and cleaning up.
I understand that restaurants charge more so they can pay the bills and employees.
But charging people a huge price but giving them the cheap crap is just so wrong.

The owner was a cheapskate that didnt pay overtime,give breaks, and did other shady shit. Theyve been sued multiple times. My buddy got 45k.

When a package says a percentage a ingredient its because there is more than one ingredient so obviously 88% beef sounds bad but if it didn't have any seasoning no one would eat it and besides who buys beef that's higher than 80% anyway there is no fat to help cook, there is no food that is 100% even water has additives

Probably more to make you feel good about the high price for the entre that is not large enough at some places to fill you up. Bread is a cheaper filler.

To flat-out claim that a burger is grilled when it isn't is false advertising and illegal so if what you say is true ALL fast-food restaurants are breaking the law and if that were true, they'd get sued all the time and would have gone out of business a long time ago.
Well, they’re not being sued for that all the time, and they’re not going out of business even though it’s pretty well-established that they’re not flame grilling the burgers that they claim to be
The Habit grills their burgers, that is 100%. Go there and watch them.
Accuse me, I did work for BK and the grill marks there ARE from how it's cooked. There not fake grill marks. BK don't even have a hot plate cooking area. So you're ether lying or taking McDonald's way of making things and assuming all fast food places does the same.

The "pink slime" part of this video @7:25 marker misleads you as if their CNN. The slime in question was never McDonalds. They never had to replace anything since the original video was a fake promoting a different business and item. Secondly. The Grill Mark section had shown the Burger King logo 3 times as if BK has fake grill marks. Naw. It goes through a Broiler, rotating chains over open flame. May not be charcoal but it's flame grilled. The more i watch this the more i'm disappointed in the reporting
