    Thoroughly enjoy watching these videos from your back catalogue. Can’t help thinking how the old man who taught me to fish as a kid would love these too, his sight was poor in the end and couldn’t get out to fish anymore so he would have sat and enjoyed these to! RIP Gordon Mann

    Hi mate, just came across your channel yesterday n wanted to show you a bit support and appreciation. Really enjoyed what I've watched so far. Very similar kind of fishing to what I do myself up here on Scottish East coast. Absolutely love the winter time for my cod season to kick off. Not enough winter shore cod fishing channels in my opinion. Keep doing what yous are doing lads, great stuff 👏

    Another great video guys despite the no fish, looks like you gave it your best. A bonus is a daytime session gives a bit more to watch for the viewer than sessions in the dark. I don't know if you guys would be interested in making a video about casting technique, specifically using a fixed spool low on the rod / power casting - you both look like cracking casters. Definitely would be something I'd be very interested to see. Cheers👍

      Hi Roz,
      thanks very much for watching and commenting. Yes at some point we'll do a video on casting for sure, hopefully it'll be helpful for you.

    Highs and lows of fishing bud. Most tubers show their good times, but, an honest insight to reality. My memory is a bit vague now. But back in the day. I remember fishing round from church point. And came across what I deem a lagoon/large rockpool. Latter time of a comp. An put out a bait into it. Pulled out a 4lb 2, codling and won the club comp. Can't find it now.

    • @fullcircleangling
      @fullcircleangling  2 года назад

      Thanks David, appreciate the feedback. Obviously prefer to be showing fish but as you say, it's not always the reality. Thats's a result indeed, hopefully one day you can find the hole again and pull another good'n out! Thanks for watching and tight lines.

    • @davidrichardson6872
      @davidrichardson6872 2 года назад +1

      @@fullcircleangling I think I found that hole on Google earth. If you look at the stretch of coast between church point and the beacons, its about 1/3 up from the point.

  • @craigirvine8894
    @craigirvine8894 2 года назад +1

    Bit of advice if you guys don't mind me saying. I could be wrong but you both look like you have come from multi's to fixed spool with braid. You's really should not pull on like you do in this video with braid, it's really not necessary and might actually be losing you fish/gear. If you had a fish hooked and then struck like that, you would pull the hook straight out of the fish's mouth with braid. Just wind into a bite with braid, and don't strike at all. Just my 2 pence worth, I had exactly the same problem. Great videos guys 👍

    • @fullcircleangling
      @fullcircleangling  2 года назад +1

      Totally Craig and good advice, I think we were mainly just trying to get our gear moving at the start of each retrieve due to their being absolutely nowt about. Thanks very much for watching and taking the time to comment in detail. Hopefully some fish to follow next time. Tight lines.
