@@bogwoppit792 it’s a Zziplex HST Evo mate. It’s a bit of a custom Rod as it’s 13’10’’ where’s as the standard rod is 13’6’’. @@fullcircleangling no that's fantastic mate 👏 I've had a try fishing with a tip tornado sport and loved the action on it, but it was on the Holderness coast and not in my local area of Scarborough where it's similar to some of Northumberland's Mark's. The Greys Nitra I've got is like a scaffold pole, I can't attempt a Pendulum cast on it again, becausethe last time I nearly put my back out trying to get the compression in the rod 🤣 so it's just a overhead cast into holes and great for hauling fish up cliffs. Sorry to hear about the rod! Gutting. I had a run of bad luck, trapped the tip of one rod in the car door and snapped it beyond repair. Then I got a new rod for the next session and the first outing exactly the same as you happened and it popped two eyes out! Thanks very much Gary appreciate the feedback. I'd suggest taking a section of coastline, for example Newbiggin to Amble, start at the north or south and fish the marks over the bigger tides during the day so you can see all the features and how they flood. Then you can get a feel for which marks you like and which ones you're not so keen on. Stay safe though and always keep an eye on the incoming tide behind you. Most of the beaches will fish at night with a bit of sea on and some colour in the water. Hope that helps and tight lines👍
